Good morning kids. Hope you all had a nice, restful weekend, as we are now in the run-up to the Thanksgiving holiday. Sorry to have to be the bringer of dyspepsia, but hey, it's my job! So let us dive right in to the deep end.

For those of you fortunate enough not to recognize the accursed name of Jasmine Crockett, she is a Democrat congressfiend from Dallas TX who has the intellectual agility of a sea slug with down's syndrome. And is about as vicious, twisted, perverted and unreconstructed a racialist as you'll find. Given the state of affairs of one political party and movement of our nation, that's saying something. Yet, she actually belched out something over the weekend that I can truly agree with, though likely not in the way she means, but it works as a convenient foil for me to get my point across.

Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett said Sunday on ABC News that there should be no peace for President-elect Donald Trump since he “signed up” for office again, warning that he should be working “every single day” to lower prices and keep Americans safe.

Well this parasitic nematode on the civil society in a way is right. Donald Trump should spend every waking hour doing everything he can to reverse and dismantle everything that Jasmine Crockett's Party has done to this country going back at least to Woodrow Wilson if not all the way back to Aaron Burr.

Until my dying day: Everything wrong with this country, all the pain, misery, suffering, destruction, dislocation and utter waste of blood, treasure and human potential is the fault of or made infinitely worse by the policies and actions of the anti-AMERICAN Left and its epicenter, the Democrat Party. It should have been completely dismantled and abolished in 1865 were it not for the fact that one of its own assassinated Abraham Lincoln. While the sentiment behind the words "with malice towards none" is indeed noble, quite frankly, a cursory look at even the last decade or so of our history has put me in a less than charitable state of mind.

In my view, 2024 was perhaps not so much an embracing of Donald Trump as it was a rejection of Democrat leftism, given what average Americans have suffered through economically, societally and in terms of having any sense of safety and security completely stripped away courtesy of a completely erased border, crime that was already out of control thanks to the decriminalization of crime that insane fiends like Crockett and her ilk inflicted on us going back years now, predating the emergence of Trump on the political scene.

Speaking of which, now that Matt Gaetz is out of the running for Attorney General, whatever the Machiavellian machinations or multi-dimensional chess it may or may not be, it puts his replacement Pam Bondi directly in the spotlight, or the hot-seat as the case may be. And psaki-psircling back to the aforementioned racialism and out of control crime that predates Trump, selecting Bondi raises some doubts, or does it?

Pam Bondi, Trump’s nominee for Attorney General now that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn, is an interesting choice. On the one hand, she seems like a conservative attack dog and comes out of Ron DeSantis’s Florida, which argues that she’s solid. On the other hand, a lot of RINOs are awfully pleased that she’s been named, which is always worrisome.
One other worrisome thing is how Bondi handled the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case back in 2012 as Florida’s AG twelve years ago. Sundance, at Conservative Treehouse, has written a detailed analysis about Bondi’s decision to force George Zimmerman’s case to trial, and what Sundance says is worth thinking about. He describes the facts and the risk that the Swamp now has a hold on her.
The undisputed facts were that Martin, who was black, attacked Zimmerman, slammed him onto the sidewalk, and started to bash Zimmerman’s head against the pavement, a potentially deadly act. Zimmerman, fearing for his life, was able to free his gun and shoot Martin, killing him. . .
. . . Apparently acting at attorney Benjamin Crump’s behest, Bondi told then-Governor Rick Scott to appoint a special prosecutor, forcing out the responding officer, the chief of police, and the local prosecutor. The special prosecutor, Angela Corey, was Bondi’s campaign manager. Corey charged Zimmerman with second-degree homicide and convinced the judge to hold Zimmerman in jail until the trial.
Per Sundance, Bondi’s friend and colleagues built a false case against Zimmerman. She knew what they were doing and approved or perhaps even directed it as AG. Law enforcement at the local level and the local prosecutor were not consulted until the case came to trial. Likewise, the two Zimmerman supporting witnesses were not consulted until the trial.

Human nature dictates that race relations and the tribal nature of people to begin with will always create tensions and animosities, even in pre-Obama America where America despite isolated incidents here and there was truly on the way to becoming in-fact post-racial. The problem for Democrat leftists is that a truly post racial America would denude them of their political power. And so, every time a colored person of color died at the hands of a white person, especially a police officer. Forget for a second that George Zimmerman was a Latino. Hence the invention, or cribbing from the Nuremberg Laws, to label him as a White Hispanic, so as to preserve the racalist mythologies and ability to claim the moral high ground.

In a not necessarily unrelated story, speaking of political power and who will be allowed to wield it:

It's not that America is a lawless nation, or we have a two-tiered justice system, Shit like this just makes us a naked tyranny. If it is allowed to go on this way.

21 Took a very short spin around the conservative websites this morning, very short. 6 months ago conservatives were lamenting that kammie would win resoundingly and destroy the balance of what mr potatohead had left and the US would become a hollowed out core of what it once was. Now the conservatives are hair on fire concerning PDT for his choices to run the government. It's so tiresome. He won after running a brilliant campaign against an admittedly lackluster harris one. One thing this election demonstrated to me is that the country is done with the Obama era crap. Trump didn't just eek out a victory, he schlonged Harris. There are memes breaking out with electoral maps showing a sea of red with a few patches of blue and the words "Can You Hear Us Now?".

Yea, they will fight. But we already took over social media thanks to Musk and the MSM is in the process of imploding. The country wants a return to sanity and it's going on all over the world. A petition is floating around the UK to call for new elections and already has 2+ million signatures.

It's my old laptop and it's running perfectly!

The repair shop did a great job in that regard. My only beef with them was lousy communication and the insane delay for them getting the parts.

At first it was just the sound chip and then when that alone didn't work they had to order the entire sound board. Why did they not just order it from the get-go and either charge me or return it if it wasn't needed.

the shop is "U-Break-I-Fix" which I believe is a national chain. Since there are no Apple stores near me, and they are an authorized repair facility, it was the only option. And I live less than 10 minutes from them.

It was either that or a store that is 90 minutes away roundtrip and I likely would have had the same issues vis a vis waiting for parts and repair. So it worked out in the end.

There is a lot of work contracted to inmates, some not so good like on line work where they could be privy to sensitive information. A lot would serve a good purpose. I remember way back in my USMC days wall lockers and some barracks furniture had tags saying made by Federal Prison Industries. A good formula would be pay state minimum, none of this fight for fifteen BS. Half goes back to the penalty system for the incarceration, a quarter is applied to fines and restitutions, and the remainder to the convict, with a percentage retained and payable at release.

CA-13 in particular I want to see that prick Duerte lose by 1 vote. The CA GOP is a useless bunch of never Trumpers who are completely clueless about their base of voters.

It is better that the Dems win those seats through fraud. It highlights the problem while getting rid of people who will backstab Trump.

There is a dispute between the governor and the legislature about the process. The legislature wrote a law that states the governor must pick someone from the same party, and from a list presented by the legislature. The governor has stated he won’t comply.

A lot of stuff Sundance writes are well documented but not 100% accurate. As I mentioned, the original state's attorney that was assigned to the case recused himself which forced Gov. Scott and Bondi to pick a replacement. It was a very heated time with lots of protests and the whole BLM crap was spinning up with race baiting attorney's descending on FL. Scott even called for a review of FL's Stand Your Ground bill.

In hindsight it's always easier to say what should have been done but this seems like a pretty minor issue. Sundance writes some interesting stuff but he has never found an issue he can't spin up to eleventy!

Ryan Kobayashi, 58, was in Los Angeles to search for his 30-year-old daughter, Hannah Kobayashi, after she missed a connecting flight to New York from Los Angeles International Airport over two weeks ago.

Police confirmed that Ryan Kobayashi died after he jumped off a parking structure near LAX sometime around 4 a.m. Sunday, according to NBC Los Angeles.

321 Just about everything Sundance writes strains credulity. It’s always a search for the slightest perceived deviation from a purity test. People talk about how we need to rid ourselves of the most extreme and intellectually faulty parts of the Democratic Party, but that’s also something we need to do as Republicans. I have no opposition to open, truthful and honest debate on the issues. But what I find both problematic and dishonest are people such as that on the outside who throw stones and try to tear everything down without making a single contribution towards building it up.

We don’t need more pundits and people who sit around the edges and nitpick about what they believe are other people’s motives. We need intelligent people who can formulate cogent arguments, discuss factual, realistic policies and our collective goals. It’s about bringing people together around the fundamentals of liberty, not digging into people’s past, and uncovering what they’ve done as some type of apostasy. And BTW, we all make mistakes in judgment but what defines us is not the mistakes, but rather how we respond to them. YMMV

Not true.
In fact- it could not be proven as to who initiated the attack. The witness was able to see the interaction at the point where Martin was on top of Zimmerman. But there was no one who actually saw who started it. Girl on the phone with Martin testified that Zimmerman had lost sight of Martin, and Martin approached Zimmerman. But no one say who turned the incident into a physical altercation.

Which is why it never should have been brought to trial. If Martin had survived the encounter and Zimmerman died- it would have been the same. A man claiming self-defense, with no one to confirm who turned the event physical.
