Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | After Staging an Insurrection for a Week and Attempting to Steal an Election By Counting Invalid Votes, Bob Casey Finally Concedes the Race for PA Senate to the Winner Dave McCormickAll it took was the PA Supreme Court telling him to knock it off or face the law. He's claiming he wasn't grubbily attempting to steal a seat he lost, but instead just make sure all the people's votes were counted. Including all the dead people, fake people, and illegal alien people.Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) has conceded the race to Republican Dave McCormick after two weeks of contesting the election results. Casey announced his concession in a video released to social media on Thursday. "I just called Dave McCormick to congratulate him on his election to represent Pennsylvania in the United States Senate," he said. "As the first count of ballots is completed, Pennsylvanians can move forward with the knowledge that their voices were heard, whether their vote was the first to be counted or the last."
Scott Presler, who did such a great job turning out the vote, says he's coming next to boot the criminal Democrat election commissioners in Bucks County out of office. And it's a potent threat, because, no small thanks to Presler's efforts, Bucks County has been flipped from Democrat to Republican.

The Trump administration needs to set up a "shot clock" for vote counting and enforce it by withholding federal highway funds (say you have one day from the time the polls close, then you lose 2% for each 24 hours until you're done). If you're California and you still haven't gotten your shit together by today, 16 days later, you've lost a third of your highway money until the next election.

63 whig, off hand do you think there is a solid legal/constitutional basis to go after the atrocity of ranked choice voting? One man, one vote? Anything?
Posted by: rhomboid I would use the VRA and voting dilution claims first rather than constitutional claims. VRA bans practices that dilute votes. See 52 U.S. Code § 10304 "(b)Any voting qualification or prerequisite to voting, or standard, practice, or procedure with respect to voting that has the purpose of or will have the effect of diminishing the ability of any citizens of the United States on account of race or color, or in contravention of the guarantees set forth in section 10303(f)(2) of this title, to elect their preferred candidates of choice denies or abridges the right to vote within the meaning of subsection (a) of this section. (c)The term “purpose” in subsections (a) and (b) of this section shall include any discriminatory purpose. (d)The purpose of subsection (b) of this section is to protect the ability of such citizens to elect their preferred candidates of choice." I also like the vote-dilution approach. As a matter of procedure, could suit be brought on multiple grounds, VRA *and* constitutional, etc? 131 whig, thanks. As always, you can bring the substance on these matters.
I also like the vote-dilution approach. As a matter of procedure, could suit be brought on multiple grounds, VRA *and* constitutional, etc? It seems to me that the VRA vote-dilution principle actually would generally apply to everything that reduces the integrity of an election process. Namely, insecure vote-by-mail, registries not rigorously policed, lack of voter ID for in-person voting. Posted by: rhomboid Yes. Re. Baker v. Carr (one man, one vote) and its progeny--they used the equal protection clause jurisprudence which argues that you cannot deny similarly situated individuals from being treated differently under the law. That is from the rational basis test as Tennessee litigants successfully argued that not redistricting the Tennessee House districts in decades was not rational per se. Burden is on the plaintiff to show irrational action by state. The 15th Amendment though grants Congress explicit power to ensure electoral fairness through Voting Rights Acts and such which changes the burden to the state rather than the plaintiffs to justify the practice. (Meaning this guy was authorized to issue actual IDs and he did, it just had her birth year wrong). The Obama FBI and Eric Holder found out and turned it into an elaborate scheme trying to blackmail Gaetz and his dad about an American prisoner being held by the Iranians. I don't quite understand all the moving parts, but at a critical juncture Gaetz's dad figured out it was a trap and the FBI dumped all the documents to the New York Times. Ripley yesterday I tried but failed to chat up some BP officers - just didn't have any who weren't moving or in a hurry to talk with, as I sometimes do when doing a volunteer thing near an open section of the border. The flow of fake asylum petitioners - which for many months had groups of people just walking up the road, or gathering near the entrance to my range to be "processed" by BP (and given a rid) - stopped a while ago. Though one BP guy told me that was just a cartel management thing, that the flow had moved a bit east to Jacumba.
Next time I'm out there I'll try again to talk with some about the situation, and morale. I know morale spiked in 2016 when the unimaginable happened in the election. As to resisting the lawlessness, BP has lost huge numbers of people leaving the service the last few years - people understandably giving up and walking away. I spoke with many in this period, and they were in two categories - older guys counting the minutes til their 20 years, and younger guys who were adrenaline junkies and just wanted action. I think you’ll find there is a large section of the “gay” community who understand it is the very ideals which liberty promotes, especially within the context of a democratic republic, that allows them to freely live their lives. They furthermore understand that respect for all points of view, with none being preeminent is also a critical ingredient of that formula.

243 The floating franchise is something dating back to even the 1840's. See the death of Edgar Allen Poe during an election night for example.
Posted by: whig "blackbirding" Posted by: Bulg ---- Some argue that in Poe's case because of other cases where people were forced to go from place to place by the mob. But, it is likely that Poe went willingly as he was a notorious alkie and the floating voter mob gave free booze as a reward after each poll stop. In somewhere like Baltimore, you could get enough free rotgut to be paralytic. Pendergast's KC machine was one of the most prominent 20th century examples of the floating mob. Most urban political machines were a bit more careful than Pendergast toward the end. Posted by: whig at November 22, 2024 12:56 PM (ctrM5) 290

RICO Casey and the Bucks County Election Board for conspiring to steal an election.
If Georgia can bring a RICO indictment that would imprison President Trump and his team for lawfully contesting the 2020 election, a federal election, most certainly the law must demand the same for PA cabal that was literally and illegally trying to steal a different federal election. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion demand this (just not in the manner the Marxist left uses these terms) as does a legal system that is actually applied proportionally and evenly instead of squawking DOJ geese that uses the legal system as a weapon to advance the power of its preferred political party.

Flynn especially deserves something for being a primary victim of the lawlessness of the state. A friend suggested PFIAB (a sort of board of directors-level intelligence review council) for Flynn. Seems DNI (a position that shouldn't exist) would be perfect for Flynn, Grenell already held that job, and was a solid performer. VA would have been perfect for Tulsi. Ockham's razor--it is far easier to cheat with absentee ballots which were spread like confetti in 2020 and prevention of any significant oversight over counting which also occurred due to Covid and the RNC Ronna Romney incompetence and malice. Or contrariwise, the subordinate who was good quits but they don't tell you about it and try and cover for him at the same rate. Posted by: Oldcat at November 22, 2024 02:20 PM (n7h9X) 396
FL consent laws are a mess. Yes, technically the age of consent is 18, but statutory rape charges are for under 16. IIRC. So I'm not sure what the actual legal effect is for an adult sleeping with an 18 year old. My guess is nobody cares as a practical matter. If the age of consent was 18, and sleeping with an 18 year old was a real crime, there would be no Spring Break in FL at all.
Posted by: Elric The Blade at November 22, 2024 01:05 PM (iFTx/) Most places have a sliding scale so that if you are within a few years of your gal its fine. But I remember in HS a friend of mine telling the story of him chatting up an attractive girl and her replying "I can't date anyone till I'm 13." bZZZ jailbait! jailbait!! We gave him hell for that story. Pointing out babies in strollers for him and the like. Posted by: Oldcat at November 22, 2024 02:26 PM (n7h9X) 397
How about the actual armed insurrection by the Mayor of Denver? He's threatening to use Denver police to thwart federal agents deporting illegals in Denver.
I don't understand why that is not a bigger deal. Posted by: Hedley Lamarr at November 22, 2024 12:12 PM (UWRAE) I'm pretty sure most of the Denver PD is going to say, "We didn't sign up to get in a gunfight with the Feds for a bunch of illegal migrants." However, his rhetoric is dangerous. The Democrats haven't been this fired up since Abraham Lincoln freed their slaves.
