86 Hey, I got out of the house tonigh!

My friend and I went out and had drinks at a town bar. This was my first time out since we went and saw 'Avatar 2' for a second time.

Very small town. No real bars. But had 4 beers.

We got out and the car was moderately covered in snow. My friend drove home, the 5 blocks, after my 4 beers. I got in the house and Trumpy was at the back patio waiting to come in.

I brought him in, dried him off with a towel, he's resting in the basket in the cat tree happy. Snowflake is resting downstairs.

Canadian winter, I'm in the most southern area, but still, Canadian winter is helping me press the joys of inside.

Not my cats. But always scares me when they go out but I thank God for returning them to me safely. Oh, and when I open the door, check for cars and then call them and they come running carelessly across the street.

What the hell?

But everything is inside, happy and warm.

I have beers and may hit 'Saw 5'.

More tests to come, but here is a rundown of our adventure. His first panel came back clean, but they need to do another to check for his white cell count. I have to bring him back in the morning after giving him gabapentin because he tried to eat the vet techs. I warned them about what he was, but not sure they got it at first. Finally, they let me get him out of his carrier and they put a helmet on him that was too small and took him to another room without me. He promptly let himself out of the helmet, lunged and hissed at everyone. A Savannah hiss sounds like a big snake, not a cat. So they let me hold him during his exam. He was so stressed at that point he was panting really heavily. His lungs sounded fibrous, like kitty asthma, but they really need the white cell count to make sure it’s not something worse, especially with the vomiting and not eating.

My BiL and sister have two Ford era Jags. They have the sedan stored, and they drive the station wagon. It is the most luxurious Taurus station wagon I have ever been in, exceeding the high end Lincolns. I owned a Taurus station wagon and it really had the finish of a Pinto, if it had been as nice as the Jag I would still own it.

It’s common to go guv to senator. Uncommon the other way. You may go from top dog to 1/100 but the prestige level is way higher. And it’s a pretty easy job too with lots of opportunity for graft.
