It's Two Weeks Since the Election and I Can't Stop Doing "The Trump" Cafe

belfast.jpg
Belfast

Here's another compilation of The Trump. I've listened to "YMCA" a lot more than a heterosexual man probably should.

Fluffy white fox.

Baby hippo dental exam.

Steve Inman: When you're a soyboy all jacked up on White Claw and you don't realize the bouncer at the bar you're busting up is a former British heavyweight champion.

When you exceed the recommended weight maximum on your cheap Amazon backyard slide for life.

NPCs vs. Environment mode.

Big ol' cruise ship that NeverTrump couldn't book 15 cabins on. In case you're thinking, as I did, that that looks too sci-fi and must be one of those Cheapfakes, here's the webpage for the dingy.

Sometimes it's Shark Week IRL.

Horse doesn't see the wire fence until the last second. (Don't worry, he's okay.)

Stroking the rodent, if you catch my drift.

There be whales here!

A stream in the Dolomites.

If you're wondering why I'm always posting the Dolomites, Patagonia, Edinburgh, the Faroe Islands, etc.: I think the algorithm has noticed me clicking on these and now just floods me with them.

Let's tune into The Ocho: If it's almost a sport, it's The Ocho!

80 Can't find current newz on the peace scare in Lebanon, but meanwhile IDF looks like it might encircle entire western sector of Hezb in the south. Dunno who/what's left there to capture/eliminate.

Will assume they know what they're doing but fairly shocked Israeli leadership has allowed peace scare to advance this far when meaningful victory is in sight.

Hezb has hit UNIFIL positions twice in two days. UN statements are of the "some people did some things" variety, not naming perps, as opposed to when IDF action against active Hezb positions *in close proximity to UNIFIL sites* results in unpleasantness, in which case Deep Concern and much finger-wagging ensues.

Basically Warner Brothers is cleaning house, MT+ is just going to be reruns of old shows except for a couple that they have contracts with until the contracts run out. Its likely WB is going to just fold MT+ away.

110 24 Does anybody know the backstory on this Italian procession featuring the God Emperor Trump? The video was uploaded five years ago, but I have no idea what prompted this over-the-top Trump tribute. I love it, by the way.
--------
The Master Drone (Italian: Il Pa-Drone), popularly referred to as God Emperor Trump, was a 65-foot (20-metre) papier-mâché sculpture and float depicting Donald Trump, the president of the United States at the time, dressed as the fictional God Emperor of Mankind from the Warhammer 40,000 miniature war game franchise. It was created by the Italian artist Fabrizio Galli for the Carnival of Viareggio in 2019.

The Carnival of Viareggio (Italian: Carnevale di Viareggio) is a carnival event annually held in the Tuscan city of Viareggio, Italy. It is considered amongst the most renowned carnival celebrations in both Italy and Europe.

Overview
Its main characteristic is given by the parade of floats and masks, usually made of paper-pulp, depicting caricatures of popular people, such as politicians, showmen, and sportsmen; the parade is held on the Viareggio avenue located alongside the local beach.

5 were downed by air defense, the last was damaged and started a small fire on landing, which was put out. No casualties.

181 >>To my surprise, this boat had A/C. But boy was that critical. Even in November, with fairly decent trade winds including at night, we would have all been sleeping up on top without it. First Caribbean experience, very different from Pacific/Sea of Cortez.

Catamarans have taken over the Caribbean bareboat world and for good reason. Big comfy platform that's perfect for the kind of sailing you usually do there which is casual and mainly about the experience and not hard core sailing but still gives the sail feel while offering an easy space for chilling.

Can't speak to the lack of marine life. Been a few years since I've been back but I never experienced that so maybe things have changed or maybe just the conditions. The Caribbean is usually not lacking for marine life.

The presence of communists in the Democrat Party isn't just a recent phenomenon, and fighting the Russians for eastern Europe wouldn't have been very popular for either party here in 1945.

If you want to take a tour, a cruise ship is the way to go. You get to go to bars and restaurants and comedy clubs and stuff during the travel time. If you go by bus, you're stuck sitting on a bus. If you drive yourself, you can't drink nearly as much.

And you go back to the same "hotel room" every night, so you can unpack. You don't have to live out of your suitcase. And a lot of the boring travel time happens while you're sleeping.

257 They actually ran with it: Fact Check: Did Deitz Nuutzen Painting Predict Trump Dinner With RFK Jr?

Looking at the “painting” it looks AI-generated. The composition exactly matches the photograph, down to the person in Musk’s position having their hands on their thigh with four fingers visible, the gold bar as the base of the table, and the figures in Kennedy and Musk’s position both wearing modern leather dress shoes, not typical of the early 18th Century.

Deitz Nuützen is a homophone of “Deez Nutz,” an internet slang term for testicles (these nuts).

The meme has its origins in rapper Dr. Dre’s 1992 album The Chronic. It has a track called “Deeez Nuuuts” in which rapper Warren G tells a joke to a woman on the phone, the punchline of which is “deez nuts.”

In March 2015, Instagram user @WelvenDaGreat posted a video of himself calling his friend asking whether something came in the mail today, because he was expecting “deez nuts” before letting out a screeching laugh and yelling “gotteem.”

That video became a viral sensation and internet meme. Musk himself has posted at least two “deez nutz” memes on his X account this year.

Via zerohedge, El Malo gato writes about what is coming to DC

https://tinyurl.com/3x8u4nau

"The simple fact is that there exists a very small group of incredibly high-function, insanely productive people. It’s the dirty secret of the world. This tiny tribe conceives, invents, and builds basically everything novel. All of it. They are not normal people. They are the 0.1%.

"Unless you have worked with them, around them, or been a part of what they do, you simply lack a reference for what they are like. It’s essentially inconceivable how much such people can get done when they set their minds to it, how many rules they will disprove, break, or ignore, and how many paradigms they will upend.

"DC has never seen a mob of high-function autist builders and fin warriors coalesce before. They have no fricking idea what’s coming. They cannot possibly know."

I believe it’s so devastating because the Left truly has replaced Religion with Politics. Theya have a fanatical absolute Faith in their dogma; they are the truest of true believers. They were absolutely certain, it was an article of faith, that Kamala would win and Trump and his followers would be humiliated.
And what happened? Their god failed; their prophets proved false. A huge hole has been ripped out of the core of their psyche; every one of them is reevaluating everything they believe about the world.

355 many sports teams fall into the same trap, especially the team i'm most familiar with. they achieve some early success in the game or season, and start to think they've already won it all. they relax, start celebrating, and generally stop doing some of what won them the early success. the other team rallies and fights back, and stuns the over-confident team.
