Wreck-It-Ralph: Folie a Deux
A while back, I looked at a case study in modern Hollywood accidentally coming up with a new success and then instantly undermining it in a sequel with The LEGO Movie. Well, companion to that, happening right about the same time at a rival studio, is another case study in such a movement, this time from Disney with its pair of Wreck-It Ralph films.
A brief synopsis: Essentially Toy Story but with video games, the first film tells about the titular Ralph, the bad guy in a classic video game called Fix-It Felix Jr. who, tired of being the bad guy all the time, sets out into other video games to try and be the good guy. He ends up in a candy-themed racing game where he helps the waifish and wayward Venelope Von Schweets to win her rightful place as a real racer and embrace his nature to do good. It's pretty bog-standard anti-hero makes good storytelling, and it's got wit and charm and a solidly good ending. It's about a good-natured guy who learns to use his innate skills to help people and contribute and receive recognition from his peers. It's not great cinema, but it's an entertaining trifle.
The sequel...is not that. The focus turns to Venelope who, now queen of her game, has grown bored with constantly being amazing. She and Ralph go into the Internet to try and win a new wheel for her game that needs replacing, and she decides to abandon everyone for a new place in another racing game that's more dangerous. Also, Ralph is essentially the bad guy because he's clinging to her and wants her to stay.
So, the good guy and main character of the first gets pushed aside for the supporting girl character, she's too awesome and needs to be allowed to grow even more, and he's a baby who's just trying to hold her back because he can't let her go. Do you see how the second film completely and totally undermines the first? Well, with 6 years since the release of the second, there's no official word on a third film, even though the second actually made a bit more money than the first. It's weird.
But let's dig into the issues with the sequel.
Heroes
The development of the first film was actually centered around Fix-It Felix for a very long time. The idea was the Felix would be so tired of winning all the time in his game that he'd "game jump" to try something else. After pursuing this for a while, the writers Phil Johnston and Jennifer Lee, decided that the entire conceit made Felix unlikable. Going from top of his own personal world and not finding it enough? That's not the kind of character you build a film around, especially something that's supposed to be easy and crowd-pleasing like Wreck-It Ralph. So, they decided that the underdog was the right place to go, elevating the antagonist of the video game to the protagonist of the movie. Again, it's super standard stuff, but it works in its own little box.
So...remember the short synopsis of the second film, Ralph Breaks the Internet? Remember how Venelope is now the top of her game, gets bored, and decides that she needs more? Do you notice how it is the exact character arc that they rejected for the first film and Fix-It Felix?
Yeah, I noticed it too.
Venelope is deeply unlikeable in Ralph Breaks the Internet. Never mind that she's played by Sarah Silverman who spends every second of her voice performance in both films at this nasally, high register while hyperventilating through every line of dialogue, which is bad enough. No, it's made all the worse that she's this entitled brat in the second film who has the world but it isn't enough, and she has to actively push away the one person who believed in her and even saved her in the previous film to get that extra bit of fun out of life.
You see, Venelope ends up feeling like a mother looking for a second life after too many years looking after her kid (Ralph is extremely child-like in the second film). She's bored with her comfortable middle-class existence where everything's taken care of for her and she doesn't have to struggle for anything, so she abandons her entire set of responsibilities (including to her original game which, we're told, could be shut down if she doesn't come back) for a life of fun in a completely new place, this online game called Slaughter Race. She's a bad person, and she's the main character of the film.
Well, what about Ralph? It's named after him. Isn't he the main character? Really, he's not, but he remains prominent throughout. The plot is them needing to raise tens of thousands of dollars to pay for a special wheel on eBay (that they needlessly and wildly drove the price up on for no reason) for Venelope's game cabinet that they kind of broke through antics while a real person was playing, so Ralph decides to become an internet sensation, starring in a series of demeaning videos, chasing every trend, to get likes and raise the necessary cash. Ralph is working his butt off to help Venelope, degrading himself even to save her game and make sure her home remains. And...he ends up being the bad guy because he's too clingy to the only friend he has, the girl he saved from a life in the wilds of her game and made her freaking princess of it through his actions.
It's a familiar pattern at this point. The strong male character must become a simpleton and his simple-nature becomes antagonistic to the real hero: the female character. Maybe he's not a bad guy, but he needs to learn to be better. You see, instead of the first film which had an actual antagonist in a character named Turbo, the antagonist is...the title character.
Psychological Realism
Looking back through the history of Disney, there's a common approach to storytelling in their animated films from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves through the restoration of the nineties, and that is romantic adventure. The emphasis on princesses from Snow White to Aurora to Cinderella to Ariel to even Esmerelda (Gipsy princess, I guess) did put a heavy emphasis on appealing to girls, but there was always this sense of adventure to things like the ending of Snow White with the dwarves chasing the evil stepmother up in the rain and lightning or Prince Phillip fighting Maleficent in dragon form in Sleeping Beauty. These were adventures in strange lands with romance and a fight between good and evil. They weren't Chekov. They weren't Ibsin. They were musical adventures for children.
That has changed at Disney in recent years. The first Wreck-It Ralph was broadly along those lines, but there was no romance between a prince and princess. It edged more towards buddy comedy, but the adventure aspect with a broadly good vs. evil paradigm was still in place. Ralph Breaks the Internet goes against that with this emphasis on Vanelope's self-actualization and Ralph's dealing with his clinginess. Is this the sort of material for the target audience? I'm also reminded of Encanto, another Disney animated feature film that came out roughly the same time where the central point of the film was that the main character, a girl, wasn't loved enough by her grandmother because she didn't have special powers like the rest of her family. Never mind good or bad in terms of the film's quality (sure, "We Don't Talk about Bruno" is a pretty good song, I'll admit that), but the storytelling focus on not being loved enough and confronting your matriarchal superior about it...doesn't feel like the kind of thing that 5-8 year old girls are going to absorb all that intricately.
The first film felt like it was written by adults for children. The second one feels like it was written by twenty-five year old girls for teenagers. The writing team of the two films aren't the same. The first was written by Johnston and Lee, but the second was written by Johnston and Pamela Ribon (she later went on to write a short film called...My Year of Dicks). I think that might have something to do with the change.
Music and Synergy
The first film has non-diegetic music and nothing else, just the score by Henry Jackman. The second one, though, has a sung song in the tradition of Disney films. Venelope, for plot reasons, ends up wandering the Internet and lands at Disney.com, finding herself in a room with all of the other Disney princesses. There, they tell her that since she herself is a princess, she needs to have a song to tells her what she wants. After more plot, Venelope ends up back in Slaughter Race and does sing her song. It's an ironic piece about how this violent, dank, dark place is her ideal, inverting the whole Disney princess song aesthetic. It's a song designed for adults, the showstopper in a movie for kids. Now, having two kids who have seen the film, I can say that they do laugh through it. They laugh at the random things that happen like a shark popping out of a manhole to eat someone, but the whole point sails over their head. The ironic treatment of the song itself is designed for adults.
So, the first film was filled with video game cameos, but they worked. Why did they work? Because they weren't that important to the actual story. The story itself centered on two games invented by the writers (Fix-It Felix Jr. and Sugar Rush), but we could see characters like Q-bert, Kano from Mortal Kombat, or the ghosts from Pac-Man in scenes. Heck, Kano is prominent in an early scene where we're introduced to Ralph. However, knowing who they are is incidental. It's where that balance between entertaining children and adults gets struck, the bright colors and quick moving of the plot appealing to kids while the "I Know That Guy!" bit applies to adults.
The second film is more...ugh...synergistic with that trip to Disney.com which occupies a solid section of the middle of the film while the princesses get to rescue Ralph in the end (by putting him in Snow White's dress as he falls, of course). It also includes time for stormtroopers from Star Wars and a bit from Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy (don't have to pay anyone for that likeness), and all of this just rubs me the wrong way. The first film's cameos were based on the idea of video games, came from different sources not owned by Disney (ala the cameos in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, also a Disney movie), and were tied to the world created by the film. The cameos in the second all feel like an effort at a corporation keeping its branding fresh. It feels disposable, like all cameos, but it gets so much attention in the later portion of the films that dominate the action while being so brazenly about corporate synergy instead of fun.
Plot and Point
So, I come to the actual plot of the film. I won't recount it, but let me just say that it's a hodgepodge of events. In fact, it almost feels more like a series of television episodes rather than one story. The first film had acts and trips to different parts of the arcade, including a side-adventure into a Call of Duty-like game called Hero's Duty, but it was all centered around Ralph's quest to be a good person despite being a bad guy. The second film is...not nearly as clear.
The film has to start with the assumption that Ralph is the main character, or at least a main character, and then it works to push Venelope to the front. It does that by having them together as best friends in the beginning for the introduction through the beginning of the plot to get the wheel which takes them to eBay on the Internet which they then have to figure out a way to make the money (through following click-bait to farm for items in games...great lesson for the kids), which leads them to Slaughter Race, but it doesn't work for their money purposes, so Ralph tries to become an internet personality which involves Venelope traveling the internet for clicks. All of this gets followed up by a virus infecting Ralph and creating needy copies of him that combine together into a giant Ralph that they must defeat. It's so all over the place without a clear throughline, the throughline that does eventually develop being about how the hero of the first one is actually terrible.
It's so just hard to watch from a storytelling perspective. It's jerky and janky. I don't think it works, which is a marked contrast to the relatively clean storytelling of the first.
In the End
So, it's a familiar pattern. Sudden surprise hit gets reworked in the sequel to undo what the first one did. It's just another case study, and I find it interesting in conjunction with the example of the LEGO franchise that died just as quickly (having a spin-off in between its two main entries). The Wreck It Ralph sequel made a bit more money, but it also cost a bit more money, negating the whole idea of going from one success to a bigger success that has defined the ethos of modern franchise filmmaking since The Empire Strikes Back. There's no news on a sequel at all, and it's been six years since Ralph Breaks the Internet came out, though John C. Reilly, who voiced Ralph, has said that he has great ideas.
Did the unfocused storytelling, unappealing main character, over the head approach to its point for its audience, and its demeaning of the previous film's main character play a part in diminishing potential box office returns? I don't know, but I can say that it did diminish the film artistically.

I do, however, remember being very put off by the ads for Encanto. The vibe I got from that movie was, Girl who already knows how smart and special she is fights to prove it to the rest of her family, who are also smart and special girls. Not a very interesting arc.
So I kinda get your point about Ralph and Miss Whatever.

I watched a little bit of "Peeping Tom" when it came on TCM the other day as prelude for that documentary.
Frankly, showing a movie like that in Britain circa 1960, I can see why it wrecked Powell's career.

The macguffin here is: radiation in the dark matter/energy spectrum because, fuck it, why not. It's not like the MONDers are doing any better. Really you're here for the character study.
Although the macguffin is still out there; the writers don't have a clue what to do with it.
Watch "Contact" instead, or maybe "Real Genius".

I used to like the animated movies but after my god daughter and her sisters grew up, I didn't care. I never watched many anyways. We were miles from a movie theatre.
I'm catching up now though....in horror and slasher flicks...trying to find stuff messed up enough to make life in Canada seem better.
Signal 100 - 2019 - Japan - free on Tubi. 10 out of 10. I just stumbled across it. Horror movie. Japanese Schoolgirls! I'm in!
It was a very fun horror movie! Different! Like the first time you found 'Star Trek' when you were a kid. A teacher hypnotizes his students so that any of 100 actions like crying, using cellphones, being violent, telling outsiders leads them to kill themselves.
The kids are trapped in the school. Moderate gore. Great story. Can't wait to see again.
Night of the Demons - 1988 - US - free on one of the apps. 4 out of 10. Horribly acted. Stupid dialogue. Some nices scenes though. And a hot asian girl shows magnificent breasts. That was an extra point.

It was done by the Chosen director, and it literally is a Christmas movie I will watch every year. A throwback to 80's Christmas movies.

-"Black Sugar", don't do drugs kids, or you'll get kidnapped by Nyarlathotep.
-"Toonocalypse", found footage film about goofy little cartoon aliens. Scottish Rod Serling.
-"Lost In The Sky", if you don't think about the physics, it's an impressive achievement (all practical effects!). Robot tries to rescue girl from gravity-well.
-"Incoming Call", time-communication caper not unlike "Click" or "Butterfly Effect", better than both (because it's shorter than both)
-"Eternal Dawn", composed with the Unreal Engine, it's shit don't watch it.
...I believe I watched most of these on Election Night on a massive sugar binge, on account of worrying about my liver and having a doctor appointment for that on 6 November (all was well). Anyway, no sleep, on laptop, == lots of time to watch this stuff.

It was very Lynchian, but not his best IMO. Mostly fun to see his stable of actors again.

August Underground - US - 70 minutes is a found footage story of serial killers shot in a grainy camcorder style. I loathe that stuff jiggling camcorder stuff but made it through.
It was pretty brutal torture and rape videos, a road trip to Amish country, a tattoo parlor and then hookers.
The producers wantes to create a fucked up horror movie and they did. Why would I consider 'Terrifier' art but not this?
Did I like it? Meh! But any film I have to see again gets 10 out of 10.
'August Underground - Mordum' - US - free on Fawesome. 10 oit of 10.
The most brutal of the three films according to the reviews. In the first 20 minutes, there's a girl banging her brother, her and the camera giy go to a drug house, stuff happens, a man and woman are found in separate coffins with their heads taped and their day gets worse.
And then the movie gets sick. They wanted to put something disturbing on film and succeeded. I'm almost ready to watch 'The Serbian' and 'The Human Centipede after this.

I bought both these movies at a Walmart Black Friday dealio. I got them both because I enjoyed the original in the theater. Second one I had never seen.
Rewatching the first one, it held up. Still decent. Not great, but very amusing.
Second one sucked. It sucked ass. I can't even remember most of it, except that it blew.

I will amend the review though and say that there was in fact a romance. It involved Fix-It Felix and the butch lady soldier from the FPS shooter who had a truly tragic back story. Since the leads weren't involved, the romance could be funny, sweet, and free from the usual Disney cliches.
Pixar 2, though. Everything the review said it was, a real disappointment.

It was by a pissed off animator who wanted to do his own thing. For a kids tv show, it was beautifully animated with a beautiful story. Great show.
Also, not a movie, but one of the greatest cartoons ever 'Darkwing Duck.'

There's usually some super simple explanation to Lynchs movies, and the simplest explanation for Inland Empire is : "the creative process". I don't think it's worth digging any further than that, though.
The point of Lynch movies is never to explain all of the symbols, though so many people love to do it.

I hated, HATED, that the message was Vanellope has to abandon her normie basic loser family to "find herrself." Ralph finally built a family for them, and wasn't the bad guy in the first film, and in the second he's once again the bad guy. It reinforces my theory that the types of creatives who gravitate to Hollywood have hangups and traumas and issues they are trying to unpack in their art. Fine. But they forget to make it entertaining. Old Hollywood embraced the safe, middle class life the people in Hollywood flee from. Modern Hollywood just wants to spit on it and see it die. Ralph 2 is part of that.

Wreck-It Ralph did pretty good in Japan. Japanese cities and towns still have neighborhood video arcades, which the kids still hang out in after school and play games. 9Except for the unfortunate nerds and wanna-be elites who go to cram school.) The Japanese audience would have enjoyed the movie for much the same reasons as we would. (Remember those days when Disney animated movies had a universal appeal that could be understood by anyone? Pepperidge Farms remembers.)

I've seen most of his work, and what I think I can say is that, even when I didn't understand all of it, in the end I seemed to have come out of it feeling what I was supposed to.

I don't know who the voice actor is, but there was an episode where a prince comes across a sleeping princess, decides he'd be better off if he didn't wake her up, but built a theme park around her. Called Sleeping Beautyland.
It's brilliant, the prince with his trusty broad sword (pronouncing the w), only to find "they don't make broad swords, like they use to!"

Encanto is all about breaking the cycle of a toxic family culture that even the most well meaning families can have. For the Madrigal family, the trauma of the matriarch fleeing her home and losing her husband turned her fearful, bitter, overbearing. She, like the titular grandma in the movie Coco, is the secret lynchpin for the deeper adult themes, and the solution to the problems plaguing the protagonists in both films. (When I finally got married and brought an "outsider" into our family culture, it brought a lot of rifts that haven't healed, and unearthed some toxic family culture I never even realized was there! I've had to do a lot of unpacking of that. So I love Encanto, it hits a lot of my own journey. And there's fun cute silly songs and birds and it's pretty.)

The most un-Disney movies had to be "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" simply because the villain was LUSTING after Esmerelda insanely - "Hellfire" is an amazing song - and "Lilo and Stitch" which is one of my all time favorites.
Lilo was so dark. "Just leave me here to die..."
They had a cartoon for 2 seasons. The first season was amazing, fun, exciting, a little dark. And the second season, executives wrote notes...
Stitch also did go to Japan and was in a series there. Trapped on an island.

My older brother worked at a funeral home when he was in the 10th grade. He played in the caskets, assisted the embalmer, washed the cars. He even did a year at mortuary sciences, could have made a ton of money. But get this, he was too strange for the funeral game.

So, hilarious, they did a musical of the Disney version of Hunchback, but let Europeans be in charge and do what they wanted. They chose to make it more the original Hugo story and less Disney. Let's just say that there were a lot of traumatized families, when it didn't have that happy Disney ending for any of the main characters!
Lilo and Stitch was amazingly realistic in how it showed messy, broken families, but that they can grow and heal and leave no one behind. Which is kinda again the opposite message of Ralph 2.

No idea. The Saw movies were gory but it was nihilistic. Terrifier was just torture porn. No real story or character depth at all. I'm glad the sequel is embarrassing Disney at the box office, but I worry about fans of that.

The crap they pulled in the Lego Movie sequel, on the other hand, really made me mad. Because I loved the first one, and because it was so obvious how they were going to ruin the sequel. The moment we saw a mini-doll (the girl version of a mini-figure) as a 'villain' in the trailer, it was a foregone conclusion that she was going to be misunderstood in some way, and that the story was going to reveal that everyone should have been on her side from the beginning. So blatant, so dumb....

They collect the same data the media does. He said this shows they are clearly holding back calling states, and getting the viewers accurate info, just to get views.

From my memory, those two were the best part of the movie! I'm not sure they could have carried the movie...but they were fun when they were on-screen. A comically-G-rated hero and a comically-over-the-top-cliche of an action-girl; the pair just worked.

I can't remember the character's name but it was a great choice on their part. There is a long history of badass female warrior types in video games, from Seamus Aran to Shepherd and beyond. Gamers are fine with tough fighter women, because we all know its fantasy and gaming, not the real world. Plus, as guys, if we're gonna watch a third person avatar for hours of gameplay, having a nice female rear end is a bonus.

Wreck-It Ralph came out during the brief period after Disney's purchase of Pixar where Pixar's creative genius John Lasseter was in charge of all of Disney animation. That got us Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, and the first Frozen. Disney-made movies with that Pixar storytelling touch.
Lasseter was then falsely #MeTooed out of Disney and replaced with a chick who made all the movies lame and gay. So, Wreck-It Ralph 2 was about a girl boss, Frozen 2 was about lesbians, and so on.

I loved Darkwing Duck as a kid... Besides being a great show, it was just....a little odd. Darkwing was obviously a parody of Batman, but there was also something else about him. Something that felt like it should have been familiar, but still felt so different. Eventually, I learned that he was also a parody of the Shadow. A character that was sort of in the cultural zeitgeist, but not really recognized as such...

I just rewatched Princess Bride to try and indoctrinate kids into loving it. (Score! I succeeded.) The emotional core of movies like the Lego Movie and PB -- two real life generations of a family connecting in the B plot, while a splashy fantasy story is taking place in the A plot -- always gets me.

I had forgotten about Tangled, that was a pretty good Disney animated movie too. Frozen got HUGE bank and attention but I found it so boring that I stopped watching after the first 20 minutes. It was just slow and nothing happened.

Changed story in the 11th hour when the original villain, Elsa, got her "I Want" song written and it was too sympathetic but too catchy to drop. It shows. But the money machine went Brrrrrrrr and Disney ignored the flaws when they made the sequel. My fave fan theory is the trolls meddled -- saw their beloved Kristoff loved Anna, made Hans evil and wiped his memory so Kristoff could get the girl, and thats why everything gets messed up. I did love that sisterly love saved the day though. That's a good message for girls.
The animators were struggling with how to depict Elsa's power, Lassiter told them to go study ice forming and how the crystals spread. Did the trick. He also added Flynn Rider to Tangled (Yay Zachary Levi!) so boys would have someone to connect to, and it worked. Dumping him was the dumbest mistake Disney made.

The Lego Movie may have been the last great parody movie we've had. It worked on so many levels...
The Lego Batman Movie....The first 10 or 15 minutes were great. But once it tried to have a 'story'....well, that story kind of sucked. Batman worked in The Lego Movie because he was the (self-aware) embodiment of what a fan thinks Batman should be. He works great as a joke, but he wears thin as the lead of an entire movie.

She and Anna started the quirky female lead trend that Disney has overplayed. But for them, it makes sense they have a lot of social awkwardness...both were trapped in castles and starved for social connection! But yeah, Tangled is just great from start to finish. At first I wanted the villainess to get redeemed, and become the foster mom Rapunzel deserved. But now with all the woke stuff, it feels kind of delicious that they kept her deeply wicked to the end.

Yes, it is expensive to live here. There isn't much housing here. We bought a house 2 months ago and I was horrified about the price. We sold a big house in South Carolina in June and the one we bought here is less than half the size of the one we sold out there.
Probably if you look in the "big cities" here the prices are competive with other areas east.

You'll have to repeal Amendment X or write a superseding Amendment, to establish a Federal Law for voting requirements other than US citizenship and voting for citizens age 18 and above.

Two delicious scandals.
The Nano people came out with the hot take that if you don't support writers using AI for their stories, you are being ableist! But no one seems to be able to say if they mean AI helping write the whole story, or just help you generate ideas. (Supposedly they are supported by an AI group or building their own? A conspiracy theory is they are using Nano generated stories to feed their AI software. I cannot verify that. But it's fun speculation.)
Less fun is they had a Nano person helping run the kid writers part of Nano, and he was a pedo and was grooming kids. Nano did not do enough to stomp that out and burn the ashes. So rightfully so, parents and Nano stalwarts abandoned it in droves.

OK, that seems relevant, in that it involves a Federal law requiring States to do things not mentioned in the Constitution.
I was thinking of the many things the Federal government does which are not "delegated to the United States by the Constitution", which should be reserved to the States by the tenth. Yeah, I know penumbras and emissions.
Seems like requiring states to check IDs to vote, to verify citizenship and age would be allowed.

That was one very odd experience in the hospital. I was there for 6 days because my earache decided to attack my throat and form an abcess behind a tonsil. I couldn't eat or speak for days. The cure was... not enjoyable.
But wearing basically nothing and having surprisingly cute girl nurses come in and check me all over was an uncomfortable and unusual experience. They were all jaded and professional but it wasn't something I was used to. And they are all so young, I felt ancient.

Staff here have been great. Some nurses young enough to be my children. One young nurse almost slipped and fell and I was about to catch her (was walking back to my bed at time), but she caught herself first. Old habits, man. See someone falling, try to help them.

Interesting. I get a sense that maybe there were a lot of people that just didn't want to hitch themselves to her and/or face off with Trump, and they weren't left with many options.
That goes a long way toward a decent explanation that doesn't involve anything we can't see with the naked eye. I'm trying to keep it to that for now.

I saw a similar one on X, a lesbian who was a kid when vandals broke into the crummy apartment where she and her sister lived with their single mom, they hid in the closet and miraculously weren't discovered, but she was so scared she lost control of her bodily functions in the closet. I realized this election I was too informed. I've known since the early 2000s the left was all for killing babies post birth if they survived abortions. Obama voted against the Illinois Born Alive Protection Act in 2001.
I assumed that all the left knew this horribleness was happening, but they were turning a blind eye to it for the pro-choice cause. But a lot of the left sputtering during this election that post birth abortions were a lie...I realized some of them had no clue. They honestly believe we were making it up as some sort of boogeyman scare tactic.
The normies don't realize how far abortion actually goes. We can wake them up. The left tipped their hand and showed us this issue getting the light of day terrifies them.

I quit watching around the time Eddie Murphy left. Missed the Norm McDonald years. I think it was funnier before as there was real comedic talent. No one from that show seems to go anywhere today, not that I would notice.

Best wishes jim. We have also landed in the hosp, I took Jules into the ER last night. We had to wait, as we did she blanked out right before my eyes. My calls finally got attention and the receptionist finally said something about triage.
ER folks did a great job, tho they freaked me out. J was so gone, barely breathing, they picked her up and tossed her on the bed like a sack of potatoes. They saved her then.
After surgery last night the prognosis today is "septic shock with multi organ failure secondary to perforated gastric ulcer with kidney and liver failure".
I can't beleive this is happening. If anyone could mention Julie in their prayers I would be most grateful, I think prayers do help.
