US election results: How Trump won in maps and charts https://tinyurl.com/bdh6j46p Has some insightful graphs. One shows 14 different cohorts vs. how Trump did. Trump killed with White Non-College Men and White Non-College Women, his two best cohorts. He also made gains with Hispanics, Asians and Blacks. But White Non-College is 35% of the electorate and was far and away the biggest driver for Trump's success. White Non-College has been evicted from its historic home in the D party. I know Trump is a bold executive in his business ventures but he had any number of people throwing roadblocks in his path during that first term and he didn't know the landscape well enough to trust his own instincts. Half of the Republicans were saying "oh no you can't do that! If the courts say stop you have to fold like a cheap umbrella". Although the official was not named in the statement, multiple government officials told the Daily Wire that the person responsible for the misguided directive is named Marn’i Washington. According to the Daily Wire's exclusive report, the FEMA agents ordered not to help citizens with Trump signs were operating in Highlands County, Florida. At least 20 homes were reportedly skipped over. “I know they’re short-staffed, I thought we could go help and make a difference,” one of the FEMA employees remarked. “When we got there we were told to discriminate against people. Kim Strassel is top notch. (Insty)
KIMBERLEY STRASSEL: A Landslide Against the Media. Democrats now face a choice. On one side are party grown-ups who are publicly acknowledging this defeat as a sharp voter rebuke of progressive policies. They are admitting that lawfare was a mistake, that the party is culturally out of touch, that lunatic interest groups are running the asylum. They worry about a growing political realignment that threatens the party’s future. That we are hearing these voices is an improvement over the past eight years. Yet on the other side are the progressive architects of the mess, already rationalizing away the night as a function of racism, sexism and America’s supposed love affair with “fascism.” They mark the loss down to “tactical” errors—the failure to court pro-Palestinian voters, a misallocation of door-knockers, poor timing in ad buys. The party just needs better “messaging” of its “historic achievements.” No surprise, the media is already running with this latter narrative, again providing the party a soothing alternative to the blunt reality of its ideological fail. Will Democrats be lulled again? Any bets as to whether they'll learn? Posted by: Archimedes at November 09, 2024 09:17 AM (xCA6C) 197

Posted by: Tonypete ********* Well, it's like this. For 15 years we told the story with the obvious explanation of what happened and got no traction from anybody who could possibly do anything. A year and a half ago a stranger (Y.M.) who had purchased the property where we believe the murder took place heard the rumors from a neighbor and found our blog, which lays out the whole tale. He contacted us, gave permission for us to search. This simple interaction led to the K9 search a year ago October, and subsequent involvement of state and even federal LE agencies. Despite some missteps and setbacks, the investigation has its own momentum, and proceeds along multiple fronts, some of which I have not mentioned here. We have learned to see God's hand in this sequence of events. We have learned to be grateful to Y.M. for getting the ball rolling. We have learned patience. We have earned vindication for endeavoring to persevere in telling Jack's story. Posted by: muldoon at November 09, 2024 09:18 AM (991eG) 203

'The conclusion for Democrats is that they've got to dispense with these people from the past, including Hillary Clinton too, and move to a new generation of figures who are not in the AOC club at all,' he said, referring to left-wing firebrand Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Look at AZ, Nevada and the House races overall. Rosen won in Nevada when a bag of ballots showed up by mail. They are still trying to count enough votes to knock out Kari Lake. Vance is just as clean, his life an open book, and if Trump falls, Vance will go ahead and declassify everything. There is no way out of the box for them, which is why they are all so quiet. Did he give us Biden? I think it is becoming increasingly obvious that we've been living for many years in a system that is almost entirely controlled by our deep state or what Mike Benz calls the Blob. For years they have chosen who would be our leaders and those they chose were completely obedient to the permanent government in DC. Ukraine is a perfect example. It became a priority to have them in NATO under Bush and that continued under Obama. Biden and McCain were all over that place before, during and after the color revolution and then Biden took us to war there. Did any of us ever vote to go to war in Ukraine? Over NATO? Trump is the first to not be beholden to them. That's why they hate him so much. He can wreck their world if they don't wreck him first. Posted by: JackStraw at November 09, 2024 09:57 AM (LkLld) 309

Keep in mind, a host of parasites, whether nematodes or internal/external arthropods have about a 2 week life cycle. A followup course of Ivermectin is necessary. What is striking, what I learned about Ivermectin - leave Covid out of it, we take better care of our livestock and pets than we do people. I think it was the governor of Kansas - don’t quote me on that - banned Doctors from prescribing it during the lockdowns. Since when do Governors get to practice Medicine? Posted by: Angzarr the Cromulent at November 09, 2024 09:56 AM (XMwZJ) --- I know people like them. Specifically, my parents. They live in an alternate universe, fully realized, completely sealed from reality. Every interaction has a different meaning. The Dems are really good at sustaining this. Trump's rallies were portrayed as disasters, and the Dem accounts only showed people leaving and pretended that they were pissed off. No, people leave after the rally. They don't live in the arena. Some leave early to avoid traffice, but all these people saw was disaffected Trump voters being turned off by hateful rhetoric. And then there were the fake anecdotes and testimonials. Everyone knew Trump voters who had rejected him and turned to Harris. Republicans Against Trump spread these lies daily and they were gratefully believed. A lot of these voters are old and unreachable. They will vote Dem till they die and then keep voting Dem until the rolls are cleaned up. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H.
Posted by: JackStraw It becomes obvious - once you see it, it can't be unseen. When the house bailed on fiscal accountability but passed funding for Ukraine, and cheered while waving Ukraine flags, I knew that Epstein's list was still active. Marn'i Washington was obviously nominated to the big leagues from one of the farm teams, like Chicago, where this kind of discrimination against Republicans is unremarkable SOP. She never thought twice about it, because, back home, "what are you going to do about it" protected her. I'm absolutely sure that when she wrote that order, she had no moral qualms; she never thought about it in moral terms, it was just playing the game.
I doubt that she realizes that she has the exact moral blindspot that allowed the anti-black discrimination that festered in this country for years. Posted by: buddhaha at November 09, 2024 10:06 AM (lbb+E) 329

Right now it's the small ones, but the demographics are baked in the cake. Less kids = less students. Accelerating this process is a renewed emphasis on skilled trades and the return of good-paying manufacturing jobs. I don't even recall the NPV compact measure in 2020. I was reading just now and the 2020 ballot was a citizen amendment trying to repeal what the Colorado Ds in the statehouse had done on their own.
Posted by: PaleRider, ******** You are correct. The legislature passed a bill signing on to the NPV compact and there was a citizen initiative trying to overturn it (Prop 113), which failed on the ballot. I worked on the petition signature drive for that one. So a Yes vote on 113 was a No to joinning the NPV. Posted by: muldoon at November 09, 2024 10:36 AM (991eG) 405

A number of liberal arts colleges are quietly engaged in affirmative action for men, since so few males want to attend them. The belief is that if you let your school get above 60% female, then the women stop wanting to attend as well. Then she held onto it in the face of the Pelosi cabal by threatening them both with racism (see Kamala's tweet on it) and more important threatening to kick up a giant FEC stink over Biden's campaign cash. she really was the one in the best position to screw everybody over no matter what. Mis A...what a lovely idea to have this prayer list. I will pray for all and recognize so many names from my former 'ette life six years ago.
I am so sorry for all on the list. Prayers are powerful for comfort and strength through the Holy Spirit. And these prayers are felt by those who request them. I am also giddy from early Wednesday morning. Many prayers answered that day! I was prepared to simply live with God's will, but was thrilled out of my toddler mind of the results! My going MIA was mostly due to a cross-country move from FL to the mountains in the beautiful West, where my husband and I met in college. FL and the Atlantic were beautiful, but we missed autumn our first year there. About 3yrs of remodel. This was in 2015 and I think I was still here at Ace's place til 2018 when our first grandchild was born. A Nana lobotomy and I fell so in love I did not post much til recently. Our granddaugher is 3yrs old and I can see again through baby and toddler fog of joy. We hope for more. Play with them weekly and love this role of our life! I am getting sappy and causing nausea, I know, but it is awesome to have the privilege to greet these little people into our lives.
