I voted early in which the sample ballot gave me time to review and darken in my circles. Duval County in Jacksonville decided to hand out a scantron QR code which I had to insert into the machine to start voting. this was then printed with my selections and a new printout was received and taken to the scanner. reminder I had a circle darkening sample ballot. 3 different steps to do 1 function. republican elections commissioner Jerry Holland should be ashamed but of course he's not

It should be made a federal offense to print and then give such unofficial ballots to other persons. Eah official printer gets given an alphanumeric id. We are all aware that most of the 2020 cases were dismissed--before any evidence was heard--for lack of standing.
I want to remind you all of the insane, impossible level of proof that the few courts who allowed any discussion of the evidence. In 240 years of litigation, not just in civil trials, but especially in election cases, the standard to proceed to trial is often called "a scintilla of evidence" or "raise a question of fact." Not in 2020. But the judges didn't say that, absolutely didn't discuss the level of proof required to proceed--they all just said, "It's not enough." Hundreds of affidavits of eyewitnesses--not enough. Objective analysis by data scientists of the impossible anomalies in the vote reporting--not enough. Reports by political scientists that the voter participation rates were, by themselves, proof of fraud--not enough. Statements by legal experts on all the elections laws that were broken, ignored, changed or mis-applied which absolutely tainted the outcome--not enough. The judges were basically demanding that all the people involved in the fraud must swear to their crimes under oath, then and only then, could the Republicans proceed with the case. Somehow, the redistricting is where the problem occurred. As far as the "check in" terminal is concerned, our district doesn't exist. The township is 48 square miles and the districts are constantly changing due to population shifts. Going back in about an hour to check. We went to Austin this weekend for my youngest brother's Celebration of Life. He died in September, but this was the earliest his family could reserve a venue large enough to accommodate all the people who would want to come. Afterwards, we estimated there were 600+ people there. He had had time to write his own obituary which they included in the program. It meant a lot to hear his voice again as he shared his last thoughts in print. Family and friends shared their memories about how he touched their lives. He was a man of boundless energy and curiosity, kindness and humor. People were laughing as well as crying at the C stories- of which there are a million. There was this guy who claims his analysis of the betting markets, PredictIt, say that Harris will win; or that it's tied (he doesn't award EV by state allocation). She is leading there one by 2 points. He says he relies upon that one because it allows smaller bets, which he assumes means greater participation. Except, PredictIt doesn't, can't, disclose the total amount of bets. While Polymarket has over $2 billion in bets. And the only number I could find were estimates that there were $1 million in bets on PredictIt in 2016. PS: A lot of crypto bros joined Trump. I guarantee they have much better analysis of the markets than anyone. Explaining why Trump team recently said the betting markets are a good predictor. "How was the airshow and museum?
Posted by: one hour sober" The museum on Sunday was perfect. Went in at opening at 9 and left a little before closing at 3:30. Not crowded at all. That was one of my main reasons for the trip. I've been to plenty of airshows before. We did go to the airshow Saturday about noon after most of the traffic had dissipated, so got in quick and were one of the first ones out. Others I know of waited up to 4 hours to get in Friday and Saturday. Posted by: fd at November 05, 2024 07:58 AM (vFG9F) 193

Per breitbart final poll has Trump leading in all 7 key swing states.
Trump/Vance has beaten Harri/Balz for quite a while, for the past few weeks Trump/Vance is contesting to win over the fraud. These polls are bought and paid for by professional propagandists for the sole purpose of keeping the race close so that the campaigns will throw more money into ad revenue - all of which the campaign manager, who is ordering the polls, gets significant vig. Win or lose, the bookie always gets their cut. They make money in the volume. The bookie's job is to increase volume. Posted by: Unknown Drip Under Pressure at November 05, 2024 08:10 AM (rHxhM) 243

A lot of commentary on Peanut is falling short. It's not entirely about a bloated government with the "wrong priorities." Going after the pets, especially noteworthy ones which seem to bring joy and wonder to a wider swath of people, is actually intentional. The war against pets has been quietly waging for some time, often under the guise of humanitarianism and public safety. PETA kills 80% of the pets in "rescues," and its leaders have been quoted as saying we should not own any animals as pets. The movement to restrict and inhibit pet ownership is occurring in multiple ways, e.g., veterinarian costs are skyrocketing. Adopting an animal is now about as onerous as adopting a human child. The CDC just banned the import of any dog under six months of age, thereby inflicting a serous blow to a lot of K9 training in the states. No well-supported reason for this ban whatsoever, just an exercise of power to damage an industry.

All states must certify their results by D6. The electors need to get their votes in to the current VP on D25. Three things bother me about the Peanut story.
1. The guy bottle fed the young Peanut for eight months. That's like 42 years in squirrel time. Shouldn't he have been transitioned to Purina Squirrel Chow long before then? B. When Peanut first returned to the house after the initial release back into the wild he had "half his tail missing", yet all the pictures I've seen show a pretty dang full bushy tail. Do squirrel tails magically regenerate. iii. Peanut's owner made $800,000 in one month with an Only Fans gay porn site. My grandma told me I should go into gay porn but I just had to be a rebel and go to medical school. Posted by: muldoon at November 05, 2024 08:24 AM (991eG) 307

FWIW one factor I haven't seen discussed is that in this election cycle, the Democrats are motivated by negative energy. They are voting against Trump, not for their candidate.
That energy is very hard to sustain, and is subject to despair. Years ago, Republicans were plagued by the same problem. They were voting against Obama, not for McCain or Romney. This time, Trump has turned the Republicans' energy positive. That's motivating and sustainable. This will make the difference in turnout. AtlasIntel which allegedly had the best results in 2020 polling had Trump winning all seven swing states. If that happens and is large enough and gives Republicans coattails, the shift in the Senate could be large. Five of the swing states , Penn, NV MI and AZ have Rep senate candidates closing on dem incumbents or ahead. Combine that with Justice in WV and Sheehy in Mon and you could see 55-56 Republican senators. You could also see Moreno in Ohio win. Praying for Hung Cao

The bar code on the sample ballot gets kicked out. entering the information manually failed as well. The two other districts are working. After nearly and hour, we had to leave and make another attempt later. So much for high tech voting. Back in 2020, they still used the voter registry book. You printed your name, signed it. received a voting slip, went into the machine and voted. No problem. Now, you check in at the table and your info is entered into a terminal. Did everyone see the story about how Nixon spent election day in 1960v? After he voted in Whittier, he jumped into a convertible with his single secret service agent and a LAPD cop, and drove to Tijuana for lunch with the mayor, before driving up to LA to await election results.
The mayor would recount later that Nixon dined on enchiladas, tacos, tamales and German beer. “We’re honored that on one of the most important days of his life, he took time to visit his neighbors across the border,” the mayor said. “I was especially pleased that he could converse with me in Spanish.” Posted by: Huck Follywood at November 05, 2024 08:38 AM (27K+2) 370
72 Computer issues already here in our district. Our entire district isn't being recognized in the database. Couldn't make it past that first step. Lots of pissed off people.

Morning all. I think today will be glorious. For those who fear, and if even correctly, one of my favorite poems:
Say not the struggle nought availeth, The labours and the wounds are vain, The enemy faints not, nor faileth, And as things have been they remain. If hopes were dupes, fears may be liars, It may be, in yon smoke concealed, Your comrades chase e'en now the fliers, And, but for you, possess the field. For while the tired waves, vainly breaking Seem here no painful inch to gain, Far back through creeks and inlets making, Comes silent, flooding in, the main. And not by eastern windows only, When daylight comes, comes in the light, In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly, But westward, look, the land is bright. Fight! Fight! Fight! Onward to victory! With the clock ticking down to Election Day, Democrats are reportedly panicking over abysmally low voter turnout, especially in crucial battleground states. Leaked data reveals a troubling gap in urban voter participation—traditionally a Democrat stronghold—that could spell disaster for Kamala Harris’s campaign and the party at large. With President Trump’s campaign outpacing Democrat efforts in absentee ballots and early voting, the data paints a troubling picture for Democrats. According to the leaked memo from Tim Saler, Chief Data Consultant for the Republican National Committee, Democrats are facing a staggering deficit in urban turnout across battleground states. This is not just a minor blip; it signals a catastrophic decline in support for Harris, or maybe those weren’t real “people” in 2020. Posted by: AlaBAMA at November 05, 2024 08:42 AM (RUMEY) 397

>>> 294 A lot of commentary on Peanut is falling short.

112, blaster,
Both the due process clause and equal protection clauses as well as the 15th and 19th Amendments apply to the voting process. Due process aka law of the land requires governments to follow their own law faithfully. Equal protection clause means similarly situated individuals have to be treated the same under law. 15th and 19th are obvious in that they extend the franchise explicitly. So yes, the Bill of Rights does require fair elections and the 14th applies that explicitly to states. There is no 'But Democrat' exceptions to election laws and adhering to them. Repeatedly, in many contexts, Courts have ruled that government and its agents are bound by the laws they make. Posted by: whig's phone at November 05, 2024 08:49 AM (ctrM5) 450

I went to a lovely RC church for the rosary, but couldn't stay for Mass ( and as I've remarked, I do not take the Eucharist when I do go to Mass ). The Mass was about to begin when I left. There were probably about 50 people there. I think that's a higher turnout than they usually get at a morning Mass, so I expect that some of them may be there to pray for the election. Good for them!

On Monday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “The Record,” Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz reacted to 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris running ads with different messages on Israel aimed at different groups by stating that Harris “basically is saying there are fine people on both sides of what happened on October 7.”
Dershowitz said, “Well, she basically is saying there are fine people on both sides of what happened on October 7. She has praised some of the protesters who have called Israel’s response genocide. It’s like saying there are fine people on the side of 9/11. No, there aren’t. There are terrorists, and there are democracies. And she has to give the same message in Michigan as she does in Pennsylvania, and she risks losing everybody on the ground that she’s a hypocrite. And she has given messages out of all sides of her mouth on so many issues. But, on this issue, it’s so important, and she doesn’t have the courage to stand up. And [Walz] has been much worse. He has pandered to the protesters in ways that are completely unacceptable.” Posted by: SMOD at November 05, 2024 08:55 AM (thHUX) 489

I worked in broadcast engineering for 35 years, so I am very familiar with today's technology. And very familiar with the issues that can appear. The problem seems to be the constant redistricting in our county. Hell, the houses across the street from us are in a different ward and district. Somehow, the redistricting is where the problem occurred. As far as the "check in" terminal is concerned, our district doesn't exist. The township is 48 square miles and the districts are constantly changing due to population shifts. Going back in about an hour to check. Seems to be a very localized problem at those two "check-in" terminals. The other two tables/districts were fine.
_____________ They didn't have to wait until election day morning to test the system. Everything worked fine during early voting? Harris County TX and Maricopa County AZ big had big election day morning snafus in 2020, mainly in Republican leaning districts. In Harris County where I lived, it kept The Commandante Lena Hidalgo in office as the County Chief Executive. No, I don't attribute it to incompetence. Presuming Trump wins with an R congress this has to be any easy legislative win. This keeps happening and there is no possible answer to it beyond the intent to cheat. Digging further in, TIPP asked voters: “In general, how SATISFIED are you with the direction the country is going in at this time?”
Once again, overall the numbers are dismal, with just 34% saying they were either “very satisfied” (12%) or “somewhat satisfied” (22%). But a hefty 63% reported being either “not very” satisfied (24%) or “not at all” satisfied (38%). And yes, again, the political schism seen now daily across the nation and in the legacy media was once again visible in the data. So far, it seems to be working. It's almost as if the people running the party now have brains and can think ahead. Posted by: Archimedes at November 05, 2024 09:22 AM (xCA6C) 693
Not to make light of suicide, but why spend $10k to punch your own ticket? Find a high bridge, parking garage, etc. Lay down in train tracks. Eat a .45, or if you don't want the mess - OD. All can be done a whole lot cheaper than 10k.

I feel an awesome surge of confidence in this election's outcome. Feels like the country is asserting itself after a long dormancy. We shall see if this holds true, or I am compelled to apologize.

24 Can anybody recommend a good, comprehensive summary of the 2020 cheat, the what and how of the democrat strategy? Thanks
Let My People Go is a good documentary about the cheat in 2020 (also about the Covid lockdown and the J6 political prisoners). It also has some general suggestions about 2024, but nothing too specific (how could it?). It can be streamed at Letmypeoplego.movie Or if you are 29, you can even buy it on disc. CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Many voters in Champaign County are not able to vote this morning after an issue that has brought most polling locations down. The Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons confirmed to WCIA this morning that there are network issues that are preventing people from voting. He told us there is no timeline to be resolved. He states it is all polling locations.

They didn't have to wait until election day morning to test the system.
Posted by: Evil Incarnate at November 05, 2024 08:55 AM (YrqgQ) The two "tablets" on the district 23 sign in table were from the early voting sites in Somerset county. They are free standing with internal scanner and drives programmed to be specific to a certain district. The had were brought in from an early voting site from another area of the township (one of many). Another district from another part of the township was loaded into these tablets. A quick reloading of the drives by a rep from Somerset county fixed the issue. They scanned my sample ballot, I signed in and all was fine. Voted, checked my choices twice, and posted my ballot. Was on my way in no time. Posted by: thatcrazyjerseyguy at November 05, 2024 09:28 AM (iODuv) 707

694 18-1, yes. Dem model of turnout is absentee and early voting, not election day. EV calculations are tricky so we use a proxy of party registration or primary voting to guess at the electorate. Dems equalled or exceeded Dems in EV and absentees in most swing states. Election Day has traditionally been more GOP friendly but it all comes down to turnout.

Beginning in June 2024, Philippi told a confidential human source (CHS) about his desire to commit a mass shooting at a YMCA facility located in or around Columbia, Tennessee. In July 2024, Philippi told another CHS about the impact of attacking large interstate substations and said that attacking several substations would “shock the system,” causing other substations to malfunction. Philippi researched previous attacks on electric substations and concluded that attacking with firearms would not be sufficient. Philippi, therefore, planned to use a drone with explosives attached to it and to fly the drone into the substation.
In September 2024, Philippi drove with undercover employees (UCEs) of the FBI to an electric substation previously researched and targeted by Philippi, and Philippi conducted reconnaissance of the substation. While driving, Philippi ordered a plastic explosive composition known as C-4 and other explosives from the UCEs. Philippi later purchased black powder to be used in pipe bombs, which Philippi intended to use during the attack on the substation. Posted by: SMOD at November 05, 2024 09:52 AM (RHGPo) 722

Husband and I voted on October 19 in Oregon and I just got a letter this weekend that my ballot was rejected because they didn't like my signature. So I had to sign an affidavit and return it along with a copy of my driver license. Wondering if Oregon is trying to pretend that they care about election integrity? If they really cared they would abolish the vote by mail and require ID from everyone at the polling site.
