Hugh Hewitt Quits the Washington Post On-Camera and Storms Off the Set Calling the Paper a "Unfair Election Ad"

Hugh Hewitt finally showed he's got a pair.

Definitely worth your watch. Gay black DEI propagandist Jonathan Capeheart and evil prog witch Ruth Marcus complain bitterly about Trump complaining about election irregularities -- without mentioning what Trump is complaining about.

Specifically, he was complaining about Democrat election officials sending people home on the last day of early in-person voting. The law says that if you're in line, the election site must stay open until you've voted. But the Democrat thugs broke the law, stopped the voting, and tried to keep Trump from picking up votes in Bucks County, PA.

The RNC -- not Trump -- went to court over this. The court agreed the election officials had broke the law, and ordered them to reopen in-person voting for a couple of more days to accomodate the people they had denied the right to vote to.

None of that is mentioned by Capeheart and Marcus. Which prompted Hugh Hewitt to justifiably rage-quit.

He didn't just quit the show -- he quit the failing propaganda outlet the Washington Post.

Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt resigned from the Washington Post after feuding Friday with two of the newspaper's liberal columnists during a live talk show -- calling it "the most unfair election ad I've ever been a part of."

Hewitt stormed off the set during the online show the "First Look" with liberal columnists Jonathan Capehart and Ruth Marcus that veered into whether former President Trump was "laying the groundwork" to contest Tuesday's election if he lost.

After being cut off by Capehart and accused by the MSNBC host of spouting misinformation, Hewitt ripped out his earpiece and said: "I'm done. This is the most unfair election ad I've ever been a part of."

Very related: Trump is suing the Washington Post for an illegal in-kind donation to Kamala Harris's campaign.

An "in-kind" donation is one not of money, but of some other thing of value.

In this case: The Washington Post has been buying and running ads on FaceBook repeating old hit piece stories on Trump, and positive stories about Kamala Harris.

This is obviously running ads against Trump and for Harris -- but without observing campaign donation limits, or even reporting them as donations.

Now, the Washington Post will say they're running these anti-Trump, pro-Kamala ads not to interfere in elections, but to woo back the 20% of their basket-case liberal subscribers who rage-quit the paper. They want to show that despite Bezos' decision to not endorse Kamala, they are just as braindead leftwing NPC crazyparrots as their readers.

I don't know if the law here requires "intent" or allows a defense of "well yes we ran election ads but not because we wanted to influence the election, but only to placate our quite provably insane readers."

Here is the complaint, filed by Harmeet Dhillon's lawfirm.

The Washington Post recently announced it would not endorse a presidential candidate, adecision the Post's owner defended on the basis that "Presidential endorsements do nothing to tipthe scales of an election."

Yet, on October 30, 2024, the news website Semafor published a report titled "Washington Post pays to boost stories critical of Trump as subscribers flee." The Semafor article discloses that, starting "on Monday," October 28, 2024--just over a week before Election Day--The Washington Post has "aggressively ramped up its paid advertising campaign, boosting dozens of articles related to the election."

As Semafor reported, this is no simple commercial marketing campaign.4: "While the
[Post] articles about Vice President Kamala Harris were relatively neutral in tone"--if not flattering--"and focused on her ... digital strategy, her policy proposals, and her chances of winning ..., the articles that the Post paid to highlight about [President] Trump told a different story." In fact, Semafor reported, the Washington Post has paid to "boost[] multiple critical articles" of President Trump through this sudden, last-minute advertising campaign.

The Federalist reports on another attempt to interfere in the elections: Kamala Harris's campaign is organizing efforts to mass-flag true statements about her to get them demoted or "community noted" to death, while also mass-upvoting positive stories about her.

BUSTED: The Inside Story Of How The Kamala Harris Campaign Manipulates Reddit (And Breaks The Rules) To Control The Platform

Part one of an investigation into how the Harris-Walz campaign is manipulating social media sites to artificially boost their popularity, spread election disinformation, and skirt election laws.

For years, many have speculated that Democrat political candidates may be filling social media with fake posts to deceive the public and make their campaigns and causes seem more popular than they are. These claims have often been dismissed, citing that Democrat voters are already more likely to be on the internet compared to their not-as-tech-savvy Republican counterparts. This would suggest that the constant flood of left-leaning content on websites such as Reddit was merely a reflection of the userbase. However, many people simply couldn't shake the feeling that something was just off, especially in the run up to major elections. Despite my fervent belief that something was amiss, I never had any direct proof that Democrats were actively manipulating social media.

That all changed two weeks ago, when X user @jessiprincey replied to one of my posts with a screenshot from a Discord server, seemingly related to the Harris-Walz campaign:

I immediately messaged Jess, and soon received a link to the Discord server where this operation was taking place. What I'd find there went far beyond algorithmic manipulation. I discovered massive "astroturfing" campaigns operating across multiple platforms. "Astroturfing" is a political and marketing term that describes creating swarms of coordinated and/or paid messages and posts to deceptively create the illusion of support from ordinary people. Essentially, "astroturfing" is the opposite of grassroots support.

In this case, there is a team of volunteers who spam social media with posts that specifically promote Kamala. They then have other users pretend to be random individuals who just happened across the post and decided to comment. It's no different than a shady company paying a team to write a bunch of fake Amazon reviews about their product to make it appear to be a better and more popular product than it is.

On Amazon, that might result in a product getting more sales. In a U.S. election, it could mean that the falsely advertised candidate receives more votes. This behavior is not only incredibly dishonest, but in many cases, it directly violates the Terms of Service they've agreed to by operating on certain social media platforms.

In part one of a three-part series, we're going to look at how the Harris-Walz campaign has manipulated the popular website Reddit, one of the top social media sites with 500 million users, to publish campaign propaganda.

The Tucker-Trump event last night was epic and wonderful. I'd never seen Trump or Tucker or Charlie Kirk or RFK Jr or Nicole Shanahan speak live before, and it was a real privilege. These people have massive charisma, each in their own way. Especially Tucker, who can speak to 19,000 people and have it come across like he's speaking to you in his own living room, and Trump, who is utterly unlike anyone I've ever met, a natural leader. He's also really funny in person, in a way I had only understood partially from video.

Of course all the media got out of it was another lie, deliberately misinterpreting a slice of Trump's remarks about Liz Cheney's moronish (the bad kind) warhawkness.

And I saw what happened.

The upvotes steadily climbed to 9 within the first three minutes which was huge considering that anything that wasnt fully pro Kamala was being downvoted to hell with everything else being up voted. That means upvotes for that time were outvoting any downvoters and the comment was going to receive exposure.

Within 8 more minutes it got downvoted to -30 and into oblivion, despite being completely pro Taylor (I know a lot about early Country Taylor even though she's a dumb owned cunt now, sorry) and just neutral about the endorsement.

That is election fuckery and being done fraudulently, and likely with bots, and I wanted to see it for myself.

Even the most left wing reporters and editors back then would not dare to write or say what supposed news organizations are saying now.

Some of it is so fundamentally unfair and a vector for fraud, they say even the most pedestrian voter is pissed about it. 87 Illegally accepted votes by an "election board" in Minnesota, could mean who knows how many fraudulent votes:
---------------------------

A total of four days remain for Hennepin County to get into compliance with the law. As a practical matter it’s already far too late. As the Star Tribune reports in its story, quoting state Republican party chair David Hann:

He noted that so far this election cycle, 263,435 absentee ballots have been received by the county and 209,306 were accepted by the absentee ballot board.

The Star Tribune observes that the county has some 815,000 registered voters. So 1/3 of the county’s voters have already voted absentee. And 1/4 of the county’s total votes have already been accepted by an illegal ballot board.

Epstein (Democrat research) already showed just their search engine makes big differences, changes elections. More people may now realize they are leftist and dirty, but still hard to get id of their vast influence.

that doesn't even count the actual machine vote flipping and a couple million illegals registered with a shopping center as their address. But Dems will count every illegal vote, some of them counted several times.

Acting like 800,000 early votes vanishing from 2020 to 2024 is nothing and just easily done away with enters the realm of magical thinking.

I mean, it'd be Philly (with a total of 1,000,000 registered voters) essentially creating, last second and without any paper trail, 80% of its entire registered voter pool, no matter how many had already voted (133,000 or so).

A majority of people from all political backgrounds believe 2020 was fishy at best. They also have no intention of waiting weeks for a winner. What do they do? They turn out massively, which is what we are seeing, but only on the republican side.

Add to that the fact that the democrat candidate was appointed after a coup, and the fact that less than a quarter of the population thinks the country is headed in the right direction, and that adds up to an ugly race.

It seems to line up with What Sean Spicer said. There is no way Trump loses a legitimate election right now.

Everyone on reddit knows that the entire site has been taken over by bots. Especially after the great cleansing after the 2016 election where they banned anything even remotely pro-Trump, claiming that the trump memes in r/thedonald ... swayed the election? I don't know.

And it is absolutely noticeable during american election season how much bot / political manipulation is going on.

I often wonder if ANY of the top comments are by real people. Part of the reason I rarely use reddit outside of specific subs that are specific to some of my hobbys.

This is definitely an in-kind political contribution. Facebook, if I'm recalling correctly, banned political advertising on their platform starting on 28 Oct 24. If the WaPo is putting this stuff up on or after that date, they are using their efforts to drum up business for themselves to mask pro-Kamala ad campaigns. They're skirting the rules to do this.

201 As an interesting thought in all this the best possible outcome is not that the left under does the cheat and Trump wins.

The best outcome might not even be the left gets caught blatantly cheating but Trump still wins.

Likely the best outcome is that the left gets caught blatantly cheating putting Harris over the top and a popular uprising results and then they win.

Its an open question whether our Republic can be saved by a mere Trumpian political victory - he's a reformer not a revolutionary - and the last option, by far the riskiest, is actually the most likely to result in real fundamental reform.

I wonder if the power brokers in the Junta realize this and THAT is why they aren't trying to repeat the 2020 Steal?

1. Barack Obama
2. Al Gore

4. Mitch McConnell

Al is #2 precisely because his Bush v. Gore stunt made it ok to both interfere with and contest the election process. He injected distrust into our system bigly, and he did it for a cause he knew was lost, and in the most dishonest way possible. Far more corrosive to our system than the global warming movement that he popularized, which was damaging enough to the world.

In fact, I believe that the disparity between any demographic as it relates to any voting behavior or pattern is due overwhelmingly to vote harvesting and fraud.

218 Nobody really thinks that 95% of blacks physically vote for Dumocraps, do they? You can't 95% of any demographic to agree running water is a good thing.

Maybe this a Pauline Kael type thing but the black people I know personally aren't particularly political. The most political people I know are AWFLs because they will not shut up about whatever the leftist talking point of the day is.

But the FNM/government tells me black people vote at a much, much, much higher rate for lefties than affluent white women do...

219 The smart and lovely Andrea Burkhart updated us on the Delphi murder trial proceedings yesterday.

Bottom line: the State's case rested on a flat note. The "confessions", which were supposed to reveal that Richard Allen knew details of the murder that were only known to the killer, revealed only one "fact": a white van.
That's it.
And that "fact" is suspicious.

It is clear that Richard Allen was tortured with over a year of solitary-plus-suicide-watch, andit broke him mentally to the point that he was babbling anything.

Big time 8th Amendment violations.

And the MSM coverage is hideously deceitful (big surprise).

And, Andrea looks hot in orange.

They’ll sue and 24 hours later the court will reluctantly allow them back in, after it’s too late to do anything about it. Once the ballots are intermingled, those votes are secured for Harris.

Anyway, kicking out poll watchers is mostly misdirection to keep attention off of where the real fraud is: the millions of harvested ballots coming in from inner city precincts.

For my money, the worst political actors in my lifetime are:

1. Barack Obama
2. Al Gore
3. Joe Biden

I could go with this, although I might bump McConnell up one and FJB down one, since FJB is just a puppet. Whoever is in 4th place would drop off, though, to make room for George W Bush at #2, whose administration gave us the Patriot Act and made so much of what's going on today not just possible, but inevitable.

Almost any workplace that handles cash or other valuables has multiple levels of security to at least REDUCE the amount of cheat that can occur.

Thankfully, she does a quick recap at the beginning.

Her coverage and commentary is incredibly, detailed, but it does go long.

Her live views have been steadily increasing to a high of over 10k last night.

She is probably the best one covering the trial, but to be fair, I have not watched Lawyer Lee and the Mottas' coverage ( those are two others I know are present in the courtroom).

It is public record in every state and both campaigns (and others) get voter history files updated at least once per day from the SoS offices. When you register to vote, you don't have privacy over those records anymore including address, contact information, etc.

The information varies by state and some charge stiff prices for voter history information but it is readily available for GOTV operations.

330 In Pennsylvania, since we know the campaigns know who was voting, we must assume the effort to shut down early voting centers was because the target audience for the R's - less likely voters - was going too strong, another wildcard. It would suggest the dems assumed the Rs would play a slightly different early voting strategy. This was not an early voting strategy, this was a maximize the vote strategy by setting up your likely voters to do what they always do and get your less likely voters in and counted. I expect the R day of vote to generally be higher than expected.
