We HAVE TO WIN THE HOUSE in this election. Otherwise Raskin is plotting to try to use the 14th amendment to keep Trump out of office. Of course it does not apply as Trump has never even been charged with insurrection, let alone convicted, and the impeachment for that failed in the Senate. However the fact that Raskin's plot is a "tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, and signifying nothing" doesn't matter. My understanding of generational wealth Is wealth so great that it is completely self-sustaining over many generations. I point to the Kennedys, the Fords, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk as examples on the extreme end of the wealth scale. How far this pushes down in terms a family wealth. I can't effectively say, but it would be a net worth probably in the tens of millions of dollars. For us schlubs who have done well in life, which I define as we live comfortable lives, have money for retirement and can have a comparatively small inheritance to pass on, I hardly see as generational wealth as most of that will be dissipated who once passed on to the next generation. Still having something to pass on is a foundational aspect that builds over time if fortunate and what that is precisely is how to be successful people in big and small ways. Money for the most part has nothing to do with this. And most certainly this generational wealth has nothing to do with the false assertion of white privilege is what makes this possible. What makes it possible is individual freedom and making good choices over time.

Kentucky man TJ Hoover II was thrashing on the table & "crying visibly" as doctors prepared to remove his organs.
Before the process, the family raised concerns that Hoover was alive because his eyes seemed open and he looked around while being wheeled to the operating room.
They were told that it was a "common reflex."
Hoover had been declared "brain de*d" after an overdose.
When Hoover started thrashing and crying, he was sedated and doctors *still* planned on going forward with the organ recovery, according to NPR.
The transplant was ultimately cancelled leading to several employees quitting.
The Kentucky Attorney General and US Health Services Resources Administration are now reportedly investigating the incident.

The trick they pulled here in Harris County was that the ballot required 2 sheets of ballot paper. So the Expert Election Expert who was a Expert from DC sent each precinct the number of ballot equal to the number of voter averages from the last 2 elections. Knowing that it would be approx. 50% of the blank ballots needed.

1. The certification uses the new Congress.
2. There are specific rules for how to handle cases where there are objections.
3. Absent sufficient cheating such that the makeup of the new House has a Democrat majority in at least 26 states, Trump would end up being certified.

The problem as I see it is the trial lawyers are solely owned by the (D) party. If the sexual abuse occurred in Nebraska my 'quick read' is that the victims can sue even though it occurred 30 years ago. Finding a lawyer to take the case could be the biggest problem.
If Walz is worth a million it seems a lawyer might be happy with a third of that.

I think that's very low. no one counts them and they don't participate in census or anything. they are moving up to where our cabin is and filling up towns that have been empty for ages! they're fantastic neighbors btw. I could definitely see 180k or more being here. PA is a big state and a lot of it is still forested ... they go in grab a cabin and start clearing and fixing things up.

Last night at a fundraiser dinner for a women’s shelter I volunteer with, one of the women who had a history of drug alcohol abuse gave a testimony about how going to jail (and finding Jesus!) was the best thing for her. A neighbor called the cops on her husband while he was beating her in a nightly drug and alcohol induced fit. She lied to the cops that he wasn’t home. He got 30 days in jail for domestic abuse and she got 6 months, which she was angry about at the time, but last night said “it was “the best thing that happened” to her. She is now sober, married, with kids, owns a home, and volunteers.
Another similar vein; a girl from a low income school district where I subbed called me a gestapo after I sent her to principal’s office (he told me to send them without discussion if one misbehaved), then I ran into her several years later - she was volunteering at the same women’s shelter. She didn’t remember me, but said she served in the marines and the structure helped her get free from the cycle she was in. Amazing.

We bailed out not long after it was just music as my sister wanted to go, I had to get up before 4am but even after a short trip home wife had it on internet and Trump was still there. Heard some got autographs so wish did stay.

Granted their population is increasing rapidly, I saw one estimate that it went from 80,000+ in 2020 to 90,000+ in 2024. But these numbers are total Amish, not voting age, and virtually none of the recent increase would be.adults. I still think 180,000 new Amish voting registrations has to be wildly overstated. It's not like they declare their religion when they register to vote.

I think it was pre-W and goes all the way back to the fall of the Berlin Wall. That was the existential crisis of the military industrial intelligence foreign policy complex.
IMO the fall of the Berlin Wall led directly to Gulf Storm and I 100% believe that the USA gave a wink and nod to Saddam invading Kuwait for that purpose to justify the MIC existence.

I'm an "unenrolled" voter up here in Maine and so I get texts and emails from both of them.
Truthfully they're equally as bad and it makes me wonder what kind of person would actually respond to the kind of heuristic language both use. Although I will say with Trump fundraising texts its more like "WE NEED TO HIT THIS TARGET BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT OR KAMALA WILL CLAIM VICTORY!"
Either way, Gmail sends all of the emails to spam, and all of the texts go to spam so I actively have to go find them.

Kamala Harris by intent showed up late for the interview.
She quit early. She filibustered all that was asked, lost her temper, and serially interrupted Bret Baier— all in lieu of answering a single question. She grimaced, scowled, and proved as petulant and unlikeable as she was vacuous. We were asked to believe absurdly that the currently disastrous Biden-Harris border, crime wave, and economy were all the out-of-office Trump’s fault.
In contrast, J. D. Vance in his debate rendered the smears empty and showed the nation he was a nice guy with a razor-sharp mind. Harris in just 20 some minutes dispelled stereotypes too—she is not a pleasant but empty apparatchik, but rather an off-putting, disagreeable scowl.

If this eleventh-hour catch-up media blitz was supposed to show us the real under-appreciated Harris to win over the nation and stop her campaign’s hemorrhaging, it has only achieved the opposite. She’s in a doom loop: she cannot forever hide from the media and yet will lose the election if she is interviewed without a teleprompter.
She will probably fire the guy who dreamed up the Fox interview disaster - even if it was her idea.

I've posted on this before. The Left seems to think that soldiers are all order-obeying automatons who will do whatever they're told, mostly because Leftists don't know any actual soldiers.
While certainly deploying troops to put down a riot is within the mission set, the more you stray from that mission the less enthusiastic the order-following will be in the junior ranks. At some point, taken to an extreme, there would be mutiny. That is known within the chain of command, and it acts as a self-limiting feature. So an order to "go shoot those MAGAbillies!" might be something that Biden or Austin would give, but it's unlikely to turn out the way they think it would.
