Clearly, going on Fox News was a Hail Mary, and it was bad. You could tell right away it wasn't going to go well for her. She was evasive, often filibustering with word salads to run down the clock and prevent Baier from asking questions she didn't want to answer. The shouting was a terrible look for her. So was talking over Baier, refusing to let him finish asking questions, and then proceeding to pivot away and respond with her rehearsed lines, even when they didn't actually answer the question she was asked. If she didn't want to answer a question, she just didn't. And she got nasty at times. She even refused to apologize to the families of women who were assaulted and killed by illegal immigrants allowed into the country thanks to Biden-Harris border policies... It's hard to see how anyone could think this interview went well for her. It was really something to watch. What do you think? Did her Hail Mary work, or did she just blow up her campaign?Really, how bad was it?
Four Kamala Harris staffers waved their arms pleading to end Harris’s much-anticipated but widely panned Fox News Channel’s Special Report interview, Bret Baier revealed Wednesday night. Baier, who interviewed Kamala Harris, made the shocking revelation during the post-interview broadcast, saying he had many questions he was unable to ask Harris before the interview wrapped. “I had to dismount there at the end,” Baier said, describing the chaotic ending to his interview of Harris. “There are so many things, and she maybe should do more of these.” . . .Harris’s team quickly began framing the interview as a biased attack on the vice president. Senior campaign adviser David Plouffe whined that Baier’s interview was an “ambush” in a tweet minutes after the interview concluded.Well, compared to the usual fluffers that Plouffe approves of, actually asking direct, unscripted questions that call into question the real record of the interviewee would naturally be called biased attacks." Well, if she felt as such, she should've said so to Baier, instead of dodge them. Look, I'm no fan of Fox News, especially these days. They were in the early days actually "fair and balanced" both in how they covered hard news stories (as close to what we think real journalism is supposed to be [the who, what, where, when and why]), and in their punditry and editorials giving more or less equal time to both Left and Right perspectives. That was the secret of their success. Naturally to do that earned them the ire of the legacy media since their job was is and always will be to promote and defend Leftism and attack anyone and anything that exposes it/tem for what it/they are. When Trump came along, unfortunately, Fox was not immune to TDS. Small wonder since as we know, the GOP-e and too many on the so-called right get along and go along with the dismantling of America as founded.
And as Harris and Walz seemingly continue to SUNDOWN, pun totally intended, the only thing left for the Democrats is to continue to blood-libel anyone who opposes them and/or supports Trump as literally diseased:

And we still have a couple of weeks to go until election day and three more months to go until the inauguration. Slightly less until Congress meets to certify the Electoral College results. I watched the whole interview last night… they put the entire 26 minutes on the Fox News YT site afterwards last night, unedited, no commercials.
My initial reaction: disastrous for her… even discounting substance (there was none), she came across as angry, rude and generally unlikable. No way that swayed any undecideds to her.
This morning I still think the same. But now it occurs to me that her managers didn’t do this to sway undecideds… they know she’s incapable of that. No, this was a continuation of their “energize the base” strategy. They’re still in a mindset of 15-20 years ago when FN was the evil Murdoch conservative bastion. Kamala went in there like a slay queen and smote the dragon!! It excites all the angry cat ladies

I've been a board of director member for 8 days and I'm so sick and tired of the nonsense that I almost resigned last Saturday. I'm giving it one more try today and if it goes as expected I'll resign. Not normally a quitter, however I'm to old to put up with petty bullshit. I've always referred to neighborhoods with HOA's as nazi land and this one is no exception. All it takes is one batshit crazy homeowner and chaos ensues. I told hubby nec that I wanted nothing to do with a HOA again. Nope, he loved the location of the development so I gave in.

Nova. I'm one of 5, I have zero ability to end this meeting. It also needs to be held due to an upcoming annual owner's meeting. 27 homes in the development and the agitator wants it run like the fed government should be run. I would put water at the top of the list and you need to consider collection, filtration / purification, and storage. Check your monthly *usage* on your utility bills for the past year, and then compare that to the monthly average rainfall for the same time span...

I'm personally convinced the fear is entirely for themselves, and all that is theirs, after their terrible treatment of those who'd dare over at least the past decade to oppose.
Therefore, at some class levels, fear seems to be from citing selected pieces of the Project 2025 tome, adding 'context,' and using it to stoke the concerns of folks having 'less' - broadly defined - so less $, access to medical and/or school services, and so on.
This morning, I saw >The Philadelphia Inquirer, 'Women and Children First,' by Dain Saint, published Oct. 2024 Project 2025 aims to "protect America's families." What does it mean for Pennsylvanians?

IMO, and depending upon class, barriers are placed to keep outside threats low. 'Family' homeless shelters, food distribution centers, public transportation, daycare & home health businesses are growing by leaps & bounds in SOME areas. Those neighborhoods are changing: less neighborly, more violent, increasingly overtaxed but with public schools showing signs of failure, closing churches, segregated area. Working from home or moving away is often not an option.
Within days in my formerly 'nice' area: A boy was shot & died in a park; a young pregnant woman shot in a popular store parking lot killing her & her unborn child; a car theft & chase resulted in a terrible crash in an intersection of major roads; two drivers were killed (shot or struck) near the foot of I-95 and I476, and a shooting with injuries in a store parking lot - of a nice, middle class neighborhood.
Burden by what is, we now are.
It's happened before & it'll happen again: areas that become unexpected tinderboxes.
IMHO, keep with current governance, the troubles will increase & spread.

The View is being their usual nonpartisan, fair group, labeling Trump supporters as a cult, and using pseudo-quotes to trash him, over and over again.
My husband watches it. He actually is relatively fair, for a Democrat, but he just loves the younger ladies - particularly Hostin (nice hair today), and Griffin (she may be a tool, but she dresses nicely and has good hair).
What can I say?
He's a guy. Which explains the MANY men who haven't a clue just how much of a whacko their wife is until they are married. During the courtship phase, the sexual urge drove all common sense out of them.
