23 Posted too late on the last thread:
308 Interesting bit of info from Lebanon - the IDF captured 3 Hezbollah fighters in a tunnel, brought them back and has made some of their interrogations public today. Fascinating part is where they say that Nasrallah had brought in a lot of mercenary fighters to attack Israel, men from Syria, Iraq, all over. But they said that these men “had no faith” and were only in it for the money, and that when Nasrallah got killed they all ran away and disappeared. So only a relative handful of Hezbollah fighters are left on the southern border of Lebanon.

Dear Kamala Harris, I’m one of those “ridiculous and crazy” Black men who is voting for Trump. I don’t smoke weed. I don’t need your $20,000. I paid my student loans off years ago. I’m not a criminal. However, I’m a father of a girl and I don’t want a man in a locker room with her. I also don’t want her competing against men. I don’t want illegal immigrants attacking me or my family. I want my retirement secure. I want my cops supported so they can do their jobs. Maybe instead of pandering to stereotypes about Black men, you can just be authentic for all Americans if you still remember what that is. Trump, like him or not, is authentic. Hugs, because maybe if you’d been hugged more, you wouldn’t be so shallow, condescending, and fake, and I’m not a hugger…Zeek

I would have loved that video once, but then I read some tweep's experience with his Cane Corso. Raised the dog from puppyhood, always the guy's best pal etc. One night when they were playing, the dog for no detectable reason SNAPPED to its wolf ways, had the guy pinned and was giving the scary growl, fur standing out, teeth bared. Wow! If you are a Mideast expert, leave everything and watch this video. I could have watched hours of it. This is Waddah Younis, the Hezbollah fighter whom the IDF captured when he got stuck (or was hiding) in a tunnel shaft in south Lebanon. Waddah hails from a Communist family, but says that no one in Lebanon would give a job to a Shia (totally not true), and says Hezbollah is the only one that has money to employ people (true).

He says that Hezbollah launched attacks from south #Lebanon villages because it controls municipal councils, such as in Hoola (formerly a bastion of Communists) but not in Rmeish (predominantly Christian) because the mayor is a partisan of Christian anti-Hezbollah leader Samir Geagea and his Lebanese Forces Party.

Posted by: andycanuck (hovnC) at October 15, 2024 08:49 PM (hovnC)

162 Hussain Abdul-Hussain @hahussain 6h
Waddah also says that Hezbollah fighters ran away. They were only interested in the money. This should debunk our perception of Iran-led "resistance" fighters as being ideological, whether Hamas or Hezbollah. These people are unemployed and join terrorist organizations mainly because of unemployment.

Now that we know that Tehran has cashed more than $200 billion since Biden came to power, it'd be wise to reconsider how "de-escalation" might work: Not by holding back our allies from fighting back but by strangling the source of terrorism and belligerence.

Oh, that reminds me. On the Gub Thread I mentioned how the store clerk had charged me for only one 20-round box of 5.56 instead of the three samples I had picked out; and charged me for a $9 .30-cal plastic ammo can instead of for the $14 .50-cal. one I had selected. I phoned today to make amends but the owner told me to forget about it and thanked me for my honesty. Good consumer relations for a guy who'd just bought almost $1,000 in ammo etc.
