I stumbled across this (from the rotating body stuff I was going about last thread). This is astronaut Don Pettit doing some very simple, yet utterly fascinating experiments in zero-g, including rotating bodies at the end. He also does some very fascinating stuff with floating bubbles of water, with and without air in them:

I hate how Grit expands a two-hour movie into a 2.5-hour or 3-hour slot with commercials, and runs the end credits of each film and TV show in a little window during the last scene so they can manage the above process. But -- they run some of the best non-woke movies ever made.

183 Just to be tedious, but Yemen doesn’t need an invasion. The goal is to make them stop piracy and stop shooting missiles. So you send over the B2’s, you take out every power generation facility, you take out every fuel storage facility, you take out every port facility. You fly over at night and if you see a single light bulb in anywhere you blow iit up.

184 Yemen launched a hypersonic missile into central Israel yesterday and Iran launched an ICBM supposedly carrying a satellite.

185 When Harris’s presidential campaign finally announced some policies on her homepage, one of her first promises was to “end sub-minimum wages for tipped workers and people with disabilities.”

This would shut down these workshops by outlawing tens of thousands of jobs. The people who run the workshops say this would leave most of their disabled workers without any work.

188 Yemen is a 17th century shit hole. It couldn't launch an attack on a troop of Brownies without funding and weapons from Iran.

189 So Yemen has deployable hypersonic missile technology while the US has yet to develop a deployable hypersonic missile?

Fascinating what barbarians can acquire when your IC/MIC cares more about genders and colors than keeping America and its allies safe.

196 Good morning, you techies!

I have an old, suspicious lady question. When you scan a QR code with your phone, does any information get transferred besides just sending your browser to a website just like a web address would? There are QR codes all over campus and I'm reluctant to scan them because I don't want trackers or data stealing stuff or questionable downloads.

Obama with the College Sophomore Diplomacy ideas think a terrorist religious autocracy can provide some type of balance against the Democratic Western Civilization (Israel) in the Middle East. It is like having a Boy Scout Troup at the local Methodist Church or Knights of Columbus that services the community and deciding that a local bar with a killer biker gang will balance out the neighborhood.

This has been an issue in disability world for 50 years.

Democrats claim people without minimum productivity should somehow earn minimum wage. If they can't earn minimum wage, they shouldn't work at all.

Typical lib thinking. No loaf is better than half a loaf.

Have you noticed that some clothing donation orgs no longer accept repairable clothes? Used to be Goodwill would take them and give disabled people work to repair sellable items. Now, they only want near new unblemished clothing.

It makes me think that liberals do not realize the value of work vs. a rate of pay.
The value of work is a physical, mental, and emotional connection to your service to people.

Here is the entire 1 minute salesperson book:
He sold a lot of shit.
or
He helped people find and get what they needed/wanted.

204 The absolute classic - limousine liberals enacted a “Yacht Tax” in one of the NE states. (Maybe Maine, wherever John Kerry lives - he moved his yacht to a state without it.)

So they got their “stick it to the rich” Tax. That’ll show ‘em.

Well it sure did. What happened - thousands of middle class jobs - Yacht builders and support industries, yacht repair - all those careers went away. Stupid AF, but that’s who we are dealing with. Credentialed Idiots.

Massachusetts. He had his yacht which was built in NZ I believe delivered to the marina next to mine in Rhode Island. His boat was a tad more expensive than mine.

He got caught and shamed into moving it to MA and paying the tax he supported.

The affidavit will be released, come hell or high water. To my knowledge the whistleblower has not been killed, but I have not spoken with the since early yesterday. However, If needed,, I will redact the part of the affidavit myself and release it to the public. I am aware of legal process servers attempted to serve me papers at my home and at my camp. 214 This Boeing strike pits Union against Boeing management.

This is Stalin and Hitler fighting 1:1 and with no Poland in between. Given that the strike will especially hurt the economy in leftist PNW in an election year, it's like Christmas came early and I'm getting a Red Rider BB gun after all.

There's just so much awesome packed into that fight.
