Nice painting. The subject is by no means ugly, but she is not a great beauty* - but the setting makes the meal. Her clothes, her positioning, her posture, the grand furnishings, etc. transform her into a great beauty.

Wiki art-
Vigée Le Brun fled France at the beginning of the Revolution. She spent the next decade in exile, much of it in St. Petersburg, where she painted Countess Tolstaya (1774–1825). The artist’s portraits are marked by a sense of apparent directness and intimacy – as if we meet the sitters as equals, sharing a bond of mutual understanding. The Countess, casually posed, is at one with her wild surroundings; setting aside convention, she wears an unusually simple dress, inspired by Greek and Roman examples. The portrait holds out the promise of a life freed from society’s constrictions and more in sympathy with nature – a vital element of Enlightenment thought. From their wbsite: "The Empire Man was introduced in 1977 and later adapted into the popular animated TV character that has grown to become a cultural icon. The Empire Man originally appeared on TV as a role played by Lynn Hauldren. Contrary to popular belief, the Empire Man was not the company’s owner, nor was he a sales representative or installer. In the late 1970s, Hauldren was an advertising copywriter who worked for the Empire brand. The company’s owner . . . requested he play the Empire Man role after unsuccessfully auditioning several other actors. He was the friendly face that appeared on television sets telling families all about Empire’s name-brand carpet and affordable prices." Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is facing a powerful defamation lawsuit arising from false claims he made about a Republican election volunteer in his 2021 book “Integrity Counts.” He wrote and published that a video presentation of unsupervised ballot counting at State Farm Arena in Atlanta had been “doctored,” “chopped up,” “cut,” “sliced up,” and “deceptively sliced and edited so that it appeared to show the exact opposite of reality,” allegedly including a “slice of video that had removed the clear evidence” that the law had been followed.
None of that was true. Jacki Pick, a Republican volunteer on the Trump legal team, was the sole presenter of the video to Georgia legislators to show that Republican election observers’ claims about unsupervised ballot counting in Georgia’s largest county were true. While she did not show the entire 20 hours of the video in her 12-minute presentation, nothing she showed was edited, chopped up, sliced, or diced, in any way. The strategy is to try and detach Harris from Biden-Harris. The polling reflects people who have bought the lie The media and the campaign have undertaken an effort to try and separate Harris from Biden and make people believe she had nothing to do with the current disaster.
