This would allow that ice to cover England and parts of Europe, fundamentally changing the temperature by one to two degrees celsius. That might not sound like a huge difference, but again, that small difference can easily snowball and lead to more changes. As such, an AMOC collapse would be a terrifying event.

On Ventusky I can see ocean water temperature off New Jersey is about 10 degrees lower then this time last summer. Quite a ways further south, too. I'd expect to see low 80's and it's barely 70.

Daughter of a friend of mine is getting married tomorrow. Tonight they have some big family celebration at their house and customs from another culture where his wife is originally from. He's been preparing things at their home for months. Tomorrow is the wedding Mass. I would be grateful for prayers that all go smoothly for the day and that people arrive and get home safely and that people feel the love of God. Thx so much
