Skip, I know you have me beat. I leave at 5:30 am, true, but I'm home by 5 usually (close to an hour's evening commute), and the first two hours at my office are not work at all. Plus, you know, office instead of outdoor work.

A plague of rash-inducing mites has descended upon Illinois.

I saw some huge line of people waiting to be tested for monkeypox in Illinois and I was like WTF? Apparently a rash is one of the symptoms.

I spend a lot of time outside and I've had two rashes recently for no logical reason. Now I think I have an idea why as Pennsylvania is one of the states listed. It went away in a couple of days, but still...

Ja. Approach Monday, or Montag if you will, with a gleeful resolve. Save all the bone-crushing despair for Wednesday, or syndicated episodes of The Big Bang Theory. Those fey parodies of intellect trafficked by that production task Werner, and he shall send them a strongly-worded missive that shall make Chuck Lorre rue the day that he fobbed such an abomination on unsuspecting souls. He shall...wait, Werner has allowed himself to be carried away. Pleasant Monday to all and sundry, and fair winds and following seas, ja? Excelsior? Maybe that.

We have flood control/duck ponds for the rainy season, and a community pool.

The pool is probably around 88-89 degrees.

But Oceana Air Station where we were at has a small waterpark. And that was about 78-79 degrees. And that takes some getting used to.

That made me remember the 90s and early 2000s when people would write great programs and post them for free or for a small donation if you used it and found value in it. Often even the big boys would allow you to use the full program to test it out to see if it would work for you.

"it’s not cheap to run this grid and keep it reliable, especially when we’re transitioning to clean energy.” Echols said. “As we transition from dirty coal to cleaner things like nuclear and solar and batteries, it’s just more expensive.”

"Officials are optimistic that with the right rebranding, carp can become a desirable commodity for humans, pets, and possibly for both.

"A rebranding kind of campaign for them could potentially bring their price up, making it more economically viable for people to go fish for them," said Ben Meadows, an assistant professor of economics at the University of Alabama Birmingham, per the MinnPost."

135 The pubs finally got around to figuring out what Joe was up to:

"House Republicans issued a blistering report Monday accusing President Biden of committing at least two offenses that would justify his impeachment — delivering a political black eye to Biden just hours before he speaks on the opening night of the Democratic National Convention"

"Joe Biden’s participation in his family’s influence peddling represents — as quantified by sheer dollar amounts flowing to a public official’s personal interests — one of the most egregious abuses of power uncovered in the history of the United States,” it alleges.

As much as $18 million allegedly flowed from foreign entities to “shell companies” and other accounts linked to first family members from “corrupt dealings” that sold the “Biden brand” to associates in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia and China."

Technically she doesn't.

More and more convinced that the former US is being ruled out of London and Brussels than by anywhere else. The USG bureaucrats are directed to torpedo the US(f) wherever possible.

Its really strange seeing people who live in this country actively engage in behavior that makes themselves, their family, their neighbors and most of the country miserable.

145 Mites are like virus: if you get a big dose they will cause symptoms even if you aren't the right host. They won't survive but it can be uncomfortable as they try to. Oak mites, (bird) feather mites, dust, etc mites will all cause itchy rash before they die off.

Relief's from anti-histamines; lotion or tablets. For small areas under 6"X6" peppermint oil works too and is faster.
