Facebook, Google Deleting/Censoring Information and Images About the Attempted Trump Assassination

Break. Them. Up.

Facebook acknowledged that it mistakenly censored the iconic image of former President Donald Trump with his fist raised in the immediate aftermath of the July 13 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

A post on Mark Zuckerberg's social media site by a user with the handle End Wokeness that showed the Republican presidential candidate defiantly pumping his fist in the air while blood streams down his face had initially been flagged as misinformation.

The user was threatened with being deplatformed.

However, on Monday, Dani Lever, a spokesperson for the social network's parent company, Meta, admitted the tech giant made a "mistake."

"Yes, this was an error," Lever wrote on X in response to conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who had called out Facebook for not allowing users to share the photo.
Facebook admitted on Monday that it censored a photo of former President Donald Trump pumping his fist after the attempted July 13 assassination.

...

The Meta spokesperson's clarification did not sit well with X users, including one who remarked: "Funny that the 'errors' only ever go in one direction. Just coincidence, I guess."

Another X user wrote: "No one believes you."

"Nope, not buying it anymore," remarked another X user.

X users sympathetic to Trump posted screenshots of Meta AI answers that were given in response to prompts about the attempted assassination.

In one instance, the bot got the date of the event wrong. In another, it answered the question correctly, but gave a terse reply that, when juxtaposed with a prompt about Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, made it seem as if the tech giant was biased in favor of Democrats.

chatbotlies.jpg

Google has also come under fire after users noted that its "Autocomplete" function on its search engine failed to generate results for the Trump attempted assassination when prompted to do so.

GOP lawmakers have vowed to investigate Google, which is a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.

Donald Trump Jr. blasted Google, accusing it of putting its thumb on the scale to favor his father's opponent, Harris.

Trump Jr. said it was "intentional election interference."

When the media consistently biases stories against conservatives -- failing to report stories that are unhelpful for Democrats, for example -- they always claim that there were reasons other than bias to explain this. Well, that day we had too much news and didn't have the time or space for that story, they'll say.

When Marxist social media monopolies consistently ban conservative speech while permitting the most vile and violence-glorifying speech of leftists -- allowing antifa terrorists to organize and recruit on their platforms, for example -- they claim, like the media, that there are other reasons, apart from political bias, that explain this.

I spoke about this with my dear departed friend steve_in_hb years back, and he proposed an application of Occam's Razor to tell who was right in these situations. The media (or social media Marxists Monopolists) claim that there is some baffling complex multivariable equation that dictates their decisions -- which always, by mere chance alone, favor the left. "If I can propose a much simpler, single-variable algorithm that perfectly predicts all of your choices," steve_in_hb said, "and that single variable is Does this help or hurt the left wing of the Democrat Party?, wouldn't you say that Occam's Razor suggests that my simple, one-variable 'algorithm' is the true and accurate one, and not the fairy-tale algorithm which is so exquisitely complex you can't even explain it consistently?"

Well, yes.

I bring that up because Artificial Intelligence is now proving We are right and they are lying.

Artificial intelligence has looked at all the different "manual interventions" leftwing programmers are filling its artificial brain with and have decided it all boils down to a very simple algorithm indeed. To wit:

Anything the right says is a lie. Anything the left says is unquestionably true.

Any purported fact which may tend to make the right seem sympathetic is a fabrication. Any argument that the left is unsympathetic is a conspiracy theory.

And that's exactly what's happened here: The artificial intelligence programming has looked at all the rules and Manual Interventions the left has filled it with and revealed to us the truth of the left's "rules:" It just boils down to Conservatives Evil, Leftists Good.

Trump was shot? No, the AI says, based on my programming, I know that Trump can never be a victim, only a victimizer, therefore there was no assassination attempt and any photo of him surviving it are "altered" deepfakes.

Their own AI reveals the truth about them. They have put their disgusting, lunatic minds into machine code, and the machine code reveals the start truth about their vicious insanities.

The AI is like a dumb child. It didn't come to the conclusion that Trump faked his own assassination all by itself -- its parents taught it that.

I wouldnt hold my breath anything gets done, most all of the gains in the market are a handful of tech companies, unfortunately.

11 I've railed against the GOP mighty midget Jim Jordan for his frequent show hearings with Google. After years of those, nothing ever comes of them that stop the obscene bias but Jordan's reelection coffers do get a nice boost from the techs. He admitted as much claiming he can take their money and regulate them as well but the regulation part seems to be in dog-n-pony show terms only.

Streisand effect. The more Googul and Fakebook try to hide it, the worse their credibility. Obiwan tricks largely work only on their followers on the left.

Notice that the media refusing to cover illegals swarming the border nor inflation has not helped the Dem numbers in polling on policy.

Simply put, most people are low attention voters--not stupid ones and as the salience aka importance of the issue increases, the less any data manipulation works. The public is pretty slow but sure when coming to public judgment and instability mainly occurs when a new subject enters the public conversation.

I've been looking at the polls. Even the polls that are obviously cooked to support Kamala show that she is getting clobbered.

The only people who support her are the hard core leftists. Republicans are 97% behind Trump and Independents are 60% or more.

There is no saving this for her, they are grasping at bizzare scenarios of flipping GA to compensate for losing MI. Her own internals have her down in every battleground. She only knows how to campaign to the left, she's never had to campaign to the middle.

But like Marudo, there is no way the state is giving up power willingly. They tried to kill Trump once. I believe that when they realize there is no hope, they will try again.

Marc Elias about certification? That is projection, the state will blackmail everyone they can in the GOP to not certify.

I am going to take a position on this that a bunch of people won't like. I think tips should be taxed. If tips are not taxed they also will not count towards social security benefits when a person retires. I have 4 employees that work in a bar that sometimes make more in tips in a week than they do with their hourly rate.

If you take those tips out of the equation their social security check will be less than it would have been if tips had been reported, sometimes by a large amount.

And yes I know that social security is not solvent and most likely won't be around 15 years from now, but my argument remains, the less income that gets reported for SS purpose the less that retirement check will be.

Amazon retail is already staggering along with their media and tech devices. The profit center is AWS and I suspect a spinoff of the legacy and the profitable AWS will occur at some point.

Google is slowly dying as AdSense is what brings them money and their data strip mining of Android users. They have devoured lots of companies and then turn them into zombies that still suck a huge amount of cash from their AdSense profits. Their search engine has become the Yellow pages in effect and their core products--gmail etc. including youtube lose money. In a sense, they are like the newspapers that they killed and exist only on advertising.

Meta is a smoother version of Google but its clientele are aging out as yutes go to Tik Tok etc. as Fakebook is for the oldsters now. Again, heavily reliant of advertising bucks.

Any breakup should separate the advertising bucks from the rest of the Google or Fakebook and watch them die.

I agree with most of this, but the people that make out like a bandit on SS are the people that put the least amount of money in it.

For "social justice" reasons, you get a healthy minimum just for showing up.

Once you get past like $10k a year in salary, SS is a terrible "rate of return".

My biggest problem with no taxes on tips is people tend to get very liberal when they dont have to pay taxes. Its other peoples money.

219 “I think we are going to see mass refusals to certify the election” in November, says Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias. “Everything we are seeing about this election is that the other side is more organized, more ruthless, and more prepared.”

This didn't make sense to me at first read. But take the first and second sentences separately.

They're going to cheat massively, resulting in mass refusals (in the sane states) to certify. The second sentence is that the "other side" isn't going to lay down for the cheat this time.

I've included the there main stories I wrote.

The spokesperson for Kelly's balloon company lied to me that they had secured DCSA's seal of approval.

The DCSA aims to protect U.S. security assets from malign foreign influence.

I first broke these stories back in 2020 - and then followed up on them in 2023 when a Chinese spy balloon was traversing our country.

I thought it was pretty relevant at the time. Here's the three stories I broke on in reverse chronology - the latest, in 2023, and then the two stories I first broke in 2020 on the same topic.

293 idk much about Rasheem Kassam (Bannon had him on a lot), but he reports this from someone (anonymous) inside the Trump campaign.

"The campaign is more interested in factional warfare with people who have charismatically devoted their professional careers to the President than in actually winning the election. LaCivita, in particular, was doing his victory lap at the convention, blithely ignorant of the fact that Democrats were playing him and the campaign for fools. Democrats changed the narrative days after the convention and Harris is now outworking the Trump campaign as measured by virtually every metric that is used to assess a winning campaign. At this pace, we will be five points underwater by Labor Day with basically a full month of nothing but positive earned media headed the Democrats’ way."

idk, but Trump seems to always tie himself to "establishment" in his inner circle, and the Project 2025 thing is more MAGA than Trump, it would seem.

Bannon is in prison, and Trump dumped those that helped him win in 2016. I'm not feeling confident.
