Anyway I don't really know much about horses other than a pack trip or two where somebody else did most of the work. I got to wondering how you get a horse to come to you. So I went out from camp about 20 feet and kind of looked at the horse. Then I put my arm up like "I come in peace" and giving it my best Tonto voice said "Come!" and the horse's ears perked up and he started coming over to me. I started laughing and then it got spooked and didn't grace me with his presence. I always try to keep some Granola or an apple in case I run into other horses some day.

I think the humane society kind of lied about this one, she is very much just a barn cat without much knowledge of people. It's taken 2 years before you can pat her head without getting bloody.
I kind of like this one, yeah, she's not smart or sophisticated but she's a reliable killer first, and then, seems like she's getting it together with human beings. She's able to grab my hand without slicing me, which she did do several times initially. Now she grabs my hand and licks it, before she'd get down and I'd leave bloody deep. Spatula Kitty sliced me up several times, really serious.

Law enforcement did nothing, or were more accurately not allowed to. It was only random internet investigators who tracked down the miscreant. He was charged, and then suffered no penalty as far as anyone knows.
Remember when all those Democrats came out together on the capitol steps and gave speeches deploring violence and saying it is "unacceptable" and there is no place for it in politics?

I looked up fact vs fiction of it, and I was amazed to find that the craziest bits, like his grandma setting his grandma on fire for coming home drunk, were 100% true. And that they actually toned down the grandma stories.
There were some liberties taken on timelines to help craft a narrative that works for cinema, but that's fine by me.
I love how much the elites hate the movie. They refuse to like films about how your own actions cause your misery, so change, vs government coming in to rescue you.

If you got it, it's a 7-10 day sore throat (worst symptom), with fatigue and dry cough, although I also cannot stand the smell of Aldi's rotisserie chicken right now (aka, some nose smell issues) - whole house got it here in late June through early July. Sucked.

I'm not convinced there was an actual conspiracy, but Crooks isn't that bad of a fall guy. They at least tried to run the "evil white male Republican voter twisted into psychosis by Trump" playbook.
