Your (Chicago) property tax dollars at work -
Only 35 students enrolled in Douglass Academy High School for the 2023-2024 school year, but the building can hold over 900 students. Logic would say it should be closed, but the Chicago Teachers Union prohibits closing it and other underused schools. In fact, CTU sees the 23 staffers at Douglass as inadequate. CTU’s new contract demands would put at least eight additional staff members in the school. That would mean 31 staff members for 35 students. Douglass already spends over $68,000 per student. All that money and all that potential staff attention, yet it failed to produce even a single student who was proficient in either reading or math on a recent SAT. I hope we can all put this behind us. We are stronger together. To the Congress members who feel the need to position themselves against Joe to help their campaigns, that only makes you look weak! Israel Finance Minister Smotrich on the looming hostage deal: Why am I opposed to the hostage deal? They promised us that after we evacuated Gush Katif (the Jewish part of Gaza), if even one rocket was fired, it would be over. We warned them not to make this mistake, but they dismissed our concerns, accusing us of fear-mongering. When we pleaded against releasing 1,000 terrorists, including Sinwar, in exchange for one Israeli, they laughed at us and labeled us enemies of peace. Now, as we raise our voices again, warning of the dangers, they accuse us of spreading fear. If we withdraw now, all the work we've done would be in vain, and all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives would have done so for nothing. We now have the chance to finish the job, and we’re expected to stop? Do you understand what happens if we allow Hamas to regain control of the Philadelphi corridor? It means thousands of terrorists flooding back. are remaining with still lots of infrastructure, it might be hard, but we can get finally get the job done. Posted by: illiniwek at July 12, 2024 10:16 AM (Cus5s) It seems silly because it is, but since "globalist" is thrown around so cheaply and I am hated as some sort of traitor because I see the Outside World as a place full of opportunity (for the citizenry of the country to make tons of money), I have come to the conclusion that if you have a valid passport and can say "Yeah. I've seen the Outside World", you are a globalist. And while I appreciate the dangers of those morons, not everything is a conspiracy. You especially will find that soul crushing and devastating as global conspiracies are your raison d'etre, but there it is. (I for one see teacher's unions as a conspiracy to make lazy teachers insanely wealthy while ensuring they do as little as possible so they can line the pockets of union thugs, rinse lather repeat...not as anything connected to the WEF or Soros or whatever the flavor of the week is.) Found the Ace clown penis bit. It was on Trump in one of the 2016 debates:
"His answers to questions about Trump University and the budget were somewhat uncomfortable to watch, in much the same way that it is uncomfortable to watch a bus full of circus clowns crash into a school for blind children and even worse the clowns were doing their "Gasoline Comedy" act that day and now all the blind children are on fire and the clowns are trying to squirt water on them with their stupid lapel-flowers but the flowers are just squirting out more gas and the children are crying tears of fire out of their Unseeing Dead Eyes and holy shit a couple of the clowns look like they have boners and they're chasing around the fiery blind children trying to rub up on them with these bobbling clown-boners with big red bulbs on their tips. In other words, as Trump would say: Not the best. Really not terrific. A real mess! Grade: I don't even know how to even start grading this. As far as a letter grade, I give a red X carved crudely through the face of a rotting pig with a bunch of stripper-glitter tossed on it." Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2 Just like the media refuses to ask Kamala Harris about her presence at DNC on Jan 6, no reporter will have the guts to ask Whitmer what she knew and when she knew it. Recent recordings prove FBI contacted her team BEFORE the FBI-led surveillance of her cottage on Sept 2020. FBI installed pole cameras around her property to capture evidence of the alleged “recon” trip that involved as many FBI informants and UCEs as targets. The Black Horse, John Atherton, 1941. War? Something worth watching for and defending against, the small highlighted mount being key, perhaps. He also painted Invasion The Heads in 1941.
In the 1950s, he painted many rocks, i.e., Rocks and Weeds, Thought Provoking Rock Quarry. In between, he painted some very nice illustrations but maybe they weren't enough to sustain a decent living. Wouldn't hang the key painting but would hang some artist illustrations. Thank you. Posted by: Aetius451AD ========= Few tips, make your room as absolutely dark as you can possibly achieve during sleep and keep it friggin cold enough for icicles. Both induce sleep. When leaving your batcave, have the rest of your digs with very bright lights to kick in natural day/night cycling. Milk and milk products also help induce sleep before bed and stop all electronic device use including TV about thirty minutes before bed. If sleepless for more than 30-40 minutes, get up, read the most boring shit possible (I read firearm and material science manuals to a time until sleepy again) and then try again to sleep. I have been rated as having severe sleep issues due to med issues and as a result have spent quite a bit of time with docs about how to alleviate it.
