It's The Same Old Story From The Republican Party: Lots Of Talk But Very Little Action

The Democrats do many things well, and one of those things is grassroots organizing. They slither their slimy tentacles everywhere, because that's how to win elections.

Republicans eye liberal bastion with polls saying Granite State is brittle for Democrats

While New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Christopher Ager told the Washington Examiner that New Hampshire is “definitely a battleground state after the debate — you can feel the momentum shifting in favor of President Trump,” Republicans have their work cut out for them. With wins in every presidential race in New Hampshire since before 9/11, Democrats hold a significant infrastructural advantage over the GOP. The Biden campaign has 14 offices across the state. The Trump campaign has only one field office.

And the Republican party has fine-tuned its ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory! New Hampshire is in play, and these bumbling idiots can't manage to spend a few million bucks for the real opportunity to pick up four electoral votes?

And don't sneer at four electoral votes...I have Donald Trump at 268 firm votes! I know...math!

This isn't rocket surgery. Just open a few offices, create a GOTV system (the template exists), and get NH voters to the polls. The issues are clear, so there won't be much work involved; just the basic stuff that the Democrat party does well, and the Republicans avoid, because it isn't as much fun as going to cocktail parties.

We are our own worst enemy!

5 People doing the autopsy on the conservative bloodbath in Britain point to the fact the party has NO purpose. It doesn't stand for anything. It just exists because it does.

I don't know from English politics, but I know that accurately describes the Republicans. Don't tell me they're the party of smaller government, national defense, law and order, and all the rest of that.

Nobody believes the Republican Party stands for anything anymore, other than graft and keeping their own jobs.

The only reason they MIGHT defeat the Democrats this year is if enough people genuinely decide they don't want Democrats. That's it.

Win this election? Whatever. This party will F it up, accomplishing nothing of any value.

Because the Republicans are still holding out hope that Trump is in prison and unable to effectively run (and win.) Thus, like the issues with *biden, the party will pull a last minute substitution and put her on the ticket to run against whoever is on the Democrat's ticket.

And lose. As planned.

All this predicated on Trump being out of the picture. If he's able to run then all that bullshit I just typed is just bullshit. Either way...

26 Amazingly, yesterday I was looking at the recent tweets of Jonah Goldberg and Megan McArdle.

Remember them? Part of the small group of "conservatives" who are funded by the Left, in order to pretend that there is substantial opposition to Trump in the Republican party. Goldberg is funded by Pierre Omidyar, and McArdle by the Washington Post.

They're nervous about demanding that Biden withdraw, because the Party Line mandated by their masters might change, so they spend their time demanding that Trump withdraw.

Goldberg offered up some weak criticism of Trump's conviction in New York - the other cases against Trump are perfectly valid, of course, but this one case is so weak that it makes all the other valid cases look bad.

Hard to believe that eight years ago these people were viewed as legitimate conservative intellectuals, before they were thrown on the ash heap of history by opposing Trump.

30 And don't sneer at four electoral votes...I have Donald Trump at 268 firm votes!

No such thing as a "firm vote". Hillary Clinton campaign learned that hard lesson in 2016 with regards to long-time blue voting states of Pennsylvania (24 years), Wisconsin (28 years) and Michigan (24 years). Not to mention Arizona was solid red since 1952 (save for 1996 election) until it was stolen by the Deep State in 2020. And the Governor election in 2022.

Every state should be considered a battleground state. Don't assume any state is safe. Because with the Deep State cheating machine and the massive amount of illegal alien ballots sitting out there, no state is safe.

Posted by: Clyde Shelton at July 07, 2024 12:27 PM (P5BPp)

31 Well behind the scenes work is being done.

Probably not enough, the state organizations need to be cleaned out just as much as the rest of the swamp.

However, very serious work is going on to get new voters registered and get them to vote. PA is quietly turning red, Bucks County is less than 500 voters away from flipping.

Michigan registration work is coupled with a mechanism to ensure they also turn out to vote.

While fretting over NH is correct regarding the local party, it has never been on the campaign radar.

Trump sits at a solid 268 right now. He wins by winning any of the following: NE-2, ME, NH, VA, WI, MI, or PA.

And yes, they are going to cheat like hell to try to beat him. But they need 5 times as many fake ballots this time (488% actually). So we will see. Can they do it? Maybe, but it will be a lot harder.

And if they can cheat to that level successfully, then registering voters in NH was never going to matter.

Posted by: Dave in Fla at July 07, 2024 12:27 PM (5p7BC)

32 Gov. Sununununu was on Faux News this morning. His support of Trump was lukewarm at best. Guess he's still pissed his beloved Nikki dropped out. The Democrats have been organized for years. The Republicans have not given a shit about organizing for years. With Romney McDaniel being ousted back in March I would hope the new leadership would do just that.

Is that happening? I do not know

Maybe there is to much rot that needs to be gotten out of the party at both the State and National level.

CBD is correct, the party needs to get off its ass and actually start working to reach voters and get them excited to get out and vote.

Maybe the party should have an office in each county and two or more in cities. And this should be done in every State. And until it is against the law to have mail in voting the Republicans should embrace ballot harvesting. We need to out do everything the Democrats do.

I tend to agree, on the surface the people who live and die by partisan politics are terrified this is going to be a disaster for them. Meanwhile, the Deep State is strategizing on how to contain Trump during his four years.

The Republican operatives are being mobilized to make sure Trump can do as little damage as possible, and no doubt cooking up whatever nonsense they can to make sure in '28 that Gope is back in charge.

The Democrats are going insane because they remember 2016, where the polls told them that they were certain to win, and yet somehow Trump won anyway.

I followed only one poll that year, the LA Times three day tracking poll. Hillary was ahead a small amount up until the bollard of doom took her out. Three days later Trump was ahead and stayed ahead to the end.

In 2020 the LA Times decided not to have the same poll. But every poll I looked at carefully and normalized to the correct % of (R)'s and (D)'s showed Trump slightly ahead. Without normalizing he was behind. It made the cheat more possible that way.

The Joy Reid types claim to be talking to insiders, and there's good enough reason to believe she is. I don't think she's smart enough to be doing some kind of operation, where she's pretending to freak out, or reporting those insiders are also freaking out. I think they are indeed, freaking out.

But again, those "insiders" are only so far inside. The real power structure will go on, independent of who occupies the White House, and who has the bigger offices and gavels in the Capitol.

This is a state the GOP won by 22% in 2000 (1.365mil votes) and 23% (1.7mil) in 2004. Deep State cut that to 6% (631k) in 2020.

95 The GOP and its campaign consultants have followed the low turnout model because it benefited officeholders, donors, and campaign staff.

The great anti communist principle that restrained the grafting bastards of the GOP in office became no more after Reagan and the GOP rapidly pivoted to invade the world, invite the world politics which a) pissed off the Reagan Democrats who went home with Billy Clinton, b) destroyed the domestic industrial base in order to destroy unions and pad corporate profits/donors, and c) destroyed the guardrails around the financial industry for corporate interest leading to a decade of industry failures after the repeal of Glass Steagall and rapid consolidation of the telecom, broadcast, and media companies into oligopolies.

Essentially the GOP became Tory like in the idea that the better classes should restrain the hoi polloi (and not coincidentally bleed them dry) for fun, power, and profit. So the GOP politicians and campaigns could not speak of their real policies but instead engaged in penny ante politics and relied upon base voters and depressing the turnout via negative advertising.

The Dems did the same until Kerry lost in 2004.

Lots of those non existent buggers on the rolls are heading toward extinction plus Paxon getting off and CCJ justices going into well deserved retirement makes the legal environment more hostile to cheaters.

That tends to lend itself to being, ahem, a massive "political organ."

While the uniparty Rs are no different, the actual mom 'n pop conservatives are NOT. By extension of not liking or wanting burdensome governmental overhead, we don't particularly like perpetual initiatives that never end.

Look at Tea Party from the Obama years. If we had the liberal mindset, that would still be a thing. We'd still have rallies and candidate forums. But the people that keep an organization without a direct defined mission going forever and ever aren't particularly conservative, are they....

133 Here it is:

162 Well did some math, sorry.

We know that conservative estimate is that 2.5M fraudulent votes were cast for Biden in 2020. We know this through polling, when asking who people voted for. There are a lot of missing votes in the population.

Vote total in 2020
Biden 81,283,501
Trump 74,223,975

With an extra 2.5M votes and the 4.5% popular vote advantage, he was able to win by a bare 46,000 votes in key states.

Estimates are that there will be at least 5% new voters in 2024 (highly skewed toward Trump).

This means the vote total in 2024, given no changes, will be 160,657,850.

Trump's national lead is roughly 6% going by the post debate polls. This means that if everything were fair, the following total votes would occur

Biden 75,509,189
Trump 85,148,660

Biden needs an extra 3% on top to compensate for all the useless votes he gets in CA and NY. So he needs to get to 87,703,120 to have a chance to eek out another 46,000 vote miracle. This all assumes that no one tries to stop them in any meaningful way.

So Biden need 12,193,931 fake votes to make up ground. That is 9,693,931 more fake votes than 2020, or a 488% increase.

The MO GOP convention contest, & subsequent squabble, is a tempest in a teapot.

Two competing sets of GOP delegates, both for Trump, fighting to attend a convention at which the outcome is already certain.

This kind of thing sometimes happens in states where the GOP has the luxury of fighting over nothing, because the GOP controls everything already. Something similar has been happening in KS for a number of years.

The next GOP Gov of MO looks to be even MORE conservative than Parson is, btw. I have my ballot & am still undecided. The CD where I vote is also open. I don't know any actual GOP voter in MO who cares about the little catfight at the convention. I'm sure there are a few. Most people are unaware it even happened.

Most of the blame attends to the regular GOP assholes in campaign positions and the RNC (other party organizations as well). The GOP as a party since the 30's has always been a hierarchical elitist graft fest for get along go along types.

The Dems have had that problem in the past with their own party namely from the 80's to Obama, and before FDR.

The major solution is to go around those official party organizations as much as possible because they are literally dog shit assholes that get paid whether they win or lose. Floating independent committees for specific tasks allow for rapid dumping of dead wood placeholders and traitors and can be disbanded as needed quickly.

Because the smarter ones in the IC are well aware that openly flaunting fraud usually results in that particular regime swirling the toilet bowl in short fashion. Simply put, you have to have minimal consent of the governed even in somewhere like the late Soviet Union. We are not the Norks, nor E. Germany reliant on outsider Soviets to do dirty work in repressing the population.

Note that even in E. Germany, as nasty of a cruel police state government as has existed on Earth, it fell rapidly once the external oppressing forces were no long a threat (aka Russians). Ditto for the Baltic Republics, etc.

People are not potatoes, not all cultures are equal, and results vary significantly because of those bedrock facts of humanity.

If you have vulnerable leverage points like finances, a job, children, etc. then it is a reasonable precaution. However, in a past life, I dealt with large datasets and databases and setting them up to run. Most of what you hear from the media is hype about their capabilities--they can work backward to go after one individual but it doesn't work well on either prediction nor prevention of mass events.

Like the IC using criminal means to get to people, easy to target a known individual--generally not worth the trouble to go after everyone and actually disruptive to the system due to limits of people, money, and bureaucratic failure syndrome.

A lot of the Stasi time was built compiling masses of population dossiers and even about ten percent of the population as informants or so. It failed to save the regime even while even the KGB praised the Stasi efficiency.

The cost of living around here is hurting a lot of people but none more than young people. This area relies heavily on the service economy and tourism and it is very common to see signs these days saying business operating hours are being altered because of lack of help. Those jobs primarily went to young people.

Was speaking yesterday with my buddy who lives in the Keys and he says it's even worse down there. The debate helped expose what we have all known about Biden for years but the reality is he was already polling behind Trump before the debate and that is because he has an awful record across the board.

It's funny hearing Democrats now saying things like "Joe has been a great president but .... blah, blah, blah". No he hasn't been a great president. His approval rating is the lowest of any president in the modern polling era.

Problem is that our court system in every state including blue ones has precedents that dictate vote results beyond the number of actual registered voters is prima facie proof of fraud and subject to court jurisdiction.

Repeating 2020 trick is harder to do now without the massive influx of ballots and the Covid hysteria. The courts have eviscerated the public health powers used to aid the cheat in 2020 by subsequent decisions and Trump has a roadmap of exactly how the cheat was carried out in 2020.

Predicting the future is hard but adopting the all or nothing approach is counterproductive and demoralizing which is some of the recent new nics purpose. Demoralization ops have long been applied to politics and military matters.

Moral is--We win, they lose because truth ultimately defeats lies and we will conquer on the basis of truth/logos.

273 ...A lot of the Stasi time was built compiling masses of population dossiers and even about ten percent of the population as informants or so. It failed to save the regime even while even the KGB praised the Stasi efficiency.

One of the reasons their regime failed is because there was a powerful power in opposition - the US - that finally collapsed their protector - the USSR. That opposition power doesn't exist anymore. In fact, we've become them.

Honestly, I have tried to limit the amount of posting on this webzine I do from the work pooter. I could easily see someone monitoring that, and some of the things I say... well, I'm not exactly breaking news, but it's obvious some of the sources of my info are not acceptable to the regime.

280 I start with the assumption that no cabal of crooks is as cohesive at it looks from the outside. There are always factions, and always one group or another looking to take down the power.

True enough as far as it goes but essentially for us, the IC is a black box--we may know the titular 'leaders' but not the consultants, the contractors, political operatives, pols, and oligarchs giving them power and sustenance. My guess is both the financial and tech industries are heavily represented along with telecom and defense so there are some differences between those patrons of the Spy State.

The KGB and GRU had significant differences in emphasis and approach and amusingly the KGB were regarded as the softies. However, within those agencies there were factions supporting and opposing what Gorbachev eventually did regarding upsetting the reactionary and dying Brezhnev regime for reform from within.

Xi and the phantom brittle ChiCom hierarchy is facing similar issues or even the Mafia Commission.

400-500 million or so fingerprints actually obscure more than they reveal. Basically the same as the massive CCTV experiment in UK has found regarding images. It can help resolve a crime once committed (but is not definitive) but rarely if ever prevents one.

Essentially it is a level of analysis program. I can take a magnifying glass and concentrate enough sunlight on an ant to fry his ass. But it takes time, effort, and resources. That same tactic does not work on an anthill and a large enough solar apparatus to fry the anthill might just kill enough of them on the surface as to move to another location when the sun goes down.

Eventually history is an example of failed regimes where the rulers mistook their status as permanent. They can cause a lot of damage like a falling tree but ultimately they go down as well.

Unpopular to note, we didn't do much of anything when the wall fell other than rhetoric. It was primarily because the E. German regime was not regarded by its own citizens as legitimate.

It can but you can easily defeat a lot of the tactics if you really want to find out how. See EFF dot org for the latest in privacy tips.

287 269 I'm certain the IC can access the comments sections of any website and scrape the relevant data they want. Or the entire site contents. In fact, they probably do this routinely. However it takes time to do any sort of analysis if there is someone, or something of interest.

I doubt anyone here rises to the level the IC is interested in.

For now.

The IC are probably using AI models to do just that. The funny thing is that AI models turn out shit products once fed real data other than training data. But, the contractors and the agency want a bigger budget and AI is the way of the future versus hiring grubby human informants. They do the same management by fad to their own people that they subject the rest of us to.

294 Wow - the Dooming on here is unreal.

Half of the population of NH is in two adjacent counties, Hillsborough and Rockingham. The whole state is not very large, physically.

So what's the big deal about only having one field office? Maybe the Dems are just being Dems - wasting a lot of money on useless bureaucracy, to employ their cronies.

You have about the best candidate imaginable vs the absolute worst. The only way to lose the state is via election fraud, so if they have a way to address that - even a LITTLE bit better, and they DO - they're set.

296 71 Despite being Dem, NH still has no income tax and no sales tax. It’s not California or anything. The GOP should fight for it.

NH is not Dem. We have a Republican majority in the state House and Senate (barely) and a Republican governor. We are one of the most free states in the nation and a bastion in extremely liberal New England. It's a constant fight to keep it that way. The exception is that all our representatives at the federal level are Dem. That is in large part because there are boatloads of outside money from all kinds of lib groups sent into this state to elect liberal candidates. Stop wining and complaining and do something to contribute. Geesh.
