Well.
Let me just say that it would be a shit show.
It doesn't remove the President from office just takes his powers. But the President can say hey I am okay give them back. So the VP and Cabinet have 4 days to agree or not. If they agree he gets them back. If not they can say no, he's still not capable. Then it goes to Congress and 2/3 of BOTH houses have to agree that he's not capable. But he still remains in the office of President. Just the powers devolve to the VP as Acting President.
Or if they don't vote that way it goes back to the President.

He didn't think he needed to swear an oath having already done so, but he was persuaded to do so. And then he moved into the White House and that kind of settled the issue. Sort of.

We had a car show recently where a Tesla owner parked his car with a fancy sign talking about how it was the fastest sedan on earth and this that and the other.
Not one single person did much beyond laugh as they passed.
I decided that part of the problem is that you can't simultaneously insist that EVs are boring everyday commuters like a Honda Accord and everyone could drive one pain-free *and* they're something special to be admired like the slower but gorgeous and exhilarating Porsche GT3 parked next to it. Not to mention people who like car shows are usually interested in cars. Golf cars with funny cartoons painted on the back are slightly popular if the cartoon is clever enough, but that's about as far as it goes for golf carts unless they're 4x4 or something really unusual.

Not out of line at all. I owned a couple of pizza joints for 10+ yrs. Trained the staff to offer the specials if customer ordered without knowing. Customers appreciated it, told their friends, came back, etc. Hope the pizzas were delicious, Tonypete, regardless of price.

This was basically a group that formed a kind of labor union about 1000 years ago. Nobody is carrying water down from the moutains any longer, but the inherited pension system of retirment benefits was still chugging along, somehow.

Yes, he had major emergency surgery on October and then a follow up in March. Seems to have an obstruction now in the small intestine- not good because of ostomy... blah blah (I guess dad doesn't mind me telling his friends in little hey boxes how he is...) maybe an easy fix with no surgery of they can clear it... if not then maybe another surgery due to his "complicated condition"
Please pray for the easiest solution for him. He has only just been putting weight back on.

I decked the trailer at his place, and continued on in to Calgary to do some shopping that had to be done/ Stampeded is on, and, of course, many streets are torn up because the water system is crippled, due to lack of proper maintenance by a series of dumbass muslim mayors. Current one is a woman named Coyote Bulldyke, or something close to that.
But I persevered, and got my shopping done, headed back out, picked up the trailer, and made it home.

You want to use Morell, not Fiesta brand for the flavor, but no. I even have trouble with crisco, and it was made for pie crusts.
Once in a while it turns out OK, but I have to be extra careful with it, not make it when it is 90 out, I find if I use white rum instead of a dash of cold water for the final addition to it, I have slightly better luck.
I even was using pastry flour for the crust, and it still was little better than the ones I used to make with corn oil.

Please keep at it - it's worth it. Make sure your fat (whatever you use) is chilled and don't work it with your hands (so that it remains cool). I use a pastry blender until it it just crumbly and then gently roll it out.

Good day, for sure. But the Suburban gave me some grief. I started out with the transmission in tow/haul mode, and it was shifting up and down wildly for some reason. Put it back in normal mode, and all was well. And the cruise control was erratic, too. I think the cause is a weak return spring on the brake pedal, allowing the pedal to droop a little, kicking out the cruise. Might be the root of the transmission issue, too.

The real question is, how good was the pizza? 'Cause if you go raise a fuss, I'd advise against ever ordering from there again. But, yeah, they should have given you the deal. When we order Domino's pizza, we use a coupon for 1-topping pizzas. We only ever get cheese (which doesn't count as a topping), and have never had an issue.

You wanted oil? Easy. 10w30. Headlamps? They were all round, and fit different makes.
Pizza was kind of the same way. You want Pepperoni, or maybe Sausage? They didn't have fifty thousand choices, extra this or extra that, that I remember too much. We just ordered a couple extra large and they were pretty good sized.
Even coffee. I remember Folger's wasn't the best coffee in the world, but it was pretty strong if you made it that way. You could get Regular and Drip grind.
Now they have about 25 or 35 different kinds, with fancy names, and they all taste like shit to me. I think we're being scammed here. McDonald's use to sell burgers, fries, and shakes. Nothing else. Core competencies have to be met, before going off into la-la land the way I see it.

I was very happy when I moved to TX to buy my first 1/2 moo and 1/2 oink. Good price and yes, noticeably better than the grocery store stuff. There's local pastured chicken too, and I even found a place that will process your birds along with theirs.

Love it. Pretty rural here so we all share/trade wild game. Venison, pheasant, etc. A lot of self processing and/or a friend will have an at home smoker. No porky here, however. Been thinking about making some homemade bacon. Costco sells pork belly. Need to work that into the rotation.

I get the sentiment, but in reality it's not so bad regarding coolant.
Theres three kinds.
Most all modern cars use some sort of OAT. Yeah the different manufacturers have different colors, but they're all more or less the same makeup.
Except Dodge. They use HOAT. Because Mooar.
Fhen there's IAT, which is what everyone with a classic ar is used to. The green stuff.
There is a universal fluid available that you can mix with fhe others and not gel everything up.
I maintain a family fleet of 1984 to 2014 year GM, Mopar, FoMoCo, and a BMW. For fluid flush I'll use what the manual says to use, For top-offs I buy the yellow universal stuff that mixes with all the others.

I was very happy when I moved to TX to buy my first 1/2 moo and 1/2 oink. Good price and yes, noticeably better than the grocery store stuff. There's local pastured chicken too, and I even found a place that will process your birds along with theirs.

This'll be our 3rd half steer and first half pig.
The beef is grass-fed by a local farmer we have gotten to know.Good man.
The pork is from a family we found who has been raising pork for decades. We're hoping the pork will be as good as the beef.
Nothing like it.
I'm going to look into if the butcher (for the beef) will process chicken for us. We just dont have the bandwidth (yet) to raise AND slaughter them.

Today was a scorcher. I hit the highest yet, 98.4F with my station. We're in "moderate drought" (D1 level) now. We had a little thundershower this afternoon, hitting a little after 6PM, and I got 0.28" out of it.
Looking, GSP airport set a daily record, 100.9F, beating the old July 5th record of 99F. That's a relatively low high for July records. Most of the other days are 100 - 103F level, so this puts the 5th record in line with that.
July 1, 2012 was also the all-time high for GSP, 107F. I remember that one.
We're also flirting with highest lows are well for these dates, but won't quite make it.

When that shower hit, the temp dropped 15F from 91F down to 75F in less than 30 minutes, and then got down to 73Fish. That beat the early morning low.
This pretty oddball, when the daily lows occur in the late afternoon, not early morning. That early morning low was just a smidge lower than the highest low record for the 5th, but dropping it down after the shower pushed the daily low well below for me.
