  • Twitter is about to hide likes. (The Verge)

Which is to say, the like button will still be there, and the like count will still be there, and you'll be able to see which posts you liked and who liked your posts.

But you won't be able to see who liked someone else's posts. Just the count.

And the psychopathy rampant in The Verge's comment section shows that Elon Musk is entirely correct in pushing for this change.

From the Silicon Valley article...

“I haven’t gone on vacation in a long time,” DeWeese said. “I take shorter showers; I’m conscious about electricity usage; I sometimes buy groceries at the dollar store.”

27 Silicon Valley salaries are shrinking as the recession deepens.

Well, the tech is not new and exciting any more. The work does not have to be done out there and you get more people trying to compete for the jobs. Add that to companies importing employees who will work for less and you're going to get an expected result.

I am glad I left when I did and I'm happy for my friends who got into the tech sector early and are still stable.

Go home, Hillary. You are drunk again, and continue to be irrlelevent. You cause problems, not solve them.

When the burning times come, all these decadents will become luxury items. Slavery is the best they can hope for.

203 Pixy, I'm looking at pulling the trigger on an Asus M1505 since it's just price dropped but I'm wondering about your upgrade story: putting a 32GB SODIMM in the one available slot breaks dual channel and drops the RAM down to SDR. Do you notice a performance difference in your workloads, or does the extra RAM more than compensate?
