Her Majesty has made it to Rawlings, WY. Diana has been a good traveler, despite not eating her food and not exercising on a leash.
HM is only driving for 4 or 5 hours a day. Anything more in her condition is too tiring. Her knee hurts but she's in good spirits otherwise.

Why would they have to spend time going over each count, the counts were literally xeroxes of the first count.
The reason why there were 34 counts is because Michael Cohen was on retainer and got regular payments, the DA took each payment during the period in question and turned that into a count, he then attached the same unspecified federal election crime to each count thus turning what were statute of limitation misdemeanors into felony counts.
I don't even believe there were any holdout or jurists that needed convincing, all of the requested testimony read backs, which were probably directed by the two meathead lawyers that were on the jury, were simply to satisfy the elements of conspiracy and intent, to give the whole proceedings a gloss of legitimacy and earnestness.
This is all f**king horrible and I don't see any way out of what is coming next.

ASSUMPTION: No rational American operating on full information would want a person who was fairly convicted of a crime to serve as President.
FACTS:
1. Roughly half of America thinks Trump is a criminal whom the criminal justice system has treated fairly ("POV #1").
2. Roughly half of America thinks Trump is an innocent patriot who is being railroaded by fascists in a series of Stalinist show trials ("POV #2").
3. The American mass media heavily favors POV #1.
4. Most Americans form their political opinions based on the mass media.
5. POV #1 and POV #2 cannot both be right.
CONCLUSIONS:
(i) Given the opening assumption, half of America must be brainwashed regarding the Trump trials, as the huge divergence in opinions can only be explained by one half of America having bad information.
(ii) Brainwashing occurs in modern society through the mass media providing bad information.
(iii) The holders of POV #1 are brainwashed.
(iv) Democrats are brainwashed.

I am thinking a slow down would actually be achievable with just a few people.
For every single highway or artery into NYC, have each lane filled by a truck or car going exactly the minimum legal speed.
Let no one pass. That would cause at least a 10% delay during periods of light traffic. It might cause a 50% delay in periods of heavy traffic.
A significant delay on food trucks getting into the city will effect their supplies quickly due to the lack of excess inventory.
If non-participating truckers start taking a loss on loads going into NYC, then they might opt for other routes.
I am just fine with the actual Fascists in NYC starting to starve a little.
Just wait until the illegal aliens being fed by government largesse start to starve. The wailing will be epic!

My little small-town grocer here stopped using plastic bags; I think it was a government mandate. Stupid asses they be. They have "reusable" bags, but they cost a quarter. But what they do have is a big bin of empty cardboard cartons left over from stocking the shelves, and they let you grab one or two of those to pack your order into. Even better than bags.

Farm animal confinement buildings can be HUGE. If the smoke from those buildings could be seen on radar, those were not small buildings. Also keep in mind that the number could include chicks, which are tiny and don't require a lot of space.
(The chick pen happens to be at the end of the pet aisle at our Bomgaars, and JT is always very interested in them until we need his help in choosing a new toy.)

We had chickens growing up. Dad bought bulk cracked & flattened corn for them, and we supplemented with various grasses (including alfalfa). The times we were able to feed them fresh alfalfa resulted in eggs with yolks that were red-yellow, and the tastiest eggs I've even eaten.

I have a 400 watt portable solar panel and a 2000 watt storage battery. Together they can power about one hour of an average days 24 hour usage. Not great, but something.
Anyone who has read of Venezuela just a few years ago knows just how incredibly shitty things can get when the socialist/communist contingent get in power. Which they have now obviously achieved in the USA.

I know someone in her mid-30s who treks up there every other weekend to be a Labor and Delivery nurse as a second job. It's four hours away and she has two young kids that her mom watches for her. At some point, the reward of the insanely high pay she's getting won't outweigh the risk, but I fear that realization might come too late.

I buy one of those Cook's, or other brand, smoked ham 'steak'. I trim it, cube it, then crumble it in a food processor, adding a few ingredients to made my own ham salad. So much less oily/greasy than the canned deviled ham.
I also make my own 'roast beef spread' from a couple of chuck steaks. Trimmed, cubed, boiled in water and a little tomato sauce.
