I think Israel should make a pronouncement that any further ballistic missile attacks on the state of Israel will result in a disproportionate response upon the nation of Iran and the entirety of its people.

96 This is a further expression of something that has bothered me for going on 30 years.

So, Iran fires a bunch of munitions at Israel. Israel knocks them out of the sky. If they had hit Israel, there would have been a catastrophic loss of life. And yet because they did not hit, they are to be taken as no big deal. It is like if we had managed to fend off Pearl Harbor, then we should not have attacked Japan because there was no real harm to us.

It is play acting at war. While also NOT play acting.

And it leads to things like 10/7 which WAS a horror, but it is still treated the same way by these guys.

There is no 'proportionality' in war. Lives are on the line no matter what, and that is not a time for games. And yet we continue acting like it should be.

It's simply a way to act all moral and virtuous about engineering circumstances allowing more of our soldiers to get killed.

If I were Preezy and someone used that term to me:
1) if they were military, they'd be instantly cashiered.

BD Jr. recorded a bit out of his bedroom window. But a neighbor of ours took a great clip out of their window.

Just after 2 AM, the first intercept near our area of Jerusalem gave off the loudest boom. Heard them before. Only 10-15 seconds later did our area's sirens go off. Jerusalem itself is divided into multiple areas for siren warnings.

After the first intercept boom, we were already have way out of the house toward the building shelter when we heard several more distant explosions. At the end, everything here was intercepts.

Fun to join the neighbors in house robes at 2AM! A few seemed to have slept with their cloths on, as we all knew the ETA in advance.

People are getting confused. Israel’s air defense systems are not there to protect Iran from the consequences of its missile attacks. They are there to protect Israel. The U.S. and Israel both must treat the attack as if every one of those missiles had landed.
