Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | JudenratWe all know that Scheming Chuckie Schumer is a scummy prick with delusions of grandeur and an insatiable desire for self-aggrandizement. As the joke goes; the most dangerous place in D.C. is between Schumer and a camera. Oddly, he represents a state with a huge Jewish population, so one would assume that he would be more sensitive to the safety, security, and autonomy of the Jewish homeland. And of course, he's Jewish! But his progressive politics swamp any cultural or religious loyalty, and his only loyalty is to the reflexive liberalism of most American Jews. But that liberalism is being challenged by the naked anti-Semitism and virulent hatred of Israel that has come to the fore in the wake of the October 7th pogrom and the Israeli response. Large swathes of the Democrat party base have gone public with their hate, and have expressed it violently on the street and vilely in the halls of power.![]() During his speech, the New York Democrat reiterated his strong support for Israel but also heavily criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his repeated rejections of a two-state solution, saying at one point Israel’s leader has “lost his way.” “At this critical juncture, I believe a new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel, at a time when so many Israelis have lost their confidence in the vision and direction of their government,” Schumer said, noting the United States should not try to dictate the outcome of another country’s elections. That decision, Schumer added, is up to the Israeli public, “a public that I believe understands better than anybody that Israel cannot hope to succeed as a pariah opposed by the rest of the world.” Schumer, the highest-ranking Jewish official in U.S. politics, also called out other Israeli officials for what he said was “extremist” rhetoric. He cited Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and its National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir as examples for this. Smotrich, Schumer said, has openly called for the forced displacement of all Palestinians in the West Bank, and Ben-Gvir facilitated the “mass distributions of guns” to far-right settlers. He is bringing the politics of division and hatred from America to Israel, via the conflation of defense of country and culture with extremism and racism. Netanyahu was deeply disliked by many Israelis, but he is conducting the defensive war against Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north the way most Israelis want. The country was shaken to the core by the savagery of the October 7th pogrom, and is coalescing around love of country, pride in its armed forces, and a quiet and cold resolve that "Never Again" will never again be a mere catchphrase. Every time an American politician deigns to tell Israel how to conduct itself, the country becomes more unified. If it were up to many American and world politicians, Israel would have been overrun by the 7th century savages massed on its borders, with appropriately somber statements made after the fact. Schumer (and his fat-f*ck sidekick Jerry Nadler) is an insult to Judaism, an insult to the many Americans who are cheering Israel on in its existential fight against the barbarians, and an insult to the very concept of Western culture. And lest we forget, those barbarians have said time and time again that we are next! "First comes little Satan, then comes Great Satan!" Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

Schumer's staff probably (likely) nudged him into this position and/or wrote the talking points for him.
I have a hard time believing any politician has any sort of principled stance on anything unless; 1. their staff tells them so, and 2. there's money to be made. Staff, by the way, that is largely unelected by anyone or held accountable. Posted by: Martini Farmer at March 17, 2024 12:03 PM (Q4IgG) 6

Instead of putting pressure on Israel that fight a just war against a cruel enemy, put pressure on Hamas and their master, Iran. And everyone pretends like that data is accurate, as long as it fits the narrative. Perhaps the best historical analogy to Schumer would be a high official of the Yevsektzia, the Jewish Section of the USSR’s Communist Party.
Revolutions are insatiable and jealous gods. One of the Yevsektzia’s main jobs was extirpating Jewish beliefs that lessened Communism’s appeal to the Jewish masses. The particular enemies were Judaism itself and Zionism. Israel is Jewish and not only a nation but nationalist. Both are anathema to the globalists. Just to be clear: the Yesektzia’s members, like Schumer, were Jews. The Yevsektzia was purged in the late 1920s. Posted by: Peter B at March 17, 2024 12:27 PM (ZtAny) 82

“Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow." He was right, wasn't he.... Posted by: runner at March 17, 2024 12:27 PM (V13WU) 83

A couple of decades ago, a few people in Portland decided to have a "worst day of the year" bike ride, in part to demonstrate that it was possible to bicycle commute year-round in Portland. (I did that for a couple of years - it's doable, but requires a lot of dedication.) So, they would have the ride sometime in the first half of February, which yeah, probably qualifies as the worst weather of the year in Portland. The ride started getting quite popular, and they started getting complaints - that the weather was bad. So, they moved the date of the ride, which is going to happen next Sunday. It's 73 and sunny here today - the weather is not supposed to be as nice next Sunday, but "the worst day of the year" it ain't. They haven't changed the name of the ride, though. I strongly suspect there’s a deep state in Israel just as corrupt and self-loathing as our own….

One of the great "successes" of the left is building out an ideology that allows *anything* they do to be moral. You can look at this with their take on trannies. Opposition to transanity isn't wrong, or even discriminatory it is "literally genocide". So, in response to someone that's wrong you might talk to them. In relation to someone that is "discriminating" you might try to engage in changing laws. But genocide? Nothing is off the table in stopping genocide right? It has willing partners with Cyprus and Egypt but is opposed by Turkey which is aligned with Iran and vehemently supporting Hamas. I think Islam is just the excuse.
Thisis also the reason that Israel trusts Cyprus as a way station for aid to Gaza. A little bit like the old saw that if every Western really happened, the Old West would have had to last 700 years (and I heard that almost 50 year ago), we have an unlimited capacity for suddenly re-discovering Oppenheimer's life and times. Frankly I am suspicious.
I stumbled across a bit part role of Joseph Wiseman (Dr. No) and looked him up. His real major claim was a German-written Broadway play that swept all before it in the late 60's, "In The Matter of J. The linked article links to a literature review study from NYU Medical School. I'll point to one key quote regarding the estimated incidence of Long COVID in children that pretty much sums up the topic: The incidence of [Long COVID] in children is less well-characterized than in adults and varies widely, ranging from 4% to 62% across existing large studies 4 to 62 percent. Really? The fact that this review included cases as defined by three different groups (the NIH, WHO and "a group of experts") explains some of this. Must read Nate Silver article, I'd suggest: "Democrats Are Hemorrhaging Voters of Color." The article is everywhere, & rather startling, all the more so coming from a corrupt DEM shill like Silver.
Trump has gained NOTHING among white voters since 2020-- nada; zip. But Trump's gains among Latino & AA voters are eye-opening. To forestall the argument that polls don't correlate with real election results, Silver illustrates his point with actual election results from a tiny all-Latino TX county, and with results from all the boroughs in NYC. That's where the 2024 action is. "Voters of color" increasingly share the same views on immigration & inflation that white voters have. Otoh, it appears to me that Trump & the GOP are likely to be outspent appx 10-1 this cycle. Posted by: mnw at March 17, 2024 01:38 PM (NLIak) 248

White college non-grads are static for Trump since he basically has the entire demographic already. And 65+ have moved Dem as well. And yes non-white voters have moved towards Trump. Pls read Silver's article. There is empiric evidence on offer therein that "voters of color" are walking the walk, not just talking the talk. ___ There can't be much empirical evidence since 2024 hasn't happened yet. I don't doubt the polling says what Nate wrote. I'm saying until the election happens, we can't know if the polling will translate to votes. Posted by: Montec at March 17, 2024 01:53 PM (bWsRe) 272

In neither 2016 nor 2020 did Trump ever have a sustained lead in the polls, such as he's now had for months. Posted by: mnw at March 17, 2024 01:50 PM In 2016 I 'followed' an LA Times 3 day tracking poll daily. It was neck and neck with Trump a couple points behind until the day Hillary was beaten down with the bollard of death. After that, in 3 days he was ahead all the way up to the election. But those were the 'before' times when voters preferred a healthy candidate. Before the cheat. Posted by: Divide by Zero at March 17, 2024 01:55 PM (RKVpM) 274
And if you want to know why the Jews no longer matter in US politics, almost half are in NY. Illinois - because of Chicago - is next tied with Pennsylvania - I assume because of Philly.
The dems are in no danger of losing any of these areas. So they, the Jews, will be sacrificed rather easily to maintain the islamic enclaves in Dearborn and Minneapolis/St. Paul Posted by: Black JEM at March 17, 2024 01:55 PM (UVyKP) 275

The TRENDLINE of actual election results is right there, if anyone is willing to read it.
The word "hemorrhaging" votes isn't an exaggeration. There is statistical evidence. Remember this is Silverhack-- he can't have enjoyed reporting what he's seeing very much. Posted by: mnw at March 17, 2024 01:58 PM (NLIak) 278

On this date in 2016, Hillary was up 8.0 and in 2020 Biden was up 6.4. FWIW Posted by: Montec at March 17, 2024 02:01 PM (bWsRe) 282

The arrogance of any American to tell ANYONE in the MENA what to do is astonishing. Because we are so bright and insightful? Chuck must have been asleep since 9/11. We know nothing about the world, we want to run it and won't be happy until it is destroyed.
I am looking for a better foreign policy for America. Maybe George Washington and John Adams should be our guides. Posted by: jimmymcnulty at March 17, 2024 02:15 PM (zBVqU) 284
I voted for Trump in the primary and will vote for him in the general election. I've been voting for MAGA candidates locally and will do so as long as elections or me continue. (After I'm no longer here, I suspect my voting patterns will change.)
However, I do suspect that even getting Trump elected will be similar to smearing Neosporin on the forehead of someone dying of sepsis and thinking everything will be OK. Posted by: Richard Cranium at March 17, 2024 02:15 PM (1IJYW) 285

Schumer's speech was not aimed at Israeli voters, it was aimed at American Jews, many of whom reflexively don't like Netanyahu because they've been told that he's "right wing", not that they really know anything about Israeli politics.
The speech was about shoring up Jewish votes for Democrats. With the exception of a small number of self-haters on the staff of Ha'aretz, just about every political commentator in Israel, even those on the left, has said that Schumer's speech increased support for Netanyahu in Israel. Re: Long COVVID, there were two statements on Pixy's threrad..
1. As many as 5.8 milllion chilldren may have ong COVID. This is not true. That number is ridiculous on its face. , 2. There is no such thing as Long COVID. That is not true either. There are undoubtedly some individuals whose immune system reacts badly to spike protein (or some other component of SARS) and develop long-term consequences (end organ inflammation, clotting disorders, whatever. But it is not a single well-defined entity. Thus the multiple case definitions, which leads to including lots of unrelated conditions. There is a reason that symptoms of sup[posed LLong COVID are so vague. If a patient says, "Doctor, I have a fever." the doctor can say "No you don't, your temp is 98.4" If a patient says, "Doctor, I have a headache and brain fog the Doctor can't objectively measure that. Ergo: must be Long COVID, QED Posted by: Muldoon at March 17, 2024 02:29 PM (991eG) 288

Regarding Godzilla, the movie already deals with the bomb issue, I think. The Japanese soldiers and people are in despair over their part in the war and in Japan's horrible, unjust imperialism.
So hopefully he knows the truth. And yes, go see Godzilla! Much better than Oppenheimer. Posted by: PJ at March 17, 2024 06:16 PM (G1dq6) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0602 seconds. |
