The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

Adam Schiff is a doctrinaire leftist without a shred of integrity, and is willing to lie (and probably cheat and steal) to further his political desires. And those desires are clear: power...specifically government power over us. He will pander to the most base instincts of his voting bloc, and today that is virulent anti-Semitism, in the form of brazen attacks on Israel.

Never mind that the brutality of the Hamas pogrom on October 7th included wholesale rape and other sexual violence. Never mind that the UN report specifically discusses violence against women in "Palestine!"

Rep. Adam Schiff Co-Sponsors Resolution Accusing Israel of Sexually Harassing Muslim Women

"Whereas 59 percent of Palestinian women and girls have reported experiencing at least one form of gender-based violence, according to the United Nations Population Fund, and news outlets have reported that Palestinian women have been harassed at checkpoints and while in custody, according to testimony submitted to the United Nations;"

That's called lying. He supports a resolution that falsely connects a UN report on violence against women in Gaza, Judea and Samaria with reports that women are "harassed" at checkpoints. You know, the checkpoints that Israel sets up to allow Arab workers into Israel without allowing them to bring guns and suicide vests.

And Schiff, who cloaks himself in the armor of being descendants of people who fled the Holocaust, is willing to inflame his base with support for this insane resolution, that of course emerged from the fetid Jew-hating Michigan delegation in the house.

That's who the Democrat party is. That's who many Jewish Democrats are. They use their Jewishness as a political tool, but their real religion is progressivism, otherwise known as the naked pursuit of power. They are not real Jews, and they certainly don't support the only Jewish state in the world, even though it is a vibrant democracy, and the tip of the spear in the fight against Islamic expansionism.

At least the Arabs in Dearbornistan and the Somalis in Mogadishu on the Mississippi have some philosophical underpinning to their Jew hate. It is understandable, although not acceptable in a free society such as ours.

What's Schiff's excuse, other than channeling Stalin?

Seems like this is being slow-rolled. The pics I’ve seen of these temporary piers are pretty simple pre-fab squares you just attach together. No way it takes two months to do that. I don’t think it would take more than a week or maybe two.

"Unwanted kissing" counted as "sexual assault".

A problem was that most of the students that the feminists thought were "sexually assaulted" didn't think that they had been "sexually assaulted".

Honestly, I have no idea.

That the people who constantly whine about micro-aggressions and racist dog-whistles (i.e. no racism, just a gut feeling there might be badthink) can wave away the barbaric horrors of October 7th completely baffles me.

Regardless of past behavior against each other, what Hamas did to Israelis and foreigner Jews is so horrific the mind shuts down; you cannot comprehend the feral violence. And it wasn't just Hamas soldiers - they were the first wave of that day's attacks. There were two additional waves (hours in between, thus catching Israelis attempting to recover off-guard) that included additional brutal violence and destruction by civilians, including women and children. Worse, Hamas has said they will keep doing this until they get what they want.

Whining about Palestinian women getting harassed has got to be, at best, a pathetic coping mechanism, a way for Schiff to fall into comfortable routine, because he has not the courage or the political capacity to deal with reality of the situation in Israel today.

Wife had that long, beautiful hair. Have a picture of her pregnant with our first; her hair went all the way down to her waist. In later years, the chemo took that out, and it was no longer than just below her shoulders for a short period before the cancer came back metastatically.
