In 2020, US Border Patrol released 359 detainees into the United States with a notice to appear in the entire year. In 2023 the number was over one million.

Kerpen provides this stunning graphic:

Nikki Haley has requested Secret Service protection. She claims she's experiencing "increased threats."

It should be noted that candidates want Secret Service protection not just for the protective benefit, but for the political impact: Being protected by Secret Service agents indicates you're a very important person, like a president, almost.

It should also be noted that Biden denied RFK, Jr.'s request for SS protection, despite three of his family members being assassinated. (Ted Kennedy was assassinated by a conspiracy between his liver and Chivas Regal.) Biden doesn't want to grant RFK, Jr. any additional legitimacy, and is willing to risk his life to deny him that legitimacy.

We'll see if Biden approves Nikki Haley's request, to make her a more potent competitor to Trump. I think he will. Because these people are brazen and no longer respect any boundaries at all.

Californians vote election after election and referendum after referendum to restrict energy production, but are shocked that their electricity bills are rising.

This is because the state is filled with fucking retards who are attracted to the mild weather because they're too stupid to know how to dress for rain and cold.

Some California residents are "stunned" by the high cost of their latest electric and gas bill, after a major utility company raised prices for millions of customers last month.

"It's almost like you're getting punished," 90-year-old Dorothy Lovell told The San Francisco Chronicle. The Santa Rosa resident's utility bill was $696.64 in January.

"I really was not prepared," longtime San Francisco resident Rebecca Gallegos told the paper after her bill increased by $162 from the month prior. "I'm blown away."

Utility company Pacific Gas and Electric Co. "PG&E" announced in November that their customers would be paying about $35 more a month on their utility bills in 2024 after the California Public Utilities Commission approved the new rates. That adds up to over $400 extra a year.

PG&E said it would be making improvements to power lines and gas pipeline safety after years of devastating wildfires, the Chronicle reported.

Note they don't say they'll be expanding energy production.

The San Francisco toy store that inspired Toy Story is shutting down, for all the usual leftwing governmental reasons.

The oldest toy store in San Francisco, which was the inspiration for the movie Toy Story, is shutting its doors for good due to rampant crime and other issues.

Jeffrey's Toys said Friday it will be permanently closed by the end of February after 86 years of serving customers, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Attorney Ken Sterling said, "The store has been struggling for a number of years, due to the perils and violence of the downtown environment, inflatio, the decrease in consumer spending and the demise of retail across the world."

Three of those reasons are the fault of Biden and his leftwing party. The fourth reason is due to the tech sector and it's unending "disruption" of everything good and wholesome.

Chris Christie: I'm still considering a No Labels third party presidential run, and also, I'm considering microwaving an apple fritter and topping it with vanilla ice cream.

Holy shit I just made that up and it sounds AWESOME.

Anyway:

"Oh, I don’t know. There'd be a long conversation between me and [my wife] Mary Pat, I can guarantee you that," Christie said when asked on "Good Morning America" if he would consider running on a No Labels ticket.

This is Liz Cheney's party.

Arabs and Muslims and other progressive cult groups are referring to Biden as "Genocide Joe," due to his failure to fully embrace the terrorist group Hamas.

Former Obama apparatchik Van Jones was on CNN Thursday, applying heavy pressure to Old Joe Biden to get him to end the U.S. alliance with Israel and abandon the Jewish state to the tender mercies of Hamas and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Today's youth, said Jones, and remember, the children are our future and all that, have a cutting new nickname for the sinister old kleptocrat in the Oval Office: Genocide Joe. And if Old Joe doesn't throw Israel to the wolves, and pronto, that nickname is going to stick. What Jones didn't say, however, was the most important point of all: Israel is not committing a genocide at all, and this claim is a product of leftist and jihadi propaganda, to which young people today are disturbingly susceptible.

Jones' warning comes amid ongoing efforts to force Biden to betray Israel by threatening him at the ballot box. Nihad Awad, the executive director of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), who infamously said that he was "happy" about Hamas' Oct. 7 jihad massacre of 1,200 Israelis, thundered at a November pro-Hamas rally: "No cease-fire, no votes. No votes in Michigan, no votes in Arizona, no votes in Georgia, no votes in Nevada, no votes in Wisconsin, no votes in Pennsylvania." These were, of course, the states that allowed Old Joe to pretend to be president over the last three years. Awad concluded: "No votes for you anywhere if you don't call for a ceasefire now." Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah) added: "The American people won't forget. Biden, support a ceasefire now. Or don't count on us in 2024."

Now, according to a Saturday Fox News report, Old Joe is "facing an electoral revolt among Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan who are outraged by his ongoing support for Israel, with some even accusing him of enabling genocide." They've even launched an "abandon Biden" campaign in Dearborn. On CNN, Erin Burnett told Jones about a former Biden campaign prole who told a CNN reporter "that he will not vote for Biden again even knowing that it may help Trump. He says Biden is 'not somebody I can trust.'"

MSNBC hears from the barbershop that some blacks favor Trump over Biden.

Sometimes it's not complicated:

Kinard Givens: "A lot of my friends we've only voted once, and Trump is kind of all we know -- Trump and Biden. And they're like, 'Well, we were broke with Biden. We weren't with Trump.' And that's kind of the only thing that I'm hearing over and over again is that 'with Trump, we had money.'"

This is why ridiculous black partisans (and racists) Jim Clyburn and Joy Reid are making such absurd claims about Biden's "success," particularly with respect to "Bidenomics:" Black men are not only cool on Biden but warm-ish on Trump, so black men are going to get an intense barrage of propaganda from now until election day.

While polling suggests President Joe Biden remains significantly more popular with black voters than his GOP rivals, Democratic allies believe one thing has caused him to lose support among the voting group.

Biden won the South Carolina Democratic primary by a landslide margin on Saturday, but turnout was notably diminished, leading some critics to air concerns about enthusiasm for the president's reelection bid. South Carolina's Democratic Party Chairwoman Christale Spain told NOTUS the turnout was due to "people not knowing the information" rather than a lack of enthusiasm.

"We needed to educate our voters and create a space for our candidates to come talk about their record," Spain said. "That's really why we launched this historic effort, to fill what I feel is an information gap and not an enthusiasm gap."

The president has lagged in polls with key minority voting groups, including with black voters. Democrats typically win the vast majority of black voters, but a USA Today-Suffolk University poll released last month showed Biden with only 63% of the black vote, which is roughly 24% lower than what he got in 2020.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Jamie Harrison echoed Spain's concerns, attributing the low turnout to disinformation while defending Biden's record.

"I think there's a lot of disinformation out there," Harrison told NOTUS. "There are a lot of folks who don't want this president for whatever reason, and I think some foreign and some domestic. They don't want the record to be straight in terms of what this president has done and accomplished."

Expect the Fake Republican opinion outlets like The Dispatch to echo the Democrat talking points. Jonah Blimpberg will soon be talking about "the real Biden economic record."

Well yes AND.

Only those never tagged are "illegal aliens". But, since never accounted for, they cannot be counted and are unknown.

69 PGE charges 3X the National Avg Nat Gas price.

They do it because a bunch of us went solar, which killed the Electricity revenue stream.

The only electricity bill I had last year, was the obligated $30 per month admin fee.... even though I sucked power from their lines and infrastructure as needed all year.

Clearly politics trumped basic economics... just like our failed High Speed Rail to nowhere.

115 "Republicans" who voted not to impeach Mayorkas:
Republicans who voted against the Mayorkas impeachment articles agreed with Democrats on the failings of the articles, with Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) writing in a 10-page memo opposing the move that his GOP colleagues “fail to identify an impeachable crime that Mayorkas has committed. In effect, they stretch and distort the Constitution.”

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) echoed those arguments in an op-ed, aligning with Democrats in casting it as a policy disagreement.

Republicans entered the vote with two expected “no” votes, but then a third House GOP lawmaker, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), also voted against impeachment.

A fourth Republican, Rep. Blake Moore (Utah), then voted against the bill for the purpose of bringing it back up.

Immigrants Make America Stronger and Richer
Feb. 5, 2024
By Paul Krugman

https://www.nytimes.com/ 2024/02/05/opinion/ immigration-republicans-economy.html

Modern nations can't - practically or politically - have open borders, which allow anyone who chooses to immigrate.

The good news is that America doesn't have open borders, and there is no significant faction in our politics saying we should. In fact, immigrating to the United States legally is fairly difficult.

The bad news is that we're having a hard time enforcing the rules on immigration, mainly because the relevant government agencies don't have sufficient resources. And right now, the reason they don't have those resources is that many Republicans in Congress, while fulminating about a border crisis, appear determined to deny the needed funding.

Santa Barbara County, it started raining Saturday night and all day Sunday. We only had about 4 inches. It was dry all day yesterday but a few showers overnight. It's sprinkling right now and supposed to rain tomorrow.

Also it begs the question, not that Trump Haters want to talk about it, of did Trump only hire obvious known traitors, or were some of these traitors "turned" via threats etc?

Krugman stated that evil people had installed kiddie porn on his computer, but he was saved by the New York Times IT department.

258 What a wreck the Dem Commies have made out of California. I was a frequent visitor in Marine Corps days. During a 96 hour RON, I ran into a friend who invited me to stay with him and his bride for the weekend. They lived in a very, very modest house, on the poor side of PCH. Laguna Beach area. Had to walk across the highway to get to the beach. Friend was all pissed off because they weren't up high on the base housing list and the landlord was getting ready to sell. He was planning on a base job when he got out and I asked why he wouldn't buy the shack. "Bill, the sonofabitch wants $25K". Early 70s.

This is something I keep harping on... the blacks are being displaced with illegals and they are NOT happy about that.

Forget the percentage of black votes for the Democrats for now. They're so pissed off they'll either stay at home and just hand over their ballots to Democrat operatives, or vote "differently." Many are deciding on "differently." Rather than allow their arch enemies, the browns, to take over their turf.

Will it swing the selection of prez? Dunno. Maybe. Maybe not.
