The Fabulous and I are only humans and we occasionally disagree with one another. But after reading the following story I think we are saints. Genius Award Winner.

Minnesota mom arrested for alleged sexual romp with two boys, 15, after spat with hubby

From hot tub to hotel room, a Minnesota mom was arrested for alleged criminal sexual conduct with two boys she claimed “she wasn’t going to go through with.”

Marital issues were reportedly blamed for 39-year-old Allison Leigh Schardin’s alleged felonies in mid-January when her family found themselves staying at the same hotel as a visiting hockey team. According to a report from the Star Tribune, after being arrested Thursday the mother of two young sons admitted to sexual contact with two 15-year-old boys she’d engaged with in a poolside chat.

She was a lonely sort, just a little too short
Her jokes were dumb and her fav'rite sport
Was hockey (in the winter)
(. . . he shoots . . . he scores!)

He was duly impressed and was quick to suggest
Any sport with a PUCK had to be 'bout the best
As he jabbed his elbow in her
(. . . rude!)

Hockey, Irish Setters, Zappa & Genius Award Winner all in one. You're welcome.

There has to be an easier way to keep the Ninjas away. Just ask our Genius Award Winner.

A Marietta man is accused of shooting 127 rounds at “ninja like” people he believed were after him.

Richard Ray West, 37, is accused of shooting approximately 127 rounds from a 40-caliber handgun, while under the assumption that “ninja like” people were after him, on Jan. 18 between midnight and 9:28 a.m. The incident occurred in and around the property of J & R Cycle Shop, 1431 Canton Road in Marietta, near the intersection of Dickerson Road and Canton Road NE, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.

With people like this, perhaps we are not Doomed. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

QUEMADO, Texas — Some twenty miles north of the Texas-seized border park in Eagle Pass, Texas, hundreds of rallygoers congregated on a private ranch in the small border community of Quemado. A crowd of what appeared to be more than 500 people gathered and listened to inspirational speeches and Christian music on a warm Saturday afternoon. One of the event organizers told Breitbart Texas the group intends to carry out a peaceful demonstration with a message of prayer for the security of the United States.

At the ranch’s gate, volunteers with the “Take Our Border Back Rally” identified those seeking to enter and allowed media from across the country to cover the rally. Inside the small ranch, food trucks and vendors selling patriotic t-shirts, caps, and other items were posted near a stage where a band played Christian music.

Turns out it matters who is in charge.

@Speaker Johnson

I’ve seen enough. This bill is even worse than we expected, and won’t come close to ending the border catastrophe the President has created. As the lead Democrat negotiator proclaimed: Under this legislation, “the border never closes.”

37 More problems in the justice system.

Collin Rugg
@CollinRugg
This is insane.

A Bronx family court judge allegedly tried hooking up on a swinger app with a mom whose custody case she was hearing.

47-year-old Judge Cynthia Lopez reached out to Sydney Southerland on the 3Fun app.

Southerland, who's trying to get her kids back, shot back and said: "B*tch, you know who the f**k I am."

The public profile claims Lopez is bis*xual and has a male partner named 'Ant.'

"We love thick girls just as much as we love petite girls! At the end of the day it’s all about personality. Guys at the most should be stocky and I the female, prefer males to be somewhat endowed," the profile read.
"POV: you’re currently going to family court and the judge who acts like she hates you, inboxes you on a swingers dating app… a week before the next court date," Southerland said on TikTok.
Lopez has since announced her recusal from the case.
The lovely 'justice' system for you.

This started during 2022, as I recall. Every few months I get a letter from them asking for support and donations. I have only ever received letters to my dad when they come “from” Biden.

Until, that is, this week, when my dad received a letter from Nikki Haley.

144 I realize I am outing myself as philistine sub-human filth, but I've never heard a Zappa song I was interested in hearing twice. I have concluded he was a performance artist commenting on contemporary music/society (an Andy Kaufman type, in my mind) rather than someone trying to write a catchy tune.

Much like I want a tasty meal out of a chef, I just want a catchy tune out of my musicians. I simply do not care if they are are impeccable on their instruments, though that probably helps. And I do not care what they think about anything at all.

If Zappa had an awesome tune I am ignorant of, I would sincerely love to hear it. As it stands, his veneration seems like a joke I'm not allowed in on because I don't know the secret handshake. (and the secret handshake could easily be NOT being hopelessly musically ignorant with a tin ear) Regardless, here I am, willing to lose my ignorance, but suspecting it's been a joke on me all along.

Headstrong newbie Ted Sturgeon (I'm seeing Timothy Chalamet here) joins the elite Kansas Fish Confiscation squad, and has a lot of lessons to learn under the tutelage of team leader Lieutenant Ernest Trout (Will Ferrell). His reckless ways result in a partner getting finned, and he's got to pull it all together to redeem himself as a confrontation looms with sinister trot-line master and dynamite fishing enthusiast the Nightcrawler (Gary Busey). Can Sturgeon make the grade? Will Trout make it to retirement? Is spinner bait all it's cooked up to be?

Texas has Sen. Ted Cruz, one of the best State Solicitor Generals, ever. When he's on his game, he's a great Senator. Just needs to be On His Game, with much more consistency.

On the other hand, there's John Wayne McCornyn. He wears a by-golly COWBOY hat! And pressed, creased jeans. And bespoke, handmade Luchese boots that cost thousands!

He fancies himself a Brahmin, but I call BULL on that.

Cornyn is SO Chamber of Commerce, that Eyepatch McCain gave Cornyn an honorary eyepatch with "V" for Vermin device, affixed.

The wee tiny ones could not cut those flutes in ANY number of passes, they lack the geometry to be able to do so.

Glad you got you a router table. Doing those cabinet doors just became a lot more fun and a lot less work.

The ONLY good result of the border bill sellout MIGHT be that Sinema will be unelectable in AZ. She was one of the 3 "negotiators" who conspired to destroy what little is left of our nation. (Lankford & Murphy were the other azaleas.)

I just can not believe that AZ voters will approve what Sinema "negotiated"-- not with AZ being on the frontline of the invasion.

I think I have seen Freud router bits and other cutters at Home Depot, but maybe not their best lines. I have one extra door from the set that went into my lower cabinets. I can disassemble that, and take a piece of the milled edge strip in to the store to get a bit that matches the profile. I think it is an ogive?

And I probably have enough prefinished oak-veneered 3/4" plywood for the upper cabinets if I dismantle the 20-buck oak entertainment center that I bought at Sunshine Acres Thrift Store. The top of each cabinet is the ceiling. One side of each is the wall. Only the inboard side of each, facing the kitchen window, needs to be finished oak. The bottoms could be finished oak, but white melamine-coated MDF would be fine, too, as they will each have a lamp fixture inset, and are below eye level for an adult user.

Don't have a clue about bearskin rugs. In front of a fireplace could be an issue with those pesky embers popping out. Just trying to improve yer fantasy.

239 Alice Cooper is one of those guys that seems to know everybody in show biz - he struck up a friendship with an elderly Groucho Marx, for example, and spoke of how when Groucho couldn't get to sleep, he'd call Alice and the two of them would watch old movies together, with Groucho pointing out the inside baseball. One thing I remember is that Alice said Groucho would comment on the various actresses that he or his brothers had scored with. "She was a peach! Harpo nailed her!" "Yeah, that was a notch on Chico's bedpost!"

240 AOP. Go to the Freud website, and compare to what you see at the big box store. The selection is Imagination Fuel, for sure.

There is an Ogive bit, and a Roman Ogive bit. And, yeah. Taking a work-sample in to compare is wise.

294 The border bill is INSANE.

If you actually look at the language, first, the 5000 number isn't even accurate.

It has to be over 5000 for SEVEN CONSECUTIVE DAYS. 8500 is the actual 'real' cutoff in a single day.

And that's even if we trusted them to report accurate numbers in the first place! They'd just order cutbacks on the patrols to reduce the number of encounters, or just outright lie about the number.

And what actually happens when the number is hit? They are required to 'declare an emergency'. Which does... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except give the Secretary the OPTION to start turning people away. Which is a joke, Mayorkas won't do crap.

This bill is the absolute worst thing they could have come up with that isn't the sentence 'the border of the United States no longer exists'.

Every Republican that 'negotiated' this insanity needs to be thrown out immediately.
