I happened to watch a particular rabbit's stream last night. Or should I say a small part. It had come on in the background and I wasn't paying particular attention and only noticed when she started yelling out word random word combinations over and over again. I dunno on this one. Anyone buying a super bowl ticket. I'd have to sell my house to afford the ticket (1) and stay at a hotel/casino on the strip for a couple nights. Between room, ticket, losses at the casino, 98 percent of us couldn't even think of going. But the stadium will be overflowing, watching the game from the high end sets up in the stratosphere. Who says the economy is in the dumps.

I think there used to be an App like Infinite Craft. Pretty much the same thing, but with actual graphics. I wanna say it was Alchemy, or something with Alchemy in the title.
Im now on the search for a good time killer app. I used to play Final Fantasy Record Keepers, but that shut down. Then Dragon Quest Tact.... which is now shutting down. Hopefully something similar comes along that you don't have to pay money to enjoy. The librarian at my son's school wrote an e-mail to thank me for sending a card to thank him for his kindness to my son. My son is apparently one of the few young men who actually takes out books. and they sometimes chat about books. Anyway, his reply got snowed under a lot of spam before I found it. We had a nice e-mail conversation about how we have too many books and need to cull some or our poor kids will have to deal with them.

I think somebody posted this a few days ago here about some "scholar" giving courses at an Episcopal Church as an outreach to the LBGT community. One was about Joseph and his many colored coat- a story of being non binary. Another one was about the Sapphic support of Naomi and Ruth. Uhhh, No! Joseph wasn't non binary and Naomi and Ruth were mother in law and daughter in law. It is not about lesbians. What a disgrace to Biblical scholarship!

Because he is a lying lier, what lies. It's what they do. Plus it was nice how he moved the discussion to failing to tell the President about his diagnosis. These extra costs are linked to a growing problem with Britain’s outdated electricity network: On blustery days, too much wind power risks overloading the system, and the grid operator must respond by paying some firms not to generate. This “curtailment” costs consumers hundreds of millions of pounds each year.

The winning 2018 DARPA bid – for a project called PREEMPT – was led by Dr. Vincent Munster (pictured above) based at Anthony Fauci’s NIH Rocky Mountain Lab. Both Munster’s PREEMPT proposal and Baric’s losing DEFUSE project had the same basic idea: to try to prevent a (hypothetical) future pandemic by using an engineered virus to vaccinate the bats from which it is believed such a virus was likely to spill over. The idea being, of course, that the vaccinated bats would no longer be a reservoir for the virus, thus ‘defusing’ or ‘preempting’ the zoonotic spillover.

Whether we go out to eat will depend on how heavy the rain is this evening. I'd rather not spend the money, so dinner at home sounds good. The Killer Kittens From Outer Space are well. One thing concerns me: Stirling, the big black, has thinner spots in his plush black coat. Not down to bare skin, I don't think it's ringworm, but there are small areas on his inner forelegs and rear legs where you can see the fur is thinner. I wonder if it's his diet? What I've seen is that businesses gave up on trying to have any sort of web presence and gave all of their business over to facebook as their "website"
Which is convenient, I guess. Except for users who are interested in your services and who want to read or contact you about your services and are met with a "if you'd like to see this page you have to join facebook. Go on, everyone is doing it. When you sign up you can give us access to all of your contacts and other information to make your experience easier!" message instead of details about the business. I get that it's easy and humans are lazy, but it drive me away. I also assume Facebook is the one making all of the money from the ads that appear when people visit your page for your business, which is comical. There was a total of 40 393 severe COVID-19 outcomes in the cohorts, with 14 156 of these in undervaccinated participants. We estimated the reduction in severe COVID-19 outcomes in the UK over 4 months of follow-up associated with a counterfactual scenario in which everyone was fully vaccinated on June 1, 2022 as 210 (95% CI 94–326) in the 5–15 years age group.
So 210/40393=0.0051. One Half of one percent of 5 to 15 YO had severe COVID. But that number includes approx Two thirds that we fully vaccinated and most likely even boosted. Posted by: rhennigantx at February 03, 2024 07:27 AM (ENQN6) 164

- I personally know two families with adult brothers and sisters, the oldest of the lines, who aren't on speaking terms because of social media. They'll die without loving on the only family they've got left for the last decades of their lives because someone thumbs-upped or didn't respond to something. Social media is a cancer. I halfway wonder if that wasn't the point, same as we saw with the feds pushing the psy-war to pit families against families over COVID. I have one hell of a FB story I might write about some day. Like Muldoon, who may never know the answer, I may neither. Unless someone decides to have a death bed confession. Death bed confessions used to get a lot of play in movies ages ago. Not so much anymore. I guess people aren't worried about going to meet their maker with a lie on their conscience. Well, it’s going to stop. Americans, we’re tired of being played for suckers. And that’s why we’re going to keep these guys — keep on them and get the prices down.

Okay quick question: has anyone, at a tech company, ever seen them have the head of operations report to the VP of Marketing? He was reporting directly to the CEO. I've not been impressed with her and think this is a bad sign.

biden and food prices. He's delusional. 2 examples of how crazy it's gotten and I don't expect the prices to go back to where they were. Columbo Italian salami, had been 5.99 now 10.98. Rao frozen meatballs in marinara had been 8.99 now 16.99 The salami has been a favorite for cocktail hour and the meatballs were very convenient on a busy day for a quick meal, both delicious. Can I afford them, yes. Will I pay these prices, no. Companies do not raise prices like this in a thriving market for profit, they raise prices because they have to due to overhead in what we have now, an inflationary market. joe is asshole.

I love Fiats, Triumphs, MGs, etc. I don't have much of a desire to mess with them again right now in my life, but I'm still really fond of almost all of them. The TR7 is the only exception, and it summons only pity when I see it.

Had farcebook for a while, but bailed. Got too depressing after a while with all the damn politics.
Think my account is inactive -- did what I could to kill it -- but it's probably still live somewhere in the dungeons of Zuckerberg Castle. Not that it matters, because I haven't been logged into it in years. The businesses and city offices that do everything through farcebook annoy me, though. If you can at least see the info you need without logging in, fine. But there are some who don't seem to understand that not everyone uses it. Sorry rhennigantx. My wife is the Facebook maven. I just see the results. She has a small business and marketing background. I come from a large business, middle management background. We stumbled into this business by accident because we heard nothing but horror stories about marketing/service companies for our product. We maintain a basic website which we direct everyone to and still use other marketing channels but Facebook has given us the best bang for the bucks.
