6 Olive oil in coffee? Reminds me of the flap about some additive they tried putting in potato chips in the late '90s that had people dashing for the head, or worse, leaking while asleep. It also had the letters "olea" in it. Anybody remember?

I discovered Edge did this shit when I installed Win 11 to play with. This was a clean install to a new partition. I hadn't even installed Chrome or Firefox, and Edge popped up with all my favorites and bookmarks.

The damned thing imported this from a Chrome installation on another partition Windows was installed to.

I have several Windows installs on different partitions. Edge imported from the first one it found, I think, which turned out not to be my main install of Win 10, but another one. I realized this when I noticed some of the bookmarks weren't there, and finally figured out, oh, that was from another Chrome instance.

It's not. One man managed to pretty much accomplish it while both parties (including Ted Cruz) furiously and angrily fought against him at every decision.

That's what makes it so irritating. It would be trivially easy to end 90% or so of the illegal crap right now, and send 90% of the illegals home over the next two years.

But they represent money laundering, House representation, and outright votes to continue the money laundering part.

Also I no longer have any real doubt there is some sort of collaboration/agreement with cartels, be it formal or informal. Both authorities get what they want in this setup.

185 In my little corner of NoVA, there are those snotty, pretentious, We Believe signs in the front yards. Then it lists a cascade of Proggy beliefs. Every owner of said sign MUST take in a couple of families from the rich diversity of our globe pouring over the wide open borders.

They BELIEVE after all.

188 And when the shy lady sea turtles comes out of her shell, the male turtle has to be very careful while dating in case he says something to hurt her and she had turtle recall even years later.

189 186 There was an apartment building, couple dozen units, in Fort Smith that really had a latino flair to it. Laundry hanging on the balcony, dish antennas, peek up trucks with the horse decal in the window. Some years ago the feds raided one of the local Tyson plants and the cry of "la migra" went through those apartments. Place emptied out overnight.

After reading that 'Bleeping Computer' article, I started looking at the other articles linked to that page. A quick scan proves that the best defense anybody can do for their IT products is to never turn them on.

191 When they talk of illegals and Denver, do they throw in Aurora, CO?

*******

Denver proper is less than 1 million population, but 11 of the top 20 cities by population are suburbs or greater Metro Denver area. Aurora is third most populous behind Denver and Colo. Spgs. The illegal immigrant impact is felt throughout, perhaps Denver and Aurora the most. Also noticeable in Greeley (meat packing industry) and the resort towns.

195 6 Olive oil in coffee? Reminds me of the flap about some additive they tried putting in potato chips in the late '90s that had people dashing for the head, or worse, leaking while asleep. It also had the letters "olea" in it. Anybody remember?

Getting here really late, but hopefully you'll see this Wolfus.

It was Olestra (brand name Olean).
