Sexy New Years Day Open Thread

A pre-James Bond John Barry.

Caution, the video is a little spicy. It features gallies in corsets and stockings.

Because the piece is called "Black Stockings."

25 The Rose Bowl game is frustrating me; Alabama looks sleepy. I’ll give Michigan credit; they’re obviously more fired up than the Tide. Refs did miss an obvious running into the kicker penalty that would’ve given Alabama a first down. Bama offense finally looked awake on their last drive. They get the ball to start the 2nd half. I still think Bama wins but they gotta start playing harder….

Posted by: LinusVanPelt at January 01, 2024 06:54 PM (xT8gx)

26 Wow. So it turns out that the best Michigan team in decades playing a lockdown near-perfect game is the equal to the most questionable Alabama team in years playing a terrible first half.

Alabama is the land of slavery, Jim Crow, Bull Connor, marrying your sister and grits as food.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory, hallelujah!

224 The only reason there are no rednecks in Michigan is because they don't get enough sun. Rural Michigan is a whole different world than Detroit, Ann Arbor, or Lansing. Similar to PA. Jettison Philly and Pittsburgh, and PA is a sea of Red.

Ice fishing and snowmobiling puts hair on the chest. Michigan has a snowmobile trail that runs from Belle Isle Park in Detroit to Ironwoo, MI near WI. The Iron Belle Trail is over 2,000 miles long.

235 ||While the fully unsealed document is still a few days away, many -- including former President Bill Clinton -- had been previously known through other means, according to ABC News.

Numerous others -- including other well-known public figures and Hollywood stars -- are now set to be unmasked, thanks US District Judge Loretta Preska's ruling.

Among them is a 'widely publicized' associate who already appeared as a defendant in multiple Epstein-related cases, Preska wrote in one explanation of why each name should be revealed.

She wrote the same for seven other Does - numbered 095, 099, 120, 122, 136, 143, and 157 - while the pseudonym believed to be Clinton is mentioned more than 50 times, ABC reported.

The context of those references, however, still remains unknown, due to the nature of the redactions.||

Makes excuses for Bill -- Giuffre didn't name him ever as a sex partner. Yeah, and he didn't bang anyone else there if he didn't bang her. See sock link.

Well we advised to stick the post-it note to the keyboard underside - so it wouldn't get dusted off by cleaning crew.

237 Africa. We had a Data General MV/8000 minicomputer with Data General terminals, really nice but expensive. Keyboard was built into the terminal case. One of them stopped functioning so we had to call their tech (maintenance contract). He couldn't figure it out until he opened it up - the keyboard was full of water. Very high level investigations (LOL) revealed that the cleaning lady, when watering the ferns decorating the room, would pour water from a watering can into the lefthand pot, and kept pouring while traversing to the rightmost pot. Right over the keyboard.

(MV/8000 computer was the subject of the book "The Soul Of A New Machine" by Tracy Kidder.)

239 Egads.

Routinely, stockings hooked onto garders. Garders attached to garder belts. For 'fancy' dressing, corsets (usually with boning) beneath the dresses with garders attached, of course. And then there were slips, full or half slips, also worn - depending.

Lots of gadgets, layers.
