I guess I like the people I work with. Not enough to spend a holiday with them.
The festive getaway includes flights and all inclusive accommodation. Afterwards it was followed by a Christmas party at the former TOWIE star Alliott Wright's restaurant Olivia, on the Costa Del Sol, The Daily Express reports. Workers in major city offices from Manchester and London, to Liverpool and Leeds have contributed to another huge year for the company, which reported record-breaking revenues for the thirteenth year in a row, at approximately £14.5 million. Those of you that didn't, we did remember you all in prayer, particularly those with family emergencies or longtime illness.
Thank you to all those extremely altruistic and generous Morons who have helped us financially with the cats. We took in 5 and ended up with 9 cats with a great temperament. (We lost 6 babies, and that still makes me sad). Added to our existing horde we are definitely the House Of Cats.

Get one of the six-ounce bottles of Miller High Life beer. Empty the bottle in the only acceptable manner, (of course!), and then wash, sanitize and rinse it clean.
Fill it with a dilute mixture of Apple Juice & Water, and cover the mouth of the bottle with a tight-fitting Playtex nipple.
Dads especially, love to pose their wee tykes with "their first beer", and the photos *horrify* most relatives, near and far.
For some reasons though, the Moms don't tend to be as enamored of this gag, but a few stalwart lasses have joined in the festivities with great enthusiasm. Maybe because they got to be the one who emptied the beer bottle, in the first place.
And yes. I would very much like to have some of those My First Fire boxes on hand, for similar prankish purposes.

Apparently playing the DEI card didn't work - Nuland's fans are denouncing the State Department for being full of "white guys" at the top of the organization. Appointing a white gal would apparently fix this.
This may be part of the Biden Administration's efforts to pivot away from Ukraine - having a rabid Ukraine supporter in the #2 spot at State may not be perceived as a good thing.

I dropped wanting to visit Kafkaland as part of my bucket list. I'm living in Kafkaland now.
Both 'The Trial' and 'The Metamorphosis' are short reads. But 'The Trial' should be read by every kid in the US before they graduate high school, along with '1984' and 'The Gulag Archipelago (Vol.I)'.
That's my Top 3 'required reading in high school to graduate' books. Your selections may vary.
Once you've read 'The Trial', the Colorado Court ruling becomes all the more ludicrous. Trump is guilty of a crime for which he has not even been charged (amidst all those indictments), much less convicted.
We are living in 'The Trial'. But kids should learn it's not a new concept, this 'guilty until proven innocent' garbage. Kafka's story is so absurd. But as Voltaire stated, "Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." That' the warning from History which should be taught. Hence my three picks.

I'd hope they have sense enough by now to understand that the calls to her address are likely bullshit. Their problem is that because MJT is a notable Congresscritter, and because MJT is a much maligned Congresscritter, they can't really take the chance. So the result being they use a lot of resources to answer a call that they 99% know is complete bullshit but have to respond to on the 1% chance that it's not.

That means they are stalling to get Democrats to cross the aisle and participate in the 99 caucus meetings. The republican vote is done in secret. You will never know how many democrats voted in the Republican caucus results. Koch is betting on Haley by giving her pac $70 Million. Hoffman followed with another quarter million. They know what's going on. The first primary is the most important because it stops and starts momentum. So, removing Trump starts there, and they will be all in on removing his advantage.

After the third time, same address, of a govenment official, it should not take NSA five minutes to pin them down and other agencies could roll themup within an hour unless the call came from way out in BFE.
So, yeah, cetain high officials are being allowed to be terrorised.

It would depend on what details the caller gives the cops. If it's "MTG is being held hostage," I don't think a safeword is going to be very practical. In other words, is it something that the cops can trust if she's under duress. Cops need to respond. If it's "MTG lost her mind, killed her husband and is threatening her chill'uns" it's *really* not going to be practical. Cops need to respond.
Unfortunately, cops are just going to have to respond somehow. Maybe on the ninth call they just send some fatass desk jockey over with a box of jelly doughnuts to peek in the windows just to make sure everything is on the up and up. Save loads of time, for sure.
