The FTC has filed a lawsuit to prevent Microsoft from buying Activision. (Reuters)

The only problem is Microsoft has already bought Activision.

The only other problem is that the FTC is making the same argument that was already thrown out by a district court back in July.

So good luck with that.

Ignoring the fact that they used two 144 core chips to get that result, because the benchmark result barely shifted when the second chip was added.

Sierra Forest uses only the low-power Efficiency cores. So does Bergamo, but AMD's equivalent to Intel's E cores - Zen 4C - is superior in every way.

I think house lights set the tone for the season. When we lived in CO, we didn't put lights up because the house was a two story structure with a steeply pitched roof. And an HOA. I'm definitely a fan of roof and window lights. And framing the garage door with red/white lights so it's like a a hangar door for Santa's sled... ;-)

We have ornaments from, well...way back. One of the neat things about decorating the tree every year is Gigi telling the kids the story behind each one as she hands the ornament to them to put up.

And this year we have 9 stockings to hang with no mantle (yet) over the fireplace!

Well, if anyone should be paying so-called reparations for slavery, it should be the European Nations that imposed slavery on their colonies.

Slavery was imposed on America before it was America and lasted less than 80 years after the founding and the vast overwhelming majority of slaves that came West, went to French, Spanish and Portuguese colonies.

How the Spanish, French and Portuguese have largely escaped any opprobrium over slavery is a mystery.
