Former US Attorney Testifies to House Judiciary Committee That He Had Enough Evidence to Open Up Formal Investigation into the Bidens' Bribery Schemes, But Was Blocked by All of Biden's Politiical Appointees

What a surprise.

He didn't even know about the Hunter Biden laptop. His evidence was independent of that.

Had he known about the laptop, he'd have had an even stronger case.

So they kept that secret from him.

Why should the FBI tell the prosecutor looking into the Bidens about critical evidence about the Bidens' bribery schemes?

In bombshell testimony, the federal prosecutor who initially probed the Biden family's dealings in Ukraine told Congress his team had corroborated enough of an FBI informant's claim of an alleged bribery scheme involving Joe Biden to merit further investigation but he encountered unprecedented foot-dragging and "reluctance" inside both the FBI and the Delaware U.S. Attorney's office that took over the case, Just the News has learned.

Former Pittsburgh U.S. Attorney Scott Brady revealed to the House Judiciary Committee that his team found enough credible evidence in its initial review of Hunter Biden's dealings with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and possible corruption by Joe Biden to refer criminal matters to three separate U.S. Attorney's offices in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Delaware for further investigation.

But almost immediately after he was assigned by the Justice Department in 2020 to review Biden family matters in Ukraine, Brady said he encountered resistance at both the FBI and the Delaware U.S. Attorney's office that at times required him to escalate to his bosses in the deputy attorney general's office.

"It was a challenging working relationship," Brady said of the FBI in testimony earlier this week that was reviewed by Just the News. "I think there was reluctance on the part of the FBI to really do any tasking related to our assignment from DAG Rosen and looking into allegations of Ukrainian corruption broadly and then specifically anything that intersected with Hunter Biden and his role in Burisma. It was very challenging."

Brady's testimony emerged the same day that Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed that the FBI had more than 40 informants providing evidence of possible criminality by the Biden family dating back years but that most leaders were shut down, particularly by the FBI's Washington field office or its New York counter-intelligence office.

Brady was critical of the FBI, noting the bureau never told his office it had Hunter Biden's laptop and had corroborated its contents even as DOJ prosecutors investigated the Ukraine allegations.

"I would have thought that would be something, especially as has been publicly reported, there's information relating to Hunter Biden's activities on the board of Burisma in Ukraine, that might have been helpful in our assessment of the information that we were receiving about him. I would have expected that be shared," he said.

Brady said he encountered similar resistance and skepticism as he tried to hand off evidence and investigative leads to Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss and his deputy Lesley Wolf in fall 2020, corroborating similar testimony provided to the House Ways and Means Committee earlier this summer by IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler.

Not a smidgen of corruption.

A mall for churches.

Check it out. Imagine a big round building. Entrances east, west, north and south. You go in and there you'll find the "store fronts" to whichever church you go to. Catholics here, Lutheran next door, then a couple of Presbyterian (the good one as well as the shitty one), the weirdo nondenominational group that's kind of heretical and on and on. So everyone goes to church on Sunday like they normally do except their church services are being held in this giant multi-denominational building. Maybe you get there early and you chit chat with all your buddies before everyone goes off to do their separate things.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, when all the services end, at the very center of the building, the thing everyone looks forward to most after church...IHOP.

This needs to be done yesterday.

There's a lot packed into that comment. Looking back, Sessions' biggest failure was that he didn't realize the DOJ he had been part of 20 years before no longer existed. The Clintons eviscerated it and replaced the people that had nonpartisan service to the nation as an ethos (and they existed) with partisan Democrat hacks. The Obama senior appointees doubled down, but the rot really happened under the Clintons.

I strongly suspect there is a very large number of Democrat officeholders and consultants who have literally no idea that their party's wins in places like Philadelphia aren't genuine, so they buy into any narrative.

So, the narrative from 2022 was that abortion won, despite places without major cheating operations showing Republicans outperforming...every poll, and they think it's a winning issue everywhere. Even Ohio.

Throw in the mixture that was the confusing Kansas amendment, and you've got a recipe for low-functioning D election workers in a deeply red state just buying whatever line comes along.

I've never been delusional enough to believe that the US is some super right wing country, even in the inner cities. I know fraud happens there, but it's less the percent and more the total numbers. These places are deep blue. It's mostly minorities and liberal whites.

I do think abortion is a winning issue for Dems, unfortunately. Most Republicans I know are borderline pro-choice. It't more of a "I don't like abortion" position than a "I want to outlaw it" Roe vs Wade gave us cover that it was more of a virtue signal vote.

There are an assortment of reasons why Trump's picks were largely bad (there were some good ones like Summers), but they were still largely bad.

I lay a lot of blame on the approval process, meaning that Mitch had at least 25 GOP votes to block whatever nominee he wanted alongside all Democrats without even trying, limiting who Trump could send. Trump was trying to play the game. He's a reformer.

There is not a non-reformer running in this race, and they'll hit the same black. We need a Cromwell, but Cromwell's don't usually rise to those levels of power based on voting.

All that's saying is that Christie was an advisor that Trump too heavily trusted at the time.

But Trump trusted Sessions too much as well, for all that did for him.

And no, Trump could not just go around McConnell. That is the entire point of the process, to force the Executive branch to get Senate approval on significant, cabinet level choices. There are about 3000 Presidential appointees in the federal government. You know if Hillary won, she had 2000 of those jobs filled and would have let her people pick their own people for the remaining 1000. Trump started with maybe 5. So for most of his administration, he was dependent on holdovers who refused to do (or slow-walked and otherwise undermined) what he wanted them to do and people recommended by people who it turns out couldn't have been trusted. I hope he has spent some time during the interregnum putting together a shadow administration to jumpstart that process next time.

293 DOJ isn't monolithic. It's a more complex situation than that.

The Presidentially-appointed U.S. Attys (including the policy team at Main Justice) will always follow the lead of the incumbent President's party.

Since 2008, DEMs have had the WH for 11 of the last 15 years. Because the Presidentially-appointed U.S. Attys control hiring, there've been a lot of young leftists coming through the ranks.

Incidentally, and this may surprise some posters, Trump was VERY lakadaisical about replacing holdover DEM U.S. Attys. The Trump DOJ was in no hurry whatever to replace them, from what I saw.

For one thing, prominent GOP attys frequently don't WANT to be U.S. Atty, whereas DEM attys would kill for the chance.

The only solution to the politically biased law enforcement situation is for the GOP to elect more Presidents. I know this will not please those who preach that voting is a waste of time because gloom.

302 In New York they changed the "law" to allow abortions up to six months for no reason. Go look at a six month pregnancy women and tell me that's a "reasonable" position moat people support. Then in a sleight of hand they moved abortion out of the criminal code and into the health code. When that happened they also changed the "reasons" for an abortion after six months to language that uses terms not defined like "well being" of the mother. They furthermore eliminated any penalty for abortions six months up until birth. Nobody can basically be charged because there is no penalty, and the reasons have been purposely obscured.

Protecting the most vulnerable among us should be the number one duty of a good and just society.

But yeah, this is a losing issue.

Bullshit. It's just not well articulated and grotesquely covered up by the same people trying to corrupt the young children who actually survive.

Depends on what your planning requires. 5.56 subsonic primarily is for use in suppressed arms and at very close range where you need to keep the element of surprise and has a bit more power than a 22 LR does.

The .300 Blackout based on the Whisper cartridge allows both .30 caliber supersonic bullets slightly above the .30 Carbine in punching weight but offers the heavy and slow option in bullets for shooting suppressed which can be useful if hunting pests like coyotes etc.

As far as hunting, there are better cartridges as the .300 Blackout is marginal on deer depending on placement and range and the .223 is generally unsuited and/or banned in many states as it does not necessarily produce humane kills.

I read a good article recently. The state forbade hospitals to take any cases but Covid, and then paid them to do their bidding on Covid. A lot of people who didn't want remdesivir to shut down their kidneys died on remdesivir, which shut down your kidneys.

And some people were talking on the phone when they came to put them on a vent--because the government paid hospitals more money to put people on vents.

AR's are cheap enough, large pool of cheap ammo, and they don't recoil much. Pretty easy to rack up kills at close range. But then again, NIU school killer used shotguns with much the same effect and the I don't like Mondays spree killer used and SKS. Think a Garand and M1 Carbine were used in the Westside School shootings.

If you want safer schools, a lot of it requires training teachers and school children how to respond and having sufficient good guys with arms inside schools to instantly limit the death toll.

Even a 5 minute police response time is too long for spree killers to rack up their score.

368 283 For the record, I think had Trump found his own well qualified picks, Republicans would have approved. Just like they did all of his SC picks. It just couldn't be his usual crony freak show. Posted by: Blago at October 27, 2023 12:54 PM (N8ySe)

This goes for anyone not uniparty approved, but after when they've done to anyone working for Trump I don't imagine it being easier to get a group of people together.
You need 2K people that won't need to work after they pull a stint in .gov.

369 353 "I think the AK and SKS platforms are more robust
Posted by: Kindltot
--------
Not so much in a modern society. AK's, especially the ones sold here, are at best inaccurate and actually not that reliable due to a certain number of US parts being mandated for imports. A few very pricey ones are totally made here but hard to find in stores. SKS's are a bit better in accuracy and function but you have to learn to feed it via stripper clips. Don't think any SKSs now are being imported and the remaining stock is bringing higher and higher prices. Sights on either of them like most Soviet arms is open sights and neither the SKS or the AK were designed for modern optics.

The SKS has a bad habit if firing crappy dirty ammo to go full auto if the firing pin channel gets clogged and the pin jams in the forward position. It can also fire if dropped under certain conditions as the safety is trigger blocking only. No firing pin block in most models---the earliest SKS design called for a spring loaded firing pin which was dropped in later designs.

370 As far as hunting, there are better cartridges as the .300 Blackout is marginal on deer depending on placement and range and the .223 is generally unsuited and/or banned in many states as it does not necessarily produce humane kills.

How about regular 30.06 and .303?

372 Not a hint of corruption... will be allowed to surface that might interfere with our treasonous agenda!

It is easy to despair that we will never be able to clean up Islam, but there is a perfectly achievable political cleanup project right here at home... the Biden sewer blockage!

And never forget - Obama knew all about Biden's crimes, and almost certainly was running a corruption racket of his own!
