Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Daughter of the Judge in Trump's Case Worked for Biden and Kamala Harris -- and Lefties Think the Real Crime Lies in Pointing This OutREVEALED: The progressive daughter of judge presiding over Donald Trump's hush money case in Manhattan who worked for Kamala Harris and Joe Biden - and is swirling speculation of bias against the ex-president Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan's daughter, Loren, 34, works for progressive digital strategies firm Authentic Campaigns She was a digital director for Vice President Kamala Harris' 2020 presidential campaign and has worked for a slew of other Democratic campaigns READ MORE: Trump faces a maximum of 136 years in jail as unsealed indictment reveals 34 FELONY charges By Katelyn Caralle, U.S. Political Reporter For Dailymail.com Speculation of political bias is heightening surrounding Donald Trump's indictment after it was revealed the daughter of the judge presiding over the case worked for Vice President Kamala Harris' 2020 presidential run and a slew of other progressive campaigns. Trump railed against Judge Juan Manuel Merchan in a social media rant ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon with a post claiming the judge is from a 'family of well known Trump haters.' Loren Merchan, the 34-year-old daughter of the Manhattan judge, is partner and president of Authentic Campaigns, a progressive digital firm, and worked on several high-profile Democratic campaigns -- including for President Joe Biden. The work of the judge's daughter led to increased claims from former President Trump that the judge 'hates me' and that the Stormy Daniels hush money case against him in Manhattan is rigged, biased and part of the politicization and criminalization of the U.S. justice system. Trump demanded just hours before his historic arraignment on Tuesday afternoon that the case in question be moved from Manhattan to the more Republican-friendly Staten Island. That makes sense! ... Loren Merchan worked as the director of digital for Harris' 2020 presidential campaign from February 2019 until December of the same year, according to her LinkedIn. Merchan's firm, Authentic, continued working for Harris and then-candidate Joe Biden after the eventual first-ever female vice president ended her unsuccessful campaign for president and joined Biden's ticket. She concluded her work with the campaign to move to fill the same role at Authentic Campaigns progressive digital strategies firm. She climbed the ladder over five years at the firm and is now Partner, president and COO of Authentic Campaigns. The left is freaking out-- you're not allowed to accuse leftists of bias! You're only allowed to accuse rightists of bias (and insurrection)! See, pointing out obvious disqualifications is "gangsterism," says Noted Republican Tom Nichols:

You need to go after women who have carried a child. Those who are concerned the schools are hiding things about their child from them. The ones watching their daughter being cast aside on sports teams for a trans or being injured because of that or invading the privacy of a locker room. Those are the women who can be persuaded. 42 One thing nobody is asking about: how did this obviously corrupt, incompetent judge get assigned this case? There are dozens of NYC judges who supposedly are assigned cases at random. The odds that this judge presided over the corrupt, biased persecution of Trump's companies and then is ALSO just randomly assigned this criminal case against Trump personally is very very low. Someone specifically directed this case to this cocksucker. That is illegal judge-shopping.

The Dobbs theory doesn't make sense. The refusing Trumps endorsement does if in fact that was the case.
Posted by: polynikes No, actually abortion was the primary issue in the campaign as Wisconsin is set to abolish the law that existed pre Dobbs which had very strict limits. The Wisconsin Supreme Court will have the final say most likely which made the switch from conservative to liberal the major focus. It is why so much outside money poured in to support the proabortion candidate. From what I have read, Trump did not comment at all on this race. I was watching a live MMA show out of the Netherlands last night. First problem: when one of the fighters he was rejected for some goofy reason, like he left his cup in Berlin or something. Hilarity ensued with the broadcast team. The second awesome moment is when the fight MC lost his place in the written script he was reading and had to go dead silent to sort it out. I didn't even watch the fight as nothing could top those two things.

In federal court there's the "wheel" which is supposed to randomly assign cases to judges, but judges often cheat by claiming a case because it's "related" to one they already have.
This is actually a real scandal but other judges right up to the Dread Roberts let it go because of comity. Posted by: Ignoramus at April 06, 2023 01:29 PM (RqMSv) 266

My point, which I will again try and clarify, is that we will never convince these one issue voters to vote our way so stop trying. You will never get Antifa to vote our way or BLM or the AGW people. It is their religion. And they have lots and lots of money. Instead of arguing their issues, we need to argue ours. Crime(which means we need guns), the economy, education, trans insanity , energy etc. These are issues that affect people every day. Let the wealthy elite pretend that the earth is warming or that we have an overpopulation problem.

Point #1: Trump will be under federal indictment for mishandling of national security documents before this is over and will probably be in federal prison for the rest of his life.
Point #2: "No Republican will win in 2024 is the truth" is 100% right on because the Republicans have no turn out machine to even get close to what the Democrats have and all the big money, woke corporate donors are now on the Democrats side. It will take a depression level collapse of America for a Republican to win in 2024. Posted by: BetaCuck4Lyfe at April 06, 2023 01:25 PM (MFZ8i) Yes. DJT turbed out +70mil voters. Posted by: Red Turban Someguy - The Republic is already dead! at April 06, 2023 01:25 PM (eYoxG) --------------- Trump has a loyal, cult like base, that will follow him to the end of the earth but the suburban Republicans hate him and won't vote for him. ---- Not so, Trump only had trouble with Republican suburban voters in Arizona, because eff you McCain machine. He did fine with them in all the other states, to the extent where Republican suburban voters could make a difference. The suburbs that had been wealthy Republican stalwarts before but had turned into wealthy Democrat stalwarts were admittedly troublesome, but remember all, if 2020 had been a truly fair election none of this would be happening.
