Project Veritas: Psych! We Were Just Kidding About Firing James O'Keefe

The executive director of Project Veritas says that this is all a misunderstanding and fake news -- they did ask employees for... comments about James O'Keefe. This is a downplayed reference to what was alleged to be a "struggle session," with employees berating O'Keefe for his abrasive management style.

But they say they never even considered firing James O'Keefe, and he's just enjoying a needed vacation.

veritasstatement.jpg

This is all bullsh!t, because if this were true, James O'Keefe would not have refused comment even to his allies for a week.

But it seems that the board is retreating from its plan, or notion at least, of removing James O'Keefe.

The tryhard spin from Project Veritas is cringe, as the kids say:

projectveritasspin.png

Here's a link to the post with the picture of O'Keefe's stacked girlfriend.

I imagine that O'Keefe is abrasive. I wouldn't guess that all the employees are just making stuff up. Although... they probably employ a lot of Millennials, and you know, with Millennials, if you're not praising them and validating them, you're literally causing harm and making them unsafe and denying their right to exist.

So who knows. But the board of directors aren't Millennials, I don't think, so they wouldn't consider removing O'Keefe if this was just some silly Millennials squealing.

And do conservative Millennials act like that?

Anyway, whatever they were plotting, they seem to have stopped plotting that.

Below, a humorous video released in which Project Veritas "stings" themselves. It's a parody of the situation and allegations about James O'Keefe.

Did he really steal a sandwich? Dick move -- no one should ever lay hands on someone else's sweet, sweet sammy, as Rich "Psycho" Giamboni can tell you* -- but not really grounds to fire the company's founder.

O'Keefe fired two top officials (one was CFO and the other had some other executive position) at PV and the board reinstated them. Those officials have ties to two of the more recent board members (one is a Never Trump loon for example and GOPe establishment) and it is speculated that Pfizer sting was the cause of discontent.

Concur. I wonder who's money finally ended up talking. There was clearly a play to muscle him out, but they could only get so far as a "suspension" and an associated gag order. That was someone's money, threats or other influence that did that. This backtrack is someone else's money, threats or other influence and I wonder who won out.

Veritas *is* O'Keefe, and the enterprise has no value without him. I reckon a lot of money flows through the organization (both halves of it) and somebody wasn't real happy about this. I just wonder who it was.

Truth. The Wifey is a manager and she is constantly having to remind her staff to stay off their phones, not keep food and drinks at their workstations, keep to the dress code, etc. and if she dares write them up, they run crying to HR. More often than not, Wifey gets in trouble (and her authority undermined) and her problem employees learn that they can do what they want without consequences. In fact, one employee was sent a task list to complete for an upcoming office audit. The tasks weren't done because the snowflake "just didn't want to do it".

Posted by: Joe Mannix
---------
Not really if a big donor or political player wanted it done. There was a gap between the first Pfizer burn and the later confrontation in the bar. Ostensibly the conflict in the bar between the Pfizer exec and OKeefe's team was the start controversy from reporting where a couple of executives were fired for dissing James and the board reinstated them.

I predict those board members were put in place to either muzzle or push out O'Keefe and they put watchdog execs in place to monitor and maneuver. See how the founder of Papa Johns was pushed out or even Roger Ailes at Fox. The board hire an outside 'objective' consulting firm to do the dirty work and the board says well shucks been nice knowing you.

Pre-made plans can be executed quite fast in organizations and I have seen that in an organization myself.

=========

I think it would be easy to guesstimate by applying the dips for the Emmy's and Grammy's to last year's ratings for the Oscars. Last year's was 16 million. The Emmy's had a drop of 25%, so if we assume a similar drop, that leaves it at about 12 million.

That wouldn't be the historical low which is about 10 million for the 2021 ceremony, but it'd be close.

Does that whole "Celebrity X does this and so you should, too!" stuff actually work on anyone anymore? I know it used to, but the world has (hopefully) changed. All the celebrity extravaganzas Hill-dog threw didn't move the needle one little bit. Nobody watches the star-studded awards shows anymore. It probably works on the same people who watch TMZ or read People Magazine, but that's a dwindling number.

In a lot of ways, the Left-Right dichotomy does not matter as much as it used to.
Naomi Wolf, who was an advisor to Al Gore back in 2000, is now pretty pro-liberty, anti-big government.

You are either for the establishment, big government, the Techno-cratic oligarchy (mainstream Democrats, GOPe, most of the VERY rich)....or you are for liberty and freedom and following Constitutional law, and have a healthy suspicion of the very wealthy and people in political power.
There are fringe players on both sides, and RFK Jr. certainly is on the Left...but he is also fearful of government power and the vax mandates, and all the evil that this has caused.

Yes, truly, there is a lot of that in Science Fiction, because in a Big Happy Free Country like America (fuck yeah!) you can say anything you like.
And yes, that is sarcasm, because this is not a free country anymore, and you can't say anything you like and get away with it.
So for a long time, some clever people hide this stuff in Science Fiction, because it's just a little...sub-obvious.
The stories "Alice Through the Looking Glass" and "Alice in Wonderland" were supposed to be mild political satire of the day (when writtne). So was "The Wizard of Oz".

Reevaluate. The problem was that Covid was a flop if an exercise in bioterrorism at the immediate level. It would be regarded more like a weapon that was partially effective immediately--removed Trump which was the Deep State, China's, and Euroland's interests but failed to generate enough fear after exposure to sustain the public health fascism.

But, like a cobalt bomb, the aftereffects from the Covid vaxx may be the worst of it for the West in decreasing fertility already below replacement and a long stream of post Covid vaxx injuries.

If it was an op, it was a tactical success but a strategic defeat.

Of course it almost feels wierd to judge success by being wrong or right any more considering how stupid our current pop culture is.

So he's big on environmental lawsuits as well. I mean, look, 20 years ago I was a lot less skeptical about the military industrial complex, and big corporations and big pharma. Now, I think he probably had a point back on then on those things. As for vax in general, the issue turns out to be that we are giving A LOT more vax to kids in a fairly short period of time than when I was a kiddo. They are considering actually spreading out the time frame a bit more so as to not stress the immune system to repeatedly. Its not a no brainer. There is some there, there.

392 A huge solar storm will strike Earth on Thursday, potentially disrupting power grids and pushing the aurora as far south as Michigan and Maine.

Alerts issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration early Thursday morning ranked as a K-5 index (out of 9). A ranking of five or above is needed for the administration to issue an alert for upcoming solar storms.

Minor impacts to satellites, power grid fluctuations and a visible aurora were noted by NOAA. The highest geomagnetic storm category predicted thus far is a G2 storm on Feb. 18, which is considered “moderate” by NOAA’s rating scale. At that point, the aurora might be visible in parts of New York, Wisconsin and the state of Washington.

Autism used to be almost unknown, and now it is growing rapidly, and it's not just kids acting out. There are real clinical basis for establshing autism.

The changed the CPR protocol actually. No more breaths. There is enough oxygenated blood in the system NOT circulating, so its not dropping, so that when you pump and keep pumping you are netting more oxygen to end organs, than when you stop and breath. You are breathing into lungs with no blood flow so its not like there is much new oxygen being added to the blood stream during those breaths. its not worth stopping the pumps.

If you read an Ian Fleming James Bond novel, you get a whole different picture of his civil-service life. Coming financial hits to Google plus cashing out stock options is my guess. If ChatGPT becomes the new defacto search engine type, Google behind the curve with its Bard project. Since AdSense is still the massive revenue source for Google, a recession plus challenges from Bing integrated Chat GPT searches might cause a stock slump in Google.

I never watched them. Matrix taught me that. If a movie is perfect, be careful of sequels.

The first is not completely perfect.

-Willem Defoe is criminally underused. He seems to only exist within the storyline to get John out of tight spots twice.

Other than that though, pretty damn perfect.

442 China imposed fines and sanctions against two US defense companies in a further escalation of tensions between the world’s biggest economies.

Lockheed Martin Corp. and a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies Corp. were added to a list of “unreliable entities” for selling weapons to Taiwan, China’s Ministry of Commerce said in a statement Thursday.

As with previous sanctions announced against the firms and other US defense contractors, these measures aren’t expected to disrupt operations, analysts said. The sanctions and fines targeted Raytheon’s missile and defense subsidiary, “which sells nothing into China,” while avoiding commercial divisions that export jet engines, navigation equipment and other components to the nation, noted George Ferguson of Bloomberg Intelligence.
