Rev. Galliard- as far as I can tell has no M.Div degree and never pastored a church before being the pastor of this mega church in Rocky Mount NC. He moved from being a businessman to being a Democrat Rep in the NC House of Reps to being a pastor, so he's bring his social justice act to the church. Usually it's the other way around-pastors in the AA churches sometimes go from actual pastoring to political life because they're already known in their communities so they have a base to draw on for votes.

As you can tell from the title, he is black, bold and on fire and spares nothing and uses rhetoric that can be at times over the top, but words that would get most others #canceled. He was brought up in the environment and has very good inside knowledge of what the black clergy are doing. Not pretty on Judgement Day for them.

I used to be outspoken about the Osteen type Big Box churches as they are clearly false teachers, but they do serve a role in society. As long as any form of orthodox doctrine is brought up, the attendees of this weekly festival are at least not overtly hostile to Christianity, particularly the stereotypes of Christianity.
I would much rather have people believing in a plush-toy Genie Jesus and having a false piety than having them be totally apathetic or hostile to Christianity.
As a person who deeply believes in the Doctrines of Grace, its the Paraclete's business to open their eyes to the Truth - as God Wills.

Exactly. People who attend there are often there for a reason. Occasionally it is because they heard about this Jesus fellow and Osteen has a pretty good marketing campaign.
I often thought that it would be effective if a Big Box minded corporation would partner with something like an Orthodox Presbyterian denomination and house the two very different entities on the same campus.
There could be the wide gate that leads to the Wham Bam Jesus Jam and a narrow door that leads to the solid preaching and teaching of the Word.
Have the two services start/stop about the same time and parties could agree to meet in the fellowship hall or coffee bar afterwards.

And a father who doesn't to some degree desire the freely given love of his children isn't worthy of the name. A father who beats his children into submission and treats them like livestock is a terrible father. I think what gets called a paradox is nothing of the sort. Everything sucks because we're just shitty children. Sometimes if you're lucky, shitty children grow out of it and realize how great their parents actually had been all their lives.

I would expect more of these "surveillance balloons" to be sighted over US territory. The Chinese seem to have faith in these contraptions that they can perform worthwhile intelligence gathering. They've been using them for some time and this is not the first time. Give it a few months and it will be "routine" and nothing to worry about.

That's what my dad did when we lived in Hawaii in the late 60s. Later we moved to Edwards for some secret stuff doing the same kind of thing. For a long time we had one of the practice capsules in our garage.
He also did ground recoveries, like in the movie "The Green Berets". They would fly over and snatch up a balloon attached to a guy in a harness on the ground and reel him into the back of a C-130.

I envy you for that. My Dad flew during WW2 and I wanted to go Air Force but my Mum said absolutely not, she had enough worries when my Dad was a flier. By the time I got part way into high school I had been bitten by the Chemistry bug and that settled it.

Yeah, I had folks defending it on another board and saying it was brought up to be a distraction.
When I mentioned he shot it down over water anyway on Feb 4, when he could have done it over water on Jan 28 (since he knew beforehand it was coming b/c we always know and that the early briefing was solely go-no go on that decision), I got a lot of silence and then one poor soul said he was happy we were diplomacy 1st and shoot later...sigh...at least the silent reachables probably got reached...

I saw an interesting piece the other day listing the number to times Soros affiliated people have visited Biden in the White House and it dwarfs the amount he visited Obama and thats just at the WH and not at his homes where Biden is refusing to release visitor lists. The article went on to say Soros was frustrated with Obama because he had limited influence but with Biden he is much more influential.
It amazes me that Soros has so much control over world events yet manages to fly so far below the radar. I know he has paid off a lot of media to look the other way but his control is obvious to anyone who just looks at the locations and events he is involved with.

There were other balloons that crossed some part of the US. One drifted across SoCA, AZ and NM before being lost over the Gulf of Mexico. Another was reported near Hawaii years ago.
Rumors persist about those "UFO" sightings that look very similar to the balloon. I'd bet good money this has been going on for quite a while.

That's what my dad did when we lived in Hawaii in the late 60s. Later we moved to Edwards for some secret stuff doing the same kind of thing. For a long time we had one of the practice capsules in our garage.
He also did ground recoveries, like in the movie "The Green Berets". They would fly over and snatch up a balloon attached to a guy in a harness on the ground and reel him into the back of a C-130.

Funny how it's always "minorities" that suffer from not being able to look after themselves as if they are somehow stupid and low IQ so they need special treatment. We do have 'low information' citizens but they come in all colors and sizes. Any individual or 'group' (ethnic, sexual, economic, etc.) that expects special treatment is acknowledging that they are idiots.

My opinion? As it stands, I have no faith that the situation will improve in the near future. Americans, as a whole, are still largely detached (with the exception of us here) from anything occurring outside of their little bubble. In other words....the majority still lives a rather comfortable existence, they still have their video games, sports on TV, and a roof over their heads. One single election (if the Deep State permits it) isn't going to change one thing. There is only one answer and it's too terrible to even contemplate. At nearly 76, I've been a political junkie for a very long time, but I never dreamed it would be this bad. Until the majority of the populace finally feels real person pain, economically, they will plod on and, as the frog in the boiling water, be oblivious to what is actually happening to them. Until it's too late. It's frustrating. I swore an oath back in 1967 to protect and defend the Constitution, as did many others. I'm not so sure if that sacred document actually exists anymore.

Interesting:
Between 2019 and 2020, poverty rates increased for married-couple families and families with a female householder. The poverty rate for married-couple families increased from 4.0 percent in 2019 to 4.7 percent in 2020. For families with a female householder, the poverty rate increased from 22.2 percent to 23.4 percent. The poverty rate for families with a male householder was 11.4 percent in 2020, not statistically different from 2019.

Probably not as capable, the copies usually aren't, but Soros has already installed so much of the foundation they likely don't have to be as capable. The WEF is a Soros dominated organization. Schwab gets most of the attention but Soros is right there next to him but behind the spotlight which is what he prefers.

1. Inflation was starting in 2019 and definitely in 2020.
2. Housing prices are a double hit with both monthly mortgage and then the property tax increase.
3. As rising tide does not raise ships tied down to the dock. IOW, the thinking that where you are now, what you are doing now will work out in the future is wrong.
