The Morning Report — 1/2/23

owschvitzmiraben.jpg

Good morning, kids. New week, new year, same old shit. In any case, it's sad when a has-been hag actress thinks she can suddenly become relevant merely by Tweeting the same old tired attacks on the usual targets of the Left. With the same inchoate, puerile, barely literate bromides coming from so many others who actually still have careers (such as they are) it's pissing into the ocean. But, old trots gotta trot, right?

In any case, much of what she's saying is actually true, except for the fact that she's too brainwashed and clueless to realize the irony that it is she and her ilk responsible for all the ills that have befallen us and much of the world.

“We think we are on this inexorable climb to progress, growth, equality, only to realize we are only 1 degree away from Auschwitz, or George Washington’s thousands of slaves, the genocide of millions of Native Americans, or the justification of Harvey Weinstein’s rapes …” Sorvino continued.

"1 degree away from Auschwitz." How right you are, tootsie. How absolutely goddam right you are.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano intends to hold a 3-day fast from January 3rd to 5th in support of those who are still detained on January 6 related charges. 964 individuals have been charged with crimes, many of them misdemeanors, related to January 6, and 465 pleaded guilty. Hundreds are still languishing in DC-area jails awaiting trial.

In a letter exclusively obtained by Human Events, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, said "I hope that this initiative will find many adherents, in a spirit of true reparation of the innumerable sins and grave betrayals committed."

"I can only encourage and bless this commendable gesture of penance, to be accompanied by prayer – above all the Holy Rosary – for the beloved Nation which I had the privilege of knowing during my officeas Apostolic Nuncio," he said.

There are defendants "who are awaiting trials who have been incarcerated for 18, 12 months as DOJ delays those trials intentionally to inflict more pain," Julie Kelly reported. She said that Biden's DOJ and FBI "are still arresting people every week. You have new defendants, new people who have been arrested and charged just this week, including for misdemeanor offenses. They are closing in on a thousand total defendants, and the DOJ has warned that they are going to look for a thousand more. Here we are almost two years later; they are still rounding up Trump supporters, destroying their lives, throwing them in prison and ruining their families. It’s really tragic."

Political prisoners locked away virtually incommunicado, in horrendous conditions, beaten and abused by guards and actual hardened criminals alike. When, if, they ever get to trial, they're coerced into pleading guilty and spouting pre-digested "confessions" to alleged acts of treason, when in point of fact were nothing more than misdemeanor trespassing. If that, considering they were essentially invited in by the agents of law enforcement who then arrested them, and in the case of Ashli Babbitt and Roseanne Boyland, murdered them in cold blood.

No word from Mira about that, but doubtless she'd support it wholeheartedly since we have to destroy the 6th Amendment – and the rest of the Constitution just to be sure – in order to preserve "our precious democracy" (*Vomit). Anyone and anything not Democrat or Leftist cannot be afforded any legitimacy whatsoever since we are a mortal threat to said "democracy," life and even the planet itself.

Dehumanize an enemy so as to make it easier to annihilate them. "1 step away from Auschwitz." Indeed.

Let's take two steps back from Auschwitz, and land on censorship of political enemies. For that, we have something eminently worse by orders of magnitude than a mere has-been hag but the definition of abject scum: an American politician from the US Senate:

[Ben] Cardin, who is a practicing Jew, has also served as the Special Representative on Anti-Semitism, Racism, and Intolerance for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly since 2015.

Cardin has been engaged in efforts to combat the reported rise in anti-semitic incidents across the OSCE region. In early December, Cardin, along with Senators Jackie Rosen (D-Nev.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.) sent a letter to [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden calling for a “unified national strategy against anti-semitism.”

On Dec. 13, the Helsinki Commission held a hearing entitled, “The Alarming Rise of Anti-Semitism and Its Threat to Democracy.”

During the hearing, Cardin stated, “If you espouse hate, if you espouse violence, you’re not protected under the First Amendment.”

After getting napalmed for that garbage, whatever staffer writing Cardin's material tried to backpedal by claiming "context" insofar as "the incitement of violence" is what he meant. Yeah, sure. The absolute, inviolable sanctity of the First Amendment was drilled into my head at least as far back as the fourth grade, if not prior to that. Where the hell was Cardin? Flash forward to 1977. I can't seem to find any links from any politician demanding the American Nazi Party be banned from marching in Skokie, IL, let alone silenced. The AC-fucking-LU even represented them in court, and won! Hello? Ben?

The galling and dangerous chutz-pocrisy at work here is the fact that the real perpetrators of anti-Semitism are 100% of the Left and Democrats.

From the inner cities, to mosques, to universities, all the way to Foggy Bottom and the Oval Office by way of Kalorama. The Democrat-Left is solely responsible for the eruption of Jew-hatred in the past 10 years. What they are seeking to do is use it as cover to transfer that guilt to this mythical vast ultra-MAGA white supremacist insurrectionist movement supposedly sweeping the nation, and allegedly nearly overthrew it exactly two years ago this Friday. And as we all know, existential threats – real or as in this case invented of whole cloth – can, should and no doubt will be used as the pretext to declare an emergency to, once again, "preserve our precious democracy" (*vomit).

Psaki-psircling back to the cloud of old-man B.O., halitosis-tinged coffee-breath, and rank hypocrisy and corruption dressed up as a Senator from Maryland, let's play his stupid game for a second. The issue is not necessarily what constitutes hate speech but who gets to decide what it is. I'll give you one guess. By the way, the article mentions Ben Cardin being a "practicing Jew." Ben Cardin is to Judaism what Ayman al-Zawahiri was to pediatric medicine.

Speaking of Dark Age "doctors," the year really kicked off with a bang. Or in this case a stab.

At 9:30 PM, partygoers in Times Square wearing purple Planet Fitness hats heard a bang.

The ball hadn’t dropped, another Jihadi had. Along with three cops. . .

. . . The black nationalist convert, the Bosnian illegal alien and the Maine teen don’t have much in common except their religion and their determination to kill New York City cops for Allah.

Two of the three terror attacks were perpetrated by Muslim converts. That’s in line with the growing role of Americans inducted into Islam as the foot soldiers in the Jihad. Converts have always been viewed as dumb and expendable by Muslim terrorist groups. And how better to kill Americans than to recruit other Americans to do the killing without risking Arab Muslim lives? . . .

. . . Three knife attacks on NYPD officers by Muslim terrorists, two of them in the last three years, ought to have gotten more attention than that. But if the media is uncomfortable talking about Islamic terrorism even when, like the Chicago plot, it targets other Muslims, imagine how uncomfortable it is bringing attention to Muslim terror plots against police officers.

The three Muslim terrorists were just trying to defund the police a little more directly. . .

Islamic terrorism has become a statistic. Three Muslim knife attacks on eight NYPD cops in eight years is just a number. Like 2,977 dead on 9/11, 2,456 in Afghanistan and all the smaller lives lost in between, they’re just numbers. If we look at them closely, they can either tell a personal story or form a bigger picture of a bigger threat. But for now it’s easier to ignore it.

By the way, the prior link about Ben Cardin mentions him being a "practicing Jew." Ben Cardin is to Judaism what Ayman al-Zawahiri was to pediatric medicine.

Well, in this case, practice makes perfect much the same way as Arbeit Macht Frei.

The justification for Obamacare was to make certain that poor had access to medical care. The (R) reply was that there already was a program for that - Medicare.

Obviously, Obamacare was a tax on the middle class and a means to get control of ~20% of GDP. But Chris Christie got his stomach stapled, so there's that.

33 Don't watch much tv, typically just college football. Watched a couple pro games yesterday and the one on CBS was enlightening for a couple reasons. The first being the heavy coverage of sports betting and the ads promoting sports betting. Also, the actors on NCIS LA are looking a bit long in the tooth.

I disagree, JJ. I'll agree that they hate their political enemies but there is something that always seems different about anti-Semitism that seems to transcend normal political/cultural boundaries. One of those things I can never really put my finger on why it seems to be present, but feels like it is. Maybe it is just the historical 'Otherness' of Jews- and the resultant 2-3 millennia of 'historical' grievances. I dunno.

To borrow a phrase: 'Why hate someone based on the color of their skin- when if you take the time to really get to know them, you can find so many better reasons to hate them for?'

Point being, we won't get the action we want on much of anything with the current crop of abysmal Republican politicians "representing" us in Washington. The only answer? Get another crop.

The one time I tried a cigar, a good quality (I thought) thin one, I thought something had died in the apartment. No cigars for me. Almost all of it. The old codger blends I like (Sir Walter, Half & Half, Carter Hall, Granger) you used to find in grocery stores and drugstores, that's almost the only way to get them now. I wanted to try something new, and I thought I'd patronize my local shop. From now on, unless I *know* I like a blend, or can buy 1 oz. to try first, I'm sticking with my standards.

I've been into cigars for about a decade. I've bought a couple at local B&M's but it's more economical to buy them online. Oil and gas producers will see new taxes and fees and their effective cash tax rates rise to 15% compared to other sectors, such as a 5% increase for tech. It will be about $100 B.

If you know what brand/type/region of cigar almost any online vendor will have good quality cigars and/or tobacco. I bought a sampler of top shelf new world Cubans (not from Cuba, but made with Cuban seed tobacco) from an outfit I'd never heard of. The unfourtnant thing? I don't want them to make hell for the Democrats, per se, I want them to us the power of the purse and all of the instrumentalties of their oversight powers.

If I were speaker this is what I would do...

1. All legislation, bills and proposals emanating from the Senate are DOA for the next two years, The House of Representatives will be setting the tone and agenda of legislation for the next two years.

2. All budgets going forward will be balanced budgets, spending no more than the government takes in.

3. The budgeting process for fiscal year 2024 and 2025 begin today and will be ready ahead of schedule, no extensions will be allowed and it will be voted on at the legislatively mandated date.

4. The House will proceed with regular order and bills will go through appropriate committees.

4. Bills will not be cobbled together into monster, "MUST PASS," legislation, but offered as single bills that will have to be passed or failed on their own merits.

5. Any piece of legislation in excess of 50 million dollars will have an IG to monitor the proper spending of the funds.

Pope Francis seems eager to cast a blind-eye to evil: provided the evil-doers voice that they are motivated to help the poor. As long as the collectivists give pennies to the poor (and send some cash to the Vatican), Pope Francis will excuse their crimes.

FBI Atlanta Offering $10K Reward Related To Vandalism At Ebenezer Baptist Church

||On Sunday, July 3, 2022, just days after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, a member or members of the group sprayed the words “if abortions arent safe neither are you” on the side of the church.

Less than one minute later, cameras recorded the people walk away from the church and cross Auburn Avenue and towards the Memorial Rose Garden. A few minutes later, a group of 10 people walked from the area of the garden, no longer wearing black clothing.||

100% correct and 100% the correct thing to do. But this has about as much a chance of happening as declaring "antifa" or Black-Lives-Matter domestic terrorist organizations. TikTok is ingrained in culture as the most popular and used social media app in the world and there will be zero political will to do the right thing. I would argue it would have an even bigger backlash against the Right as overturning Roe v. Wade.

While it absolutely should be done, the political will to take this away from American culture does not exist. Hell, Congress can't even stand up against illegal aliens and the gender dysphoria movement.

It’s all part of abuse syndrome, people. I’d wondered about it for some time but the ‘revelations’ about Harvey Weinstein just make it crystal clear. People who are subject to long-term abuse MUST find an outlet for the anger that bubbles in them all the time. They don’t, dare not for various reasons, lash out at their abusers. Think of children in abusive homes. How can they lash out at their parents who are abusing them? They are powerless. So they become bullies in turn. . .

Actually, that is a conflation. Jesus never did that. For the scribes and pharisees, he did indeed name their sin, but also told them that they were "not of my sheep" and were outside the Kingdom of God (effectively declaring their eternal reprobation to their faces - these people were too evil to realize that they had been condemned to an eternal Hell).

For the "go and sin no more" were those certain people that He healed their physical and spiritual condition. if you have been regenerated into salvation, it is the path of sanctification that empowers the "go and sin no more".

309 Part of the Medicaid thing is Obamacare. I'm fairly sure they're counting the kids in the state run programs like Florida Sunshine, etc. My husband has been out of work over the last year for medical reasons until he can get an operation so I've been supporting our family of three, plus four foster kids, on my own. (I have three jobs). I'm self employed so I have to buy insurance on the exchange...so when I applied this year for coverage for myself, my husband and my 16 yo bio kid, it wrote me a policy for the adults, but refused to allow me to cover my kid under our policy. It said she HAD to be on the state medicaid program. I don't want her on that, I wanted to pay for her to have the same coverage we do...but was not allowed that as an option. Our four foster kids of course are on medicaid...that's five out of seven in our house, and we are not "poor." We just weren't given any choices to NOT be on the government tit. SUPER annoying.

310 "Even as the truth becomes less plausibly deniable with each passing day."
What's Preventing Covidians From Saying They're Sorry?

What is preventing them from doing so is the fact that they are not sorry. At all. Because it was never about "healthcare" or "the science", it was always about control and submission. And deaths were a feature, not a bug, of the Plandemic. There were known successful treatments from even before the lockdowns. But the Left ran smear campaigns against all of them. Certain actions were also known to make matters worse, but they made them official policy anyway (i.e. moving patients who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 into nursing homes, when we knew from Day 1 when Sharyl Attkisson reported the Plandemic started in nursing homes in Washington state.)

Every single thing the Left/Democrats did was to make things worse. They wanted things to be worse, because they wanted their excuse for mass mail-in voting to rig and steal the 2020 elections. So of course they will never apologize, because they got exactly what they wanted: a coup and total control of the federal government and every institution in the country.
