The Morning Report — 12/14/22

trannypervertkids.jpg

Good morning kids. Wednesday and regarding the Sam Bankman-Fried editorial from yesterday, wherein I asserted that no way does Scam Bank-Fraud face prosecution, it looks as if I stand corrected. Sort of.

Bankman-Fried faces up to 115 years in prison if convicted of the following crimes:

– Count One: Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud on Customers; up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Two: Wire Fraud on Customers; up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Three: Conspiracy to Commit Wire Fraud on Lenders; up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Four: Wire Fraud on Lenders; up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Five: Conspiracy to Commit Commodities Fraud, up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Six: Conspiracy to Commit Securities Fraud, up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Seven: Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering, up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
– Count Eight: Conspiracy to Defraud the United States and Violate the Campaign Finance Laws; up to 5 years in prison if convicted.

A judge denied Bankman-Fried bail due to him being a “great” flight risk.

Well, they threw the book at him and yes, he faces prosecution, rhetorically speaking. That is, if he actually physically makes it into a courtroom.

What a happy coincidence for Democrats that, hours before the alleged crypto criminal Sam Bankman-Fried was due to testify before the House Financial Services Committee, he was arrested in the Bahamas. That meant that SBF, the second-biggest Democratic donor of the 2022 cycle—behind 92-year-old George Soros—was able to evade questioning from Republican House members.

Bankman-Fried helped to bankroll [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign and threw nearly $40 million behind Democratic candidates this year, and we have a feeling that questioning from Republican lawmakers would’ve been embarrassing for the Democratic Party. His testimony under oath would also have, presumably, been a boon for prosecutors who decided to arrest him on Monday instead. The timing is puzzling.

SBF was indicted by the Southern District of New York, which in the past few decades has served as the training ground for prominent political activists, including James Comey and Preet Bharara, and which is notorious for maintaining close ties to Washington. It is not hard to imagine that some behind-the-scenes negotiating saved SBF, and the Democrats, from an embarrassing and potentially self-incriminating performance. SBF hasn’t shut his mouth since his company, FTX, went belly up, and putting him behind bars may have been the party’s only hope.

Ah, yes. The SDNY, which stands for Supporting Democrats, Not You. No doubt Scam Bank-Fraud will find himself ensconced in the world famous Metropolitan Correctional Center, the same facility that once held friend to the great and near great Democrats, Jeffrey Epstein. Briefly. So, the SDNY saved their fellow travelers from being exposed in front of a GOP-led hearing. Assuming of course, the usual leftist house organs wouldn't spin the GOP as inquisitors and SBF as victim of McCarthyism. Joe, not Kevin. Or and Kevin after the media does its thing. That is if they even air and cover the hearings in the first place.

SBF's crime wasn't that he defrauded people out of tens or even hundreds of millions of bucks. It's that he defrauded the wrong people. Mostly leftists. More to the point, as commenter Huck Follywood notes, he was shooting his mouth off about it all over the place.

And despite his attempt at assuaging his guilt (if he even has a sense of it) or more accurately, kicking a very thick percentage of his take up to his capo regimes at the DNC, the exposure of those who benefitted from this largesse, despite the friendly air cover of state-controlled media, makes him a liability. As big a liability as Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell (whose continued presence above ground seems rather miraculous, all things considered).

Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, as we're preoccupied with a pervert drag queen who once posted "Kids Are Out to Sing and Suck D!" performing at the White House signing of the Orwellian "Respect for Marriage Act" that takes a Paul Pelosi hammer to First Amendment religious freedom protections, the border has all but vanished and America as both a sovereign nation and a distinct cultural identity and society is going with it.

A caravan of more than 1,000 illegal immigrants from Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua on Sunday "streamed across the southern border into Texas," the Daily Mail reported Monday.

The caravan, which the Daily Mail says may be "the largest in history," rushed across the Rio Grande into El Paso. Mexican police appear to have helped the immigrants cross the U.S. border, with images showing police "escorting nearly 20 buses filled with migrants into Ciudad Juarez," directly across the border from El Paso.

The mass crossing came nine days before the expiration of Title 42, a Trump-era policy that allows law enforcement to rapidly expel illegal immigrants. A federal judge already struck down the policy, though states are appealing that ruling. The Biden [junta], which earlier this year moved to end the policy, has started weighing similar policies as the border crisis worsens.

[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden has faced widespread criticism for his handling of border crossings, which have broken records since he took office. The president just last week declined to visit the border, saying that "there are more important things going on."

Like getting a drag queen to pimp you a tweener to sit on your lap and talk about the first thing that pops up. By the way, that Dick Cummings character, or whatever the sick pervert's nom-de-cum is, proudly performed once in front of a two-year-old. I don't know who deserves the Tehran Construction Crane treatment more; this freak or the baby's parents. But I digress.

And speaking of "strange fruit" dangling in mid-air (thank you, Lord, for inspiring my muse) . . .

Key lawmakers on Tuesday announced that they had struck a deal on the framework for funding the government through the end of the current fiscal year, with government funding set to run out on Friday. . . Leahy, Senate Appropriations ranking member Richard Shelby (R-AL), and House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) are leading the negotiations for a bill to fund the government through the current fiscal year. . .

. . . House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) reportedly told House Republicans he is a “hell no” on a full-year government spending package, CNN reported.

Bloomberg reported that between the House and Senate, the two chambers had published 7,509 earmarks in their proposed spending bills, bringing the total spending on earmarks to $16,012,972,565.

The full-year omnibus spending bill is expected to be $1.7 trillion. Further, the defense portion of the budget is expected to be $858 billion, according to Politico.

And they're going after Sam Bankfraud? There aren't enough lamp posts in DC. Meh each one gets two; a Democrat and a Republican in the spirit of bipartisanship. You know, considering all of the above, getting all worked up about Trump vs DeSantis, and who's a traitor or an asshole for going against or supporting one or the other seems rather a waste of time, n'est-ce pas? Everything is so utterly corrupted that even an army of Trumps and DeSantises couldn't even make dent in it. I don't see how.

Rationality, morality, ethics and sanity have been so completely turned upside down, both in politics and everyday life, that I just don't see a way out. But, every day's a new day and sometimes something totally unexpected out of left field happens that becomes a game-changer. We shall see.

This is like driving too fast in a school zone and getting hit with:

44 The people online who keep insisting that SBF should be forced to return the money don't seem to understand that the money isn't in some big secret pile someplace.

For all crypto's talk of being a hedge against inflation, most of its meteoric rise of the last few years was actually a product of inflation that SBF and others created by issuing their own tokens and manipulating the prices to be as high as possible. They would then borrow and lend against these tokens creating inflation for the crypto ecosystem.

They call this 'supporting the community' on twitter, but as is demonstrated by the catastrophic losses from Alameda, none of those people really understood how banking and capital markets actually work.

And although SBF is certainly guilty of fraud and mishandling assets, the price of those assets was also a product of all the credit that the crypto industry had taken on - a great deal of it linked to FTX. When FTX collapsed, all that credit was written down and BTC and others 'deflated'. So even if FTX gets untangled, when it is, the money simply won't be there anymore.

45 The court's decision in Kari Lake's suit is very encouraging. They did not dismiss the case, and have scheduled an expedited trial for the 21st and 22nd.

Lake will be allowed to present her evidence. We will see if Hobbs and Maricopa have any evidence to rebut.

The biggest risk was the court saying no standing, or referring to a lower court, but the fact that they scheduled a trial means that the accepted the legal pleadings regarding venue in Lake's filing.

Both GOP and Dems should start gearing up for the possibility of a new election, but odds are only the Dems are thinking ahead.

I doubt it. Bank-Fraud will get a deal, but because of that. They already know what names he could name. SBF is in deep and their creature. They'll cut the deal to kill several birds with one stone:
1. Keep him loyal ("we got you Club Fed instead of PMITA prison")
2. Keep an eye on him and keep him quiet
3. Keep his powerful mom happy
4. Put on a show of "justice being served" for the press, as if anyone believes that American Justice or American Law are things

If he lives through that (I think suicide or "suicide" are real possibilities, but not guarantees), look for them to do a retrospective in 5-7 years as a reform success story about America's federal incarceration system.

*Anyone* playing games like Epstein or Maxwell or Fried play should have a dead-man switch attached to their kompromat. The entire American political and legal system runs on mutual blackmail, but that only works if you make damn sure that your death (if you're a participant in the system) blows up the whole rotten artifice. A dead-man switch is a way to do that. This is a so-called "fail deadly" system and yeah, they're extremely dangerous. But then, so is the game itself.

I strongly suspect that Epstein had one, too - and made the titanic error of having Maxwell act as his dead-man switch.

Internally (within this country), I think that is entirely possible. They're large and in charge and most of the secrets are open anyway.

Foreign actors, though, are a different story. I think the real risk isn't of prosecution or revolt at the ballot box or bad press or being forced to resign or whatever. Foreign intelligence agents, though, might be a different story.

141 BREAKING: Outgoing Oregon Governor Commutes All Death Row Sentences, Orders Execution Chamber Dismantled

I understand that most states allow the governor to offer clemency, but this is clear abuse of the privilege that can only lead to a point where the governor determines guilt and sentences.

No matter what the courts and jury finds, the governor, without any knowledge whatsoever of the case can nullify the entire finding/sentence - and now can do it by mere blanket assertion.

Yep. Every deranged weirdo in government now has the implicit go-ahead to let their freak flag fly. When you object, you're a "phobe" (pick one) and should be cancelled or imprisoned.

149 Foreign intelligence agents, though, might be a different story.

The junta just freed The Merchant of Death for basically a washed up, game playing drug addict. And without any trade, they freed up quite a number of terrorists in GTMO - just because they could.

I fail to see how foreign intelligence agents should have any fear.

But if they flew out of IAD or DCA (the 2 DC area airports that are actually in VA), felonies are forever, and all of the politicians could get charged by VA.

That's probably a big reason behind keeping it all quiet...do you see the VA AG ignoring a list of DC politician pedophiles who flew out of his state?

In contrast and in response to their presidential election being stolen Brazilians took to the streets in the Millions and pledged to not allow the country to go back to normal until the 'election' is reversed.

167 We've had a problem with the intelligence community/deep state for a very long time. But 9/11 took things to an entirely different level.

The biggest revelation to come from the Twitter files so far is not that they banned Trump and many of his supporters as well as people who were telling the truth about the virus. The biggest revelation is that Twitter was basically just another extension of the intel community.

This is why trial being scheduled on the 21st and 22nd is a hopefully sign. They are taking the challenge seriously and giving time to rule before inauguration.

Expidited trial was the best possible outcome from yesterday's hearing.

They spied on him, lied about him, lied about his supporters, demonized us and threw many in prison for minor "crimes" like parading while ignoring the blatant crimes of the left. Now they are going after Trump over non-crimes to prevent him from ever taking office again. And they are never held accountable.

Viagra Lowers the Risk of Alzheimer's by Almost 70%, Study Says New research published recently suggests that Pfizer’s erectile dysfunction drug Viagra can decrease the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease by up to 69 percent.

The research, which was published in Nature, found that the medication has a direct effect on brain health and significantly reduces the toxic proteins that can cause dementia.

Seriously though, Viagra is not an aphrodisiac i.e. does not itself cause arousal, it just enhances penile blood flow if/when arousal occurs. So, old folks taking the stuff (presumably on a continuing basis) to ward of dementia are not going to automatically turn into sex machines.

But, if it also helps with ED, what's to complain about?

One current theory is that the brain engages in 'housekeeping' when we sleep, and that lack of sleep is very, very bad, and could be behind dementia. I mix a quarter tab (25 milligrams) of the blue pill with 12 ounces of water. If I take a healthy swig of that before sliding under the covers there's a 50/50 chance I'll sleep through the night without a single side trip to pee. The water bottle lasts quite a few days, so probably in the range of 3 to 5 milligrams per day. Only side effect is morning wood. Speaking of, haven't seen Herr Morgan...whatever, in a while.

352 The SB-F saga stinks to high heaven. Is the game in why it was allowed to go on as it had because there were no set rules, no specific legal requirements because it was politically advantageous?

On Nov 15 (updated 11/24), beingcrypto dot com had an article, under the Markets News Report, entitled 'Anti-Crypto US Senator Elizabeth Warren Had Close Ties With Sam Bankman-Fried' and included In Brief 'Crypto billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried's parents have made academic and monetary contributions to Democrats' and
'Bankman-Fried's father Joseph Bankman endorsed a tax-related bill proposed by crypto critic Senator Elizabeth Warren in 2016.'

Dad's biography, Directory for Stanford Law, states in part "A leading scholar in the field of tax law, Joseph Bankman is the author of two widely used casebooks on the subject. His writings on tax policy cover topics such as progressivity, consumption tax and the role of tax in the structure of Silicon Valley start-ups. He has gained wide attention for his work on how government might control the use of tax shelters and has testified before Congress and other legislative bodies on tax compliance problems posed by the cash economy."

WTF?! The entire family sitting in the Bahamas while Sam & Max tweet back & forth. Theater. Completely planned & as much as a political coverup as possible. IMHO.

Oh, and mom's Stanford bio says, in part, "interests lie at the intersection of law, economics, and philosophy. She has written extensively on questions of distributive justice, in the areas of tax policy, property theory and political theory. She is also the author of a path-breaking intellectual biography of Robert Hale, one of the leading legal realists."

Aah, the 'intersection' thing again.

The domestic terrorism analyst with the Department of Homeland Security saw a link to a website where people “actively at that moment were discussing the commission of acts of terroristic violence and the violent overthrow of the government of the United States,” according to the analyst’s written account later provided to investigators.

There the analyst “witnessed upwards of 500 pages worth of potential threats to national security,” including people urging others — and discussing how — to smuggle illegal weapons into the nation’s capital and avoid detection by law enforcement. The DHS intelligence analyst also saw “discussion references of overthrowing the US Government by force/sparking a second civil war, and veiled credible threats of violence toward other US persons who were perceived enemies, specifically Members of Congress and other federal employees.”
