They were doing the bomber parade. We heard something that caused us to look, I saw the tail section of the B-17 falling and the rest of the plane fall and turn into a fireball. I never saw the P-63. My eyes went to the B-17. I thought one of the mustangs had possibly hit it. Found out later what had happened. And saw the video. I didn't take any photos. I was kind of in shock. I think my understanding of what a red wave would be, is when the public came out and voted their displeasure with the current party in power, handing control of Congress to the GOP, be it by a narrow majority or a large majority. I guess I just misunderstood. Posted by: Bitter Clinger at November 12, 2022 10:19 PM (vwMFL) 114

My take on the video was the King Cobra was in a left turn with the plane's belly to the B17. Unlikely he could have had the B17 in sight at that point as it was in his blind spot. Significant speed differential as well.
Why? One possibility would be the King Cobra was out of position and increased power to get back in position and lost sight of the B17. Increased speed would have increased his turn radius as well putting him further right. Not optimism at all. They just spent the last two years telling anyone who would listen they would never vote to end the filibuster and Manchin in particular has been raging against Biden lately for his war on coal. He's not likely to help him anymore than he has coming from the reddest state in the union. Let's hope they can't steal the House and then it will become a moot point. re Vote by Mail Shenanigans: I have to wonder how many of the Mail-in Ballots are diverted by the Postal Service to Democrat-funded groups, rather than delivered to the correct address? And how many destined for Republican voters are are destroyed by Postal Service employees before delivery and/or after being filled-out and given back to the post office one way or another?

If lack of spending is what cost us, I just don't know what else to do.
If the voters are so stupid that they are like "Oh? There's a Republican running? I had no idea! I wish I'd known earlier! Ironically, the lefty Dave Wasserman has a decent call on the outstanding House seats. There are really 5 seats that are tossups, and the Democrats have to take all 5 to retain the majority.
One of them is AZ-1, where Hodge (D) holds a 3K lead. However, Sweikart (R) has a lot of votes in the Maricopa tranche that is being held back. Another is AZ-6, where Ciscomani (R) has a 1700 vote lead. Posted by: Dave in Fla at November 12, 2022 10:43 PM (5p7BC) 210

In 1995 we had a "WW-II Victory Celebration" airshow. Part of it was a CAF TBM Avenger torpedo bomber. Back in those days I had a sideline involving a talk radio station, and I admit that I was rather enthusiastically promoting the show. When I got there, I found out that the station had arranged that I would be allowed to fly in the Avenger when it took off to start the show. There was a TV cameraman in the navigator's seat, and I rode in the gun turret when we buzzed the town to announce the start of the show.

great interview with Dave Fla ... but I do think they are trying to steal the senate race from Masters. Last uproar is over sending the ballots to "FIX IS IN: Arizona Ballots Make Stop at Runbeck Printing Company to Scan Ballot Envelopes Before They Are Sent to County --WITH NO OBSERVERS".
quote from gateway pundit ... other reports on mixing of the ballots from those 30% of mostly conservative voting centers that were told "just put the ballot in this box, we will take it downtown and count it, trust us." That "box" only had 17,000 ... seems very low. Of course the fact they are taking many days to count several thousand ballots is crazy ... obviously the want time to "fix the wrong ballots" and add as necessary. Lake likely has enough to overcome ... Masters is close and the cheat could change the outcome. Posted by: illiniwek at November 12, 2022 10:48 PM (Cus5s) 226

AZ is really a red state, by probably about 5% or so, and we're supposed to believe that a great candidate like Kari Lake, endorsed by Trump, with all the economic carnage being perpetrated by the Dems, vs a mousy nitwit hiding in her basement, is legitimately CLOSE at this point? To think we have people in here saying it's because Republicans are good at "getting out the vote", or something. Since 3 of the 5 are in California and 2 in Arizona, and Democrats in both states tend to cheat, a 4-1 Dem-Rep split on those last 5 is not all that unlikely. We shall see. Optimizer, how did the Antrim County investigation end up? If it did. I don't mean the immediate (state) court case - in which the judge brought things to a close, but emphatically pointed out that it was compelled by state law, and was no reflection at all on the merits or facts of the case.
Did they pursue it further? (Ultra-simplified summary: Antrim County, smallest county in MI, was the one place where actual vote-switching by, or through abuse of, the Dominion system was known, in detail, to have occurred. Actual numbers, votes were then correctly re-allocated - only reason it was noticed was because the area is so small, and an election worker knew the candidates in a local race and thought "nah, that's impossible!" when he saw the numbers) Posted by: rhomboid at November 12, 2022 11:18 PM (OTzUX) 312

I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP establishment tries to push through amnesty in the next two years. I was probably dismissed as a troll for bringing this up a day or two ago, but I've been concerned about how the Republicans are measuring the curtains in the Speakers office, when they haven't actually got their 218 yet, and the delays in these race calls could mean an attempt to steal the House.
Well, an article today says that, yes, 7 more are still needed: tinyurl.com/5ysx4r9h People don't seem to understand that the ranked voting in AK pretty much guarantees a win there, so make that 6 more needed. Also, in NY-22 & OR-05, the republican has claimed victory, and the media seems to agree, although the challenger hasn't conceded. I get the feeling the final outcome has already been decided by the Uniparty establishment. I listened to most of the "Dave in Fla" podcast, and didn't think much of it, but I think it was there it was theorized that the desired outcome is a tiny R majority, so the new Speaker can claim impotence. I buy that part, but I'd say the fix is in, not that the leadership skillfully allocated funds in a way to make it happen. C'mon - these people are just not that competent. This is the smoking gun for fraud. They are not going to waste manufacturing votes for state reps. That is too time consuming. They only focus on the big stuff.
One of the signs of the Steal in 2020 in PA was the absurd number of votes cast just for Biden and no lower races. As you point out it is difficult to fix the lower races because it is very, very easy to accidentally vote for a candidate in the wrong district and give the game away. Rhomboid, I don't think many of these issues are due to gerrymandering or red district distribution. PA-12, one in NC, and a couple in CA. CA in particular is a problem since so many GOP votes are in McCarthy's district, when they need to be next door.
I think this is Democrat VBM turnout (and fraud), since specific districts are not seeing the same GOP margins as the rest of the country. VA-7 for example. Weird thing is it didn't happen everywhere. Dems didn't get the same turnout anomalies in NY for example, and as many seats flipped there as in Florida. I think the operations are run by the state parties, and not all of them used them or maybe couldn't afford to do it everywhere. We don't know how much this operation costs. Indeed. What I believe is going on is that the good guys are working very hard to stop the steal from Kari Lake, and they still think they can do that. From there, I believe Kari Lake will expose the massive 2020 fraud in AZ - maybe even get people thrown in jail over it. She'll push for de-certification, and eliminate the fraud machines. This will be done in a high-profile manner, awakening the public, and other states will start to fall in line like dominoes. The new NV governor may do much of the same. Posted by: rhomboid at November 12, 2022 11:18 PM (OTzUX) All I was getting at was that what happened was: (1) the machines were used and came up with an obviously bogus count (2) after it was noticed, they called it a "glitch" and re-did it, resulting in a new count which was also wrong, and had a different number of total votes (by about 2k, IIRC). (3) then they did it a 3rd count with the machines, apparently both after eliminating any malware interference, and not screwing up the execution. They did a hand count, which matched the 3rd set of numbers pretty well. So they declared that the machines worked! You can't make this stuff up. It was completely obvious that the machines had been used to cheat, and they went back and modified them to not cheat before running it again. I recall that the legal proceedings went further than others at the time, but if it went to the bitter end we probably wouldn't still be using machines. I think the lawyer that spotted the fraud, and pushed the legal case ran for statewide office, but he probably lost, given what's happened in MI lately. Researchers told CNN that despite the extremely low chance of winning, state lotteries still aggressively market the lottery and sell tickets to low-income communities at higher rates, thus misleading Americans to believe it will help them quickly generate wealth. “These communities are disproportionately made up of Black and Brown people. Critics say the consequence is that marginalized people will be driven into deeper debt by a system that is transferring wealth out of their communities,” CNN’s Nicquel Terry Ellis and Justin Gamble wrote. A lot of us (most maybe) said after 2020 that they would steal it again in 2022, but that seemed to be forgotten in all the red wave talk.
but there is a reason that the Dems gave the daily dose of "election deniers" for 2 years. They want to prevent anyone from claiming the election stolen (and sometimes under penalty of arrest). And those poor J6ers are facing at least another 2 years of political persecution. Posted by: Guy Mohawk at November 13, 2022 12:07 AM (8GBH4) 420

First off, who's to put limits on what the Enemy can get away with? They control the information that normies take in, and normies seem to be conditioned to believe what they are told. Toss in the general sense of worry and fear and most people don't feel secure enough to stand up and be known as someone who doesn't agree with the "general consensus" as stated in the media. On the other thing that happened today which is not as essential but still important at least to me, that was another thing that leads to me having very mixed feelings about the CAF, which I have donated to many times over the years. Their hearts are in the right place and they have restored many planes, but they do crash an awful lot of them. Many were the only flying ones. I don't know how they choose pilots but they really need to look at that.

No, it doesn't. Because I think Lake will win because she took steps before the election to have an assload of lawyers on site overseeing the 3rd world elections in AZ. I think others will benefit from that and I do expect that we will barely keep the House. But I don't put the whole mess on Democrat cheating, I put as much on the Republican establishment that also knows what's going on and didn't do shit in places it mattered. You still think Republicans are going to win the House??? I have a tinyURL in a comment on this thread to an article from 12NOV saying where things stand. It says we need 7 more, and lists the races that are still contested. AK-01 is guaranteed to go R. It's a "ranked voting" thing, and the only D running only has about 9% of the vote. The Republican has claimed victory in NY-22 & OR-05, and the media seems to be backing that up. So that's probably 3 right there, out of the 7 needed. It's funny about CA. Even districts where it's a race between two Dems are proceeding as slowly in the counting as the others. There a several CA districts where the R is the incumbent, and way ahead, so those could be wins. Boebert pulled ahead, last I heard. Also, WA-03 has been Republican for 12 years. So yeah, it doesn't really look like they'll steal it from the Republicans, but the majority will be very thin, and that will weaken the value of that majority. You must be looking at different drops. Can you post them please? @Peoples_Pundit Looking at it in more detail, the Maricopa drop tonight (which we thought Lake would lose) is very similar to the batch that did in Donald Trump in 2020. Lake won it by 4, which is another out-performance vs. Donald Trump Posted by: JackStraw at November 13, 2022 12:19 AM (ZLI7S) 440
If you knew the Rs would win the generic Congressional ballot by 4.7% you would have thought 30 seats was possible. I guess Ace's theory that Ds are so much more concentrated in blue districts did not hold true this time. It was the Rs that over performed in safe districts and are coming up short in the swing districts.
The problem is the laziness barrier, which has protected the country from truly uninformed people participating in the process, has been overcome through mass distribution of mail in ballots. These people are now voting, or rather their ballots are being completed, mailed in or harvested by dirtbag D activists. The solution is to discourage voting whenever possible. And that doesn't matter. The problem in AZ is the election laws which were written, ironically, by Republicans of the McCain ilk. We don't need 3rd world elections in the US that allow for weeks of mass mail in voting, massive adjudication and 30% of the election machines going down on election day which just happens to be when the vast majority of Republican actually vote. There is no reason AZ can't have the same type of elections they have in FL that report the votes a few hours after the polls close instead of no answers 5 days later. This is politics and last I heard Trump was a Russian plant and half the Republican party did dick to support that obvious lie for 4 years. If you think thing Trump is going to roll over for a guy he helped put in office when he was in 3rd place before Trump endorsed and campaigned for him you're delusional. And you still don't seem to know who is backing DeSantis. Blackmailing is not telling the truth about who is supporting your candidacy. We think of Lucy as some natural cut-up goof type. That's how she came off on I love Lucy. You'd think she was just a natural at acting crazy and making it damn funny. She was not. They say she hardly knew what was funny. Desi knew though. She rehearsed all those famous bits she did like a madwoman. She practiced the timing down to the fraction of a second. I'm trying to remember a story about one those famous I Love Lucy scenes. Another actress was supposed to take a swing at Lucy. That actress messed up and actually hit Lucy for real, and hard. E. A. Blair,
The problem I see with your comment is that one never knows just what sparks resistance/rebellion. People will adjust to a 'new normal' for quite a while but at some point that willingness to adapt is going to stop. Look at how long it took for the American Revolution to get going. The Boston Tea Party (the resistance part) was in 1773 while Lexington/Concord (the shooting part) was in 1775. And our Revolution/insurrection/rebellion was purely political. When you toss in hunger and lack of other resources like electricity, heating or fresh clean water, rebellion can happen with alacrity. A preference cascade against the current status quo, if you will. Posted by: RickZ at November 13, 2022 03:06 AM (emlEe) 577

Even after Lucy and Desi divorced, she always had kind things to say about Desi as far as his overall comedic talent and genius. She never seemed to downplay Desi's role in her success. Besides, playing the straight guy is not easy (especially today! [sad 'ha-ha']). Posted by: RickZ at November 13, 2022 03:11 AM (emlEe) 580
Now, Jack Benny was just the opposite. He was indeed a natural, and had probably the best comic timing of any, at least in the modern era of which we have records. When Jack died, Bob Hope was supposed to give the main eulogy. He couldn't do it, just getting too choked up. George Burns did it for Bob, and remarked that Jack was supposed to have the best timing of any comedian, but this time, Jack, you stunk. Way too early. Sure, that's true...you never do know. But I think the problem today is more about how the spirit of the masses has changed. People's will has degraded. The problem with Desi was he was a poon hound. Man just couldn't keep it in his pants when some young hottie caught his eye. I remember a Johnny Carson show back in he '70s. I think the problem today is many are waiting for 'someone else' to start things. We all know the first head or two that pops up gets blown off, so there is fear. But hunger wipes away fear because, at that point, what do they have to lose? You must also toss in the 2nd Amendment. The Dems/globalists may try to get rid of it and take our guns, but those who own firearms have seen what happened in England, Oz, NZ and even Canada. Gun owners will not give in to gun grabbers. Screwing around with that could get this party going much faster. Posted by: RickZ at November 13, 2022 03:26 AM (emlEe) 586
True Story: George Burns loved to make his friends laugh, and at very inappropriate times. It was his little pranks. Jack Benny, his wife, George and Gracie play in London, before QE II. Her Majesty does a meet and greet with them all backstage after the performance. They're lined up, and the Queen is walking down. As the Queen approaches Jack, George whispers, "Now, Jack, whatever you do, don't laugh!" What did Jack do? Busted out laughing when the Queen spoke to him. At the same meet and greet, and this is probably not really true, but it's in the lore: When Her Majesty spoke to George Burns, complimenting him on his performance, he said, well, thank you, uh, I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name? Jack, standing close by, fell in the floor laughing at that. Again, this story is probably not true, but the above, "Don't laugh Jack", is. 'Gun owners will not give in to gun grabbers."
They'll submit. I'm sorry but it's true. The Left will come at us sideways - insurance, college admissions, business loans, bank accounts, hospice care for parents - everything will be tied to the fact that your name is on that evil Gun Registration List. We will drive our weapons downtown and beg some DMV beurocrat to "please let me turn in my weapons and take my name of that damn list so grandpa can get his morphine and not die in agony" We've telegraphed that we will only use violence as a last resort. If the enemy knows you won't strike first. they can ensure that you never strike at all. Posted by: Fen6 at November 13, 2022 03:41 AM (naHzv) 590

The motherWEFers want us all dead.
Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley at November 13, 2022 02:44 AM (Mzdiz) I was reading something today about food dyes, and didn't realize that some of the "natural" dyes are made from crushed insect parts, and as such, are not Kosher. And the WEFers want us all to start eating insects now. I think they may be a tad anti-Semitic...... The modern American diet is metabolic poison, I've come to realize. High to ultra-processed foods are poison. You wouldn't believe how much the typical diet has changed over the last few decades. And that change correlates with all the bad stuff, The Diabeetus, obesesity, heart disease, cancer, etc. 10, 15 years ago, I would've dismissed this as kookery. Now, I understand. The elites want the peasants fat, stupid, and sickly. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley at November 13, 2022 04:06 AM (Mzdiz) 597

Yemenite Jews commonly ate them when they still resided in Yemen. Here's an Israeli company that breeds them.
