Nope, feral dogs do plenty of damage to livestock. They are one of the excuses that the feds use to avoid paying ranchers for wolf killed livestock.

I have a lot of sympathy. I get so sick of dog owners not controlling their dogs and then claiming "oh he's just friendly" as their precious fvcking predator launches itself slobbering and snarling at me on my bike.

When you're the only other human around and the dog owner gets startled (which happens despite best efforts if I am riding in the woods), a lot of dogs go into attack mode. Friend in South Texas will watch the pack for a while, figure out which dog is Alpha, and that's his first target. Really brainfuzles the other dogs when the top one goes down.
Dogicide. On a working ranch, it's as necessary as can be. Those packs can, will and do take down pretty much any livestock or ranch pets that they lay teeth on.
Come the burning times, it's going to be just as necessary to take out the suburban and urban packs, too. Yes, sometimes even the dogs.

I know what you mean, but sometimes if you are busy doing something, it's nice to just put on the tunes and not pay attention to it. But, some of these services like pushing a bunch of 2nd rate shit. Bands you barely heard of playing mediocre stuff, or top bands playing some of their stuff that was never popular.
So, you are stuck listening to stuff you really aren't into, or you have to keep skipping stuff, only to be told by the "service" that you have used up all your skips.
I like it much better if the service lets you build your own playlist with whatever you choose. When you got time, you can check out other playlists, but you have that choice.

My new Cherokee has what is basically a tablet in the dashboard that controls all the operations, from stereo to AC to I can even press a button and a concierge will start speaking to me. It's called the uconnect.
I think something like this will be the future standard, I'm banking on it.
It's a laborious process, but when I'm finished digitizing each album and then running them thru this program called mp3tag that tags them metadata and album cover etc, I will have in my car all 10,000 albums plus much more instantly available, and even searchable or voice recall. I can say the album and it will begin playing.

The upside-down finishing washers on the door sill plate screws were not, in fact upside-down, but turned inside-out from being overtightened into countersunk holes. If you have countersunk holes, you don't need finishing washers. They used incorrect screws with captive finishing washers on them. I took all the finishing washers off the screws, and reinstalled them. They seated nicely in the countersunk holes, and look 100% better. Cost, zero.
Looks like I have alignment work to do, too. The car drove OK on pavement, but on the gravel, I had to herd it between the ditches. Well, it turns out to have nearly a full inch of toe-in! 1/16 to 1/8 is the norm. And both front wheels show visible negative camber, and specs call for between zero and half degree positive. I am thinking the upper control arm inner shafts got flipped over at some point. That would make the camber go negative, and also increase the toe.

I've been watching a few Russian tv series (with subtitles). Some are good, some you have to know History to understand the propaganda. But they are mostly entertaining.
I'm not one of those 'Go UKRAINE!' people. My attitude is the Ukraine and the US antagonized Russia, the Ukes by shelling areas of the Ukraine with a large Russian population (who want to become part of Russia) to the point where Russia was forced to act, along with NATO encroachment. That the Obama Administration was heavily involved in the Maidan Coup in 2014 (overthrowing a pro-Russian leader for the 'pro-West' Zelensky) was also a serious provocation.
I'm not a Putin fan at all, but I can honestly see Russia's reason for this 'adventurism'. Unfortunately for Putin, Russia's military is the definition of a paper tiger: Crappy equipment and crappy training. Using nukes will not help that situation. The only thing left in order for Putin to save face is to be much more heavy-handed in fighting the Ukraine. But that loses, too.

I have no direct knowledge of this but there was someone who knew many details and who had been in contact with rangers that the dog wasn't running loose, it had been caught in a snare, and the woman came upon it.
Skinning a dog and posting it on Facebook with a big grin, is a sign of her lacking any kind of sense.
She spent some time denying it was a dog before settling on this new "it was coming right for me" defense.

At 14???? Wow! Though my red tabby Arizona was in very good health until that year and still played regularly. I'm waiting for these 2 to settle down. Stirling the big black kitten has to a degree. Dagny the girl, not so much.
Stirling still thinks he's a boy, so he's bothering her. All I can think of to stop him is squirting him with water; I can't keep them separated during the day.

Big Arizona made it to 16.5, a third of my life at the time. He's the champ so far. Chekov D. Siberian was 14.5, and the others all came in around 12-13 -- except little Tatiana the Wonder Siberian, who passed away with heart trouble at almost 4.

Costco uses Citi Visas.

I have one. That's my only connection to citi. I have their money for a month (pay it off religiously), they don't have mine.
The alerts from costco/citi come in almost instantly, my cell buzzes while I'm pulling away from the pump. Most alerts from my CU card take hours, sometimes a couple of days.
