FedEx down 20% pre market as it announced store closings and a significant decline in its delivery business, saying it will miss expectations. Contrast that with Fox's story saying Biden's approvals are shifting positive. The polls are lying, the media is lying, the government is lying. You know what's really happening. Stay focused and start the repair in November.

And the evening and the morning were the Friday; and it was good!
Up later than usual, as today I'll bring the black kitten Stirling to the vet for his alterations. He goes in for 8; I'll stop and have a coffee and a biscuit, then cross the bridge -- trying to do it between 8 and 8:45 will be a mess -- and pray I find a parking space at work. It feels strange to be drinking coffee this late during the week. Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at September 16, 2022 05:36 AM (c6xtn) 17

The young Louise Fletcher, the famous "Nurse Ratched" of the Cuckoo's Nest film, is guest-starring on a 1959 episode of Lawman on H & I. Russell Johnson, Gilligan's "Professor," is in the cast too. From what I've seen, neither Restless Gun w/ John Payne nor this series can compare to the gold standard of 30-min. TV Westerns like Have Gun -- Will Travel and The Rifleman. But they seem like good stuff.

It's another glorious day here in the upstate of SC...or as we call it, God's country. Gonna play a round of golf this morning before work. Yep, got myself a part time job. Working as a cart attendant at the country club. Clean the carts as they come in and put 'em back out for the golfers. On Fridays, get a lot of Clempson Cow College students playing in the afternoon. I'm also a part time course ranger. Last Friday, had a group of 40 students playing. Had to occasionally ride around the course and ask some of them to speed it up. And of course, they all wanted to play from the tips...the championship tees. Hell, I play from the most forward tees I can. I want at least a chance, amirite? Did the feds require Chicago to be a "sanctuary city" or was it the Chicago voters? Because I believe the blame should be pinned on the voters (who were involved in the installment of pols who did designate Chicago as a "sanctuary city" in violation of the federal laws). It just seems odd that a city that fashionably breaks federal laws is wanting the federal government to reward them for the effort using money stolen for people who want the law followed.
