The Morning Report — 8/4/22

jekhydamd.jpg

Good morning, kids. Thursday and the lawlessness as well as the outrageous chutzpocrisy of this regime continue apace. This morning's prime example is the Kalorama puppet masters manipulating Prez Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants' strings to sign a blatantly illegal executive order funding abortions with federal tax dollars.

[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden signed an executive order on Wednesday to allow Medicaid to help women get abortions out of state if they live in a state that has banned abortion.

“You know, I created this task force by executive order last month and — to ensure that every part of the federal government does its part at this critical moment where women’s health and lives are on the line amidst chaos and uncertainty unleashed by this decision,” Biden said, speaking virtually at the first interagency task force on reproductive healthcare access.

“Emergency medical care being denied to women experiencing miscarriages. Doctors uncertain about what they can do to provide for their patients. Pharmacists unsure whether they can fill prescriptions that they’ve always filled before. A tragic cases of rape survivors, including a 10-year-old girl forced to travel to another state for care,” he said.

“You know, and wiping out the right to choose on — whether you have incest, abortion — I mean, excuse me, incest or having a rape or — I mean, it just — this is just extreme.  You know, even the life of the mother is in question in some case — in some states,” the president said.

“Republicans in Congress and their extreme MAGA ideology are determined to go even further, talking about nationwide bans that would outlaw abortion in every state, under every circumstance, going after the broader right to privacy as well, but as I’ve said before, this fight is not over, and we saw that last night in Kansas,” Biden said.

Where to even begin to unpack this sickening maelstrom of incoherence, halitosis, slurs and complete bullshit. Aside from bringing up the now debunked myth of the 10-year-old girl being denied an abortion after being raped — the salient point that she was sexually assaulted by an illegal alien who was protected and defended by the mother being completely censored from the press accounts — there is no "chaos and uncertainty" in the wake of the SCOTUS decision. Abortion to a greater or lesser extent is still legal in the areas of heathen influence otherwise known as blue states, and either outlawed or restricted to greater or lesser extents in normal America. This is what's known as "federalism," Joey. It's among the founding pillars of this nation in that the decentralization of lawmaking limits the power and usurpation of absolute power by a central authoritarian government and vests it as closely as possible to the individual citizen. But owing to nearly 60 years of brainwashing disguised as the American educational system and twice that of a propaganda industry disguised as journalism, you can understand how an alarmingly large segment of society doesn't get that.

I will say I do love that part about "extreme MAGA ideology." I guess to a brain-damaged pervert criminal who made his bones tearing down the country and its institutions to line his pockets pursuing a fever dream of being emperor, anything that gets in the way of that is "extreme." Meh, I don't want to make America great again. I want to make America AMERICA again — with the exception of giving free one-way helicopter rides on Aerolineas Pinochet to anyone standing in our way. But I digress.

And that segues into the chutzpocrisy segment of my opening statement, wherein inept, Jew-hating, mop top lesbian junta mouthpiece whose only claim to fame is being an inept, Jew-hating, mop top, lesbian junta mouthpiece for an inept junta Karine Jean-Pierre made this declaration:

Eternal Word Television Network Washington correspondent Owen Jensen argued the newly signed executive order violates the beliefs of pro-life Americans, as it directs Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra consider having Medicaid fund travel expenses for women traveling across state lines for an abortion.

“Why does the president want to force pro-life Americans, including Catholics, which he is one, to subsidize abortions?” he asked.

“Federal law makes clear [that] doctors must provide emergency medical care, including abortion services to subsidize women facing life-threatening conditions,” Jean-Pierre said. “We are working to ensure that pregnant women whose life and lives are in serious jeopardy receive the care that they need. This is what it is. This is what we’re trying to do. This is what the president promised that he would do. . .”

. . . “On the proposal to have Medicaid fund travel expenses for women seeking abortion, how would that not violate Hyde if it’s using taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions?” he asked.

“This EO will not violate the Hyde Amendment, it is law, and we follow the law here,” Jean-Pierre said.

First of all, and please correct me if I am wrong, from my perspective, if a critically ill woman who is pregnant requires treatment that would threaten the life of the baby, there is no question that any doctor who did not go to the same medical school as Mengele or Fauci would do anything in their power to save the lives of mother and unborn child. But, were that not possible and the child died while saving the mother, that would not constitute abortion or infanticide but merely tragic circumstance. Again, I am not a medical professional but I have not heard of nor know of any hypothetical situation where a doctor had to kill the unborn child to 100% guarantee the saving of the life of the mother. That situation as I understand it is rare in the extreme, and yet it is a central argument the left harps about in pushing for infanticide with no questions asked. In any case, declaring abortion as "medical care" is on par with describing the gas chambers as "showers."

More crucially, from a legal perspective, and really from just a plain common sense perspective, an executive order is NOT a law. It was not passed legally by Congress and enacted as law. It's at best a temporary dodging of the law unless and until a restraining order or lawsuit at SCOTUS says otherwise. And yet Mop-Top the carpet munching fool insists otherwise and you're a racist for declaring otherwise. Naked Emperor Demento the First cannot just raid the treasury and give money away as he sees fit. But, he is Naked Emperor Demento the First and this is not America.

But, like redefining what a recession is, declaring the self-inflicted catastrophe of the Afghanistan bug-out to be a great victory (Kirby: "I Take Issue With The Premise That We Gave a Whole Country to Terrorist Groups"), taking on trillions more in debt and raising taxes while destroying our fossil fuel industry will reduce inflation and that the greatest threats to our national security are carbon dioxide and white people exhaling same, insisting that a blatantly unconstitutional executive order is actually completely kosher is just par for the friggin' course. Yet, more and more people are aware of the lies and worse, the fact that they're defecating in our mouths and telling us it's filet mignon. That tends to get one angry.

9 Medicaid paying for abortion travel? That's actually amazing. It should just be subsidized by the Wall Street cabal that CLEARLY loves abortion more than money. And yet, Biden wants to pick a path that will rightly be struck down by the Supreme Court.

Not that I truly care: this makes it more likely that some other President will be able to slash Medicaid deeply, if not end that black hole of corruption.

There are circumstances, like the Duggar's mom, where you need to birth the baby, even though they might not be viable, to save the mom. In that case, the baby was 22 weeks, and did end up surviving and thriving. Births to save the mom are also not considered abortions b/c the plan in the birth is to try and save the kid. That is not always possible or likely. Then again, these situations don't involve ripping a baby limb from limb or sucking its brain out, so there's that...

There are more non-DOD federal employees with firearms (200,000+) than there are U.S. Marines (186,000).
The Internal Revenue Service has 2,159 “Special Agents” and spent $21.3 million on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment between fiscal years 2006 and 2019. The agency stockpiled 4,500 guns and five million rounds of ammunition.
The Office of Inspector General at HHS owns 1,300 guns including one shotgun, five submachine guns, and 189 automatic firearms. Over the last eight years, the HHS has purchased four million rounds of ammunition.
The Social Security Administration has a stockpile of 800,000 rounds of ammunition.
The Environmental Protection Agency just spent $61,650 purchasing “body armor systems” for 137 special agents. Their gun locker includes 867,000 rounds of ammunition and 600 guns.

69 JJ-

re: abortion to save the life of the mother. In my experience, this is not likely to be a late term decision, rather a situation where the woman has a chronic serious medical condition (e.g. palliated but not repaired congenital heart defect with congestive heart failure) where the increased circulatory burden of pregnancy poses a grave risk to the woman. In these cases, if pregnancy occurs the decision is usually made early on to have an abortion. These women are usually advised to take proactive steps to avoid pregnancy.

And you are right, such circumstances are quite rare.

KJP painting this as an epidemic of women dying because of emergency conditions is flat out wrong.

I have a question for those who know more about Medicaid than I do. I know we're post-law and it doesn't matter, but I'd like to understand the technical pieces better. The Hyde Amendment notwithstanding, what is the legal mechanism for this? Per my understand - which could well be wrong, thus the question - Medicaid is state-level. There are federal funds for it in the form of block grants, but there is also a state burden and the states administer it. How can an EO dictate terms to state Medicaid when the states are the ones on the hook for it? Is it a "comply or lose the block grant" along the lines of "have a seatbelt law or lose highway funding" or is there some other mechanism?

77 The power supply to the building had little spare capacity. Thus only 5 or 6 charging points could be installed in a building with 188 apartments.
The electrical set-up, including the mains supply on any floors to which a charger was linked, would require upgrading, as would the building’s main switchboard.
The vicinity in which the building sits was designed with a particular mains power supply in mind. Consequently, there is insufficient capacity for any significant number of charging points in each building in the vicinity. Moreover, two substations supplying the whole of Melbourne’s CBD are stretched as it is.

As they say in Aussieland! You are fucked and far from home!

80 What's going on in Arizona is a joke and embarrassment.

Elections, in theory, are simply counting a largely circumscribed, finite set of things.

This should not take days, weeks and months.

Any election results that cannot be posted within the day of the election are ipso facto illegitimate.

It's not an intractable unsolvable problem. The remedies are relatively simple and easy. The fact that they are not used means TPTB don't want the issue fixed. TPTB benefit from the chaos. This is corruption.

81 First of all, and please correct me if I am wrong, from my perspective, if a critically ill woman who is pregnant requires treatment that would threaten the life of the baby, there is no question that any doctor who did not go to the same medical school as Mengele or Fauci would do anything in their power to save the lives of mother and unborn child. But, were that not possible and the child died while saving the mother, that would not constitute abortion or infanticide but merely tragic circumstance.
++++
More to the point, if the mother's life is at risk and an abortion or forced delivery with low odds of success is required, then how do you square filling out a bunch of paperwork with a government bureaucracy to then travel to another state with what is, in most if not all cases, an emergency?

The state government now has ample justification to take control and oversee Maricopa County elections in November.

That is what the Arizona legislature should be discussing at the moment. They don't even need to frame it as fraudulent, just merely that Maricopa County has proven itself unable to conduct an election in a time-frame that allows the state to certify elections in a timely fashion.

Makes no difference, Lake has won that race. There is no outstanding group of votes that are yet to be tallied that can overcome Robson's 11,000 vote deficit. I expect that in the end Lake will have officially won by 3 points.

Looks like the McCain machine was only able to manufacture about 20K fraudulent votes in Maricopa, the new voter ID law must have cut into their fraud capabilities. With the heavy election day turnout of Hispanic males for Lake, that was easily overcome by day of voting.

It makes a difference. Lake might be able to overcome the fraud in the primary, but that's just round 1. Maricopa County is clearly and demonstrably corrupt and the state has a direct interest in intervening because Maricopa is so huge that it can move the rest of the state in the general. If the state of Arizona doesn't make big, public moves about fraud in Maricopa and it do so damned soon, then they're very clearly telling the residents of that state - and the rest of the country, because AZ is quite important overall - that they have no integrity and vote from there should not be trusted in the slightest.

AZ needs to punish the malefactors in Maricopa and impose new rules. The stakes are fairly high, even if the consequences are downstream and in the future. They know it. They're doing nothing. Therefore, AZ's state government can eat a bag of dicks, too, and if they reap the whirlwind then so be it.

This really, really pisses me off because it is a problem that is so very easy to solve. Elections are fairly high-tech. Even with paper voting, the tabulation is electronic (a system I like, all things considered, though I hate purely-electronic voting) and computerized. Here's how you solve this problem:
1. Precinct counts votes
2. Precinct sends "Ready to Report" message to the SoS
3. Once all precincts have checked in (or possibly once precincts covering 95% of the voting population), SoS sends "Report Results" message to all precincts
4. Precincts transmit results to the SoS simultaneously

There. Done. This is not hard to do because the system is computerized anyway. That it hasn't been done means that the states do not want to do it. They love the fraud.

Unfortunately, while it seems to have been ameliorated it hasn't been entirely ended. That's what we are seeing right now in Maricopa Country.

I saw an interesting tweet from a guy named Tyler Bowyer, former GOP county chair from Maricopa, who was responding to one of the current Democrats running the elections in Maricopa who tweeted out that this is how things have always been done in Maricopa. Bowyer claimed that was flat untrue and that the election processes have been changed to create this very kind of outcome.

France votes entirely with paper ballots and they can produce results in hours. This is a corrupt joke.

I agree. I can't stand people that are too stubborn to see the big picture. If she really cared about this country she would not want the radical Fetterman in office. Just look at how we have had to depend on Manchin and Sinema to stop a filibuster. Once they end the filibuster every wishlist the Dems have would come true, including making DC and PR a state. All we need is for something to happen to Justice Thomas or Alito and things can change very quickly.

But Delta 8 will get a person high as a kite and pain free, but they'll also test positive for marijuana use. I doubt the Russians have any experience in the matter. They called it 'hashish oil' iirc, which is a different animal then Delta 8 but could be construed as the same.

Mounting empirical research shows that race-preferential admissions policies are doing more harm than good. Instead of increasing the numbers of African Americans entering high-status careers, these policies reduce those numbers relative to what we would have had if colleges and universities had followed race-neutral policies. We have fewer African-American scientists, physicians, and engineers and likely fewer lawyers and college professors. If, as the evidence indicates, the effects of race-preferential admissions policies are exactly the opposite of what was originally intended, it is difficult to understand why anyone would wish to support them.

According to federal law, no prescriptions may be written for Schedule I substances, and they are not readily available for clinical use.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, marijuana) is still considered a Schedule 1 drug by the DEA, even though some U.S. states have legalized marijuana for personal, recreational use or for medical use.

295 Not that it matters too much, but I heard Griner didn't have any "legal" CBD stuff, it was just straight up Hash oil. The legal stuff in the stores probably doesn't even give a pothead a decent headache. The "vape" thing will burn whatever you put in it.

Imagine 200 trucks with 500kw batteries parked overnight charging at larger truck stops. The small truck stop in OK just across the river has about 30-40 trucks parked each night. You would literally need a Nuke power plant at each truck stop to generate the amount of electricity they would need. Plus every rest stop in the country would need a couple of dozen chargers for both trucks and cars. Never gonna happen.

Yeah, no. Paxlovid is a pair of pills, each to be taken once per day, that are nothing but previously existing antiviral compounds long in use before the China Coof came along.

Pfizer tested the pair of drugs on a few volunteers, claimed "it works", and the FDA fell all over themselves approving this hunk of shit plan as a "new" treatment. Pfizer has already made many billions from it, and will make many more.

I'd also add, Katie Hobbs is in a tough position. She's running for governor and the last thing she needs is to have a questionable election result. 352 Well, be careful when you complain only about the timeliness of election returns. Many of the strategies that boards of elections put forward to speed up the reporting are severe compromises to the security of the results. It only takes one lapse in the chain of custody for The Committee to do their work. Off-year and low-turnout elections are when the insiders do their dress rehearsals for big stolen elections. If they run up some new short-cut and the observers and poll workers don't squawk, they know they're in.

I strongly urge every Constitutional Republican to abstain from voting at the national level for the next two years. Just leave the ballot blank in those races. The party must be brought to heel.

If you aren't aware, the parties scour those ballots for that kind of data. "Why did this one vote all R on local races but D on state races?"

Put staunch Republicans into local and state office, but flip the national party the bird. What the worse that happens, you get an open socialist who further enacts Brandon's policies and turns more of the country against them?

People ask me why I don't get my card in MO, and we led the country on 2A sanctuary. Doesn't matter that they aren't prohibiting it today. What will some petite tyrant do tomorrow? Nobody's damn business.

Plus, who can trust the commies in the medical profession anyway?

My local oil company (COD) that we have been using for over 20 years, is charging 4.24 as of today. Been dropping steadily over the past few weeks.

377 360 Foxnews pushing an article written by a Biden advisor that Democrats will keep the senate. He says that specifically in Georgia, Arizona and New Hampshire Republicans are being way outfunded and the base is too fractured to win.

Lol. Posted by: Marcus T

Faux News are Democrats by and large and Roger Ailes is dead. Why would anyone pay any attention to what they say on air or via their articles. All of their news people and the political polling are run by hard Democrats. They have Tucker and a few other commentators that claim to be conservatives in the evening and that is about it.

378 "but I have not heard of nor know of any hypothetical situation where a doctor had to kill the unborn child to 100% guarantee the saving of the life of the mother. That situation as I understand it is rare in the extreme, and yet it is a central argument the left harps about in pushing for infanticide with no questions asked."

Now lets do guns. If I'm attacked by a large group of thugs intent on killing me (and police are minutes away), using military weapons, a 7-round or 10-round magzine on a semi-auto will not save me. I need automatic weapons in .50 cal with a grenade launcher to have a chance of surviving, and throw in some body armor. I mean, it's rare, Joey, but I might need it one day.

379 "Why does the IRS need 5 millions rounds of ammo?"

The better to kill you with. There's probably some body armor too. But they are not the only agency that seemingly has lots of ammunition, but little purview to use it.

380 "if a critically ill woman who is pregnant requires treatment that would threaten the life of the baby, there is no question that any doctor who did not go to the same medical school as Mengele or Fauci would do anything in their power to save the lives of mother and unborn child."

Correct. Not only would they do that, federal law requires them to do that when at a hospital. It's called EMTALA- the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act. Under EMTALA, a hospital is REQUIRED to provide emergency treatment to ANY human being (including women, including pregnant women and their fetuses) who presents there, regardless of ability to pay. That treatment must be sufficient to stabilize the condition of the person(s), manage the labor, or deliver the baby.

EMTALA really exists to mandate treatment for those who cannot pay for it. The point here is that Joey is just wrong that women who need emergency treatment cannot get it. Yes they can- federal law requires it - and Joey knows that, or should know that.
