The "Fact" Checkers Are Busy "Fact" Checking Jokes About Biden

Weird. Steven Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and all the rest of the Unfunny Clowns tell 50 unfunny "jokes" with false premises -- which are "factually untrue," in fact-checking terms -- per day, and these are cited all day long by the media and promoted by Twitter and FaceBook.

With no "fact" checks.

But the minute a conservative tells a joke, the totally neutral-and-not-politically-biased "fact" checkers swarm the joke to let everyone know it's "false," which is the justification then for suppressing the post and limiting its reach.

There's a specific toggle in "the algorithm" that stops "misinformation" from being shared, so if you just call all conservative jokes "misinformation," you stop people from sharing conservative jokes.

So this funny meme instantly earns a "MANIPULATED VIDEO" misinformation warning from Twitter's "fact" checkers:

That's not the only conservative joke the Real Journalists are "fact" checking in order to strangle.

On Friday I posted this funny, obviously-fake meme. Note that this is by "Tim" Nichols, not Tom Nichols, which I'd seen on Twitter.

This morning, Twitter had elevated -- pushed, editorially forced -- a "fact" check on this joke into everyone's feed. (But they're not publishers!)

Reuters' ace "journalists" were first out of the gate with a "fact"-check of this parody -- again, note that there are never fact-checks for claims made by leftwing outlets -- and their exclusive scoop was soon picked up by AP's stellar "journalists."

Both of these Crises -- the Ice Cream Joke Crisis, and the Tom Nichols Parody Crisis -- were such huge stories that the editorial team at Twitter, which, mind you, is not a publisher, made the "fact" checks for each of them the top trending story for the United States in rapid succession.

I repeat: the Propaganda Media's "fact" checker's false labeling of a story or a joke with a "misinformation" label is the justification for the social media monopolists they collude with to then push the SUPPRESS, LIMIT buttons in "the algorithm" they keep trying to pretend is some kind objective creation of artificial intelligence instead of what it is -- a code of censorship constantly updated, curated, altered, and modified by Purplehair Nosering Antifa Transexuals.

Conservatism, Inc. continues justifying this -- or, more often, just pretending it doesn't happen -- because the "understanding" they have with Monopoly Tech. iMonopoly Tech pays them money, both directly or through pass-through money-laundering groups like AEI, and also keeps them out of "the algorithm's" censorship protocols.

In return, Conservative, Inc. continues defending Monopoly Tech's every excess and attacks any conservative who suggests commonsense regulation and anti-trust action.

The Quislings of Conservative, Inc. have an "understanding" with Monopoly Tech whereby Monopoly Tech shall be allowed to continue censoring you so long as they do not censor National Review and the Bulwark and the rest of them.

Fact checkers came about because alternative media started pointing out legacy media falsehoods, and legacy media needed a counterpunch.

In the aggregate, every move the media makes to shore up its reputation leaves them further behind because they never address the core issues (their bias, their editorial decisions, the monoculture, their condescension). They just attack their critics in increasingly shrill terms and with increasingly desperate tactics.

You don't just get on a plane as third in line to succession to the Presidency to visit territory disputed by our chief, nuclear armed adversary. And especially you don't do so without coordinating this with our President, who just f*cking had a long personal call with Xi.

One could not have predicted the precise reaction, but the clear effect is to convey a complete lack of coordination at the highest levels of our leadership, with a good dose of confirmation that the Speaker of the House does not regard the President as actually in charge of our foreign policy.

Telnet is a very non-secure remote access client built into pretty much every router and switch out there. It's so insecure that one of the first things network techs have knocked into their heads is to go in and turn it off on every last piece of network equipment before doing anything else.

Guest and Guest would be default login credentials.

Safe largely because it's purely internal. One of the reasons why it's so insecure is because it's unencrypted, and you're sending your login credentials in plain text. If there was the slightest chance of someone snooping in, you'd be using SSH instead.

Telnet is not a secure protocol. That non-secure protocol inside a secure area (e.g., inside the private network) may be workable but still wouldn't be a good practice if alternatives exist. Telnet across security domains or on the internet would be ... not good.

That's not unreasonable by itself. Does it account for the *size* of the reported increases (in the UK or any other country reporting similar changes)?
