Cops Waited 40 Minutes to an Hour To Enter School After Gunman Had Entered;
Loved Ones of Children and Teachers Begged Cops to Go In and Stop Him, to No Avail

No one needs a gun. You got the cops, don't you?

Witnesses said that loved ones and onlookers anxiously waiting outside Robb Elementary School on Tuesday as the gunman was inside shooting teachers and students urged police who were outside the school to go in and try to stop the shooter.

Some also suggested they take it upon themselves to attempt to overpower the gunman.

Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw said the gunman could have been in the school for 40 minutes to an hour.

"Go in there! Go in there!" a woman shouted to officers soon after the shooting happened, witness Juan Carranza, 24, said. He lives across the street from the school. "There were more of them. There was just one of him," he said.

But he said the officers stayed outside.

Javier Cazares raced to the school after hearing about the shooting because his daughter went to school there.

He said he suggested a group of civilians "rush in because the cops aren't doing anything like they are supposed to. More could have been done. They were unprepared."

His daughter, Jacklyn Cazares, died in the attack.

Cops aren't there to stop murderers; they're there to fill out some paperwork after the murder.

Content warning for shouted curses and a lot of intense emotion and horror:

In the last couple years, cops have shown themselves to be very adept at taking down law abiding people, like the J6 people and people who think masks are a stupid idea. But genuinely bad people? No.

If you know the person won't shoot back, the cops are great. Otherwise, you're on your own.

No. What I want is the cops with the ARs to be pointing them in the direction of the bad guy, and maybe four or five of the dozen that are hanging out tasing parents to be figuring out how to climb their fat asses in a window to try and save those kids lives.

And if they won't do it, hand the rifle to a dad who will.

94 July 2020:

Senators Chris Murphy (CT) and Elizabeth Warren (MA), along with Representatives Ayanna Pressley (MA) and Ilhan Omar (MN), introduced the Counseling Not Criminalization in Schools Act that would prohibit federal money to be used to fund police in schools. The lawmakers said this would prevent money from being diverted from important student service providers, like counselors and social workers.

Part of the anarchist argument is that, if you didn't have cops, you would have concerned citizens deciding for themselves, how and when to defend their persons and property.

In that video above, there were several burly and able bodied men who were ready to go in to the building. They weren't asking why, they weren't concerned about what happened to them if they confronted the shooter, their KIDS were in there dying, and the cops... the cops were holding them back.

To hell with that.

Teachers face classroom thug violence every day. If I was an armed teacher who had to break up a melee of student thugs bigger and stronger than me, I'd be really tempted to shoot them, which would probably be subsequently judged 'inappropriate.'

Teachers would likely have poor weapon-retention skills. Wouldn't be long before a thug grabbed a teacher's gun out of its holster and started shooting. The gun-grabbers will have a field day with that.

251 When I was young, I was halfway to a pacifist, and never understood (and particularly hated) the Japanese idea of hara-kiri.

Skipping the philosophical journey from then to now... as an adult, I fully understand the concept of suicide to regain honor.

If you're one of those cops? You are never coming back from what you let happen there. Your are dishonored, shamed, for life.

The only way to regain even a semblance of honor is to flip that fancy tactical shotgun up, jam it under your chin, and pull the trigger.

That's what a man would do, anyhow. Obviously not dealing with men in that crowd.

Hostage doctrine. Same as pre 9/11 doctrine on hijacking meant jollying the hijackers along even if one or two people got shot.

Spree killers are different and will shoot until their ammo runs out, they kill themselves, or they are killed/stopped by others. Essentially they are committing suicide and taking as many others with them as possible. Different mindset entirely from hostage takers.

I gotta admit I admire the professional style Mossad uses, very simple and direct. Target was in his car, near his house. A motorcycle races up, both riders with full helmets and leather jackets, so no ID possible. They empty their pistols into the car simultaneously, then take off into traffic and disapear. Very fast, very elegant.

And this is only speculation, but I would imagine that a well planned operation would have the motorcycle pull up into a panel van a few blocks away, and the van would leave town within the hour.

Certain issues shouldn't be by state, like ther ones granted in the constitution.

States shouldn't be allowed to say "all safety during this state is dictated by the state," as Dem controlled states want to do. Especially since they continuously ignore that task by not prosecuting career criminals.

It also is , and i hate to use the term, a little privileged to think people can just up and move their lives because they want the freedoms our constitution promises. Jobs, money, and family shouldn't cause you to lose your rights because they keep you in a state that is illegally barring you from those rights.

Talk about connecting the dots. All guns made after 1945 were therefore "made for the Nazis" according to this freak's "logic". What a lunatic. Posted by: Sharkman
-----------------------
Umm no. Gas impingement of the AR came from Ljungman action which was Swedish and used in Swede's semi auto actions for a time. The STG-44's main descendant was the AK-47 and arguably the SKS's was a cross between the Garand and some less successful German semi autos.

But, SMG's which predated the assault rifle and just as deadly at short range came from WWI and were improved during the interwar period.

That video - do we know the timing? That's everything. That much force on the scene, *during* the event - unless there were even more police/etc aggressively trying to end the situation - would be prima facie evidence of historic police failure.

If the video was from just after the event, then while sickening, it's completely understandable and normal.

Its a shitty position, because if the cops let those parents inside, and the parents were killed, they probably would have been held responsible for their deaths since thru didn't stop them.

Likewise if the cops busted in and the shooter killed any more kids, we'd see headlines like "cops brash actions cause more deaths. "

The cops shouldn't have to think this way, they should want to rush in and save children, but they aren't ignorant to the last year's of demonization, where every action they take will be portrayed as the wrong action.

This is part of why Soros prosecutors don't charge anyone, they want ther criminals to be allowed to have weapons so they can be the foot soldiers. If you just prosecuted people properly you can stop some bad people from getting guns (most will get them illegally)

Remember it was Obama in Illinois that stopped the legislature from making harsher gun penalties for people caught committing crimes with guns. He wanted all the drug dealers and street trash to only get petty theft and small drug charges, with the gun charges being dropped, because all those criminals looked like the son he might have had.

They looked both stunned and amused, which I found disturbing. They asked, to clarify, "You think police do good for communities?" I sat for a moment, realizing these weren't cops; they were bullies with badges, as I asked, "Are you familiar with the Social Contract?"

We know the BP agent killed the kid, but did he rush in after cops had already entered the building, and just happened to find the kid first while the cops were going by procedure clearing rooms 1 by 1?

When did this 40 minutes start? When the shooter entered? When he first shot someone? When police were called? When police showed up? How long does it take swat to mobilize? How far away is their location to the school?

If the 40 minutes stated when he entered, cops called 3 minutes later, it takes swat 5 minutes to mobilize (which would be short) and 20 minutes to get there, now that 40 minutes becomes 12. But based on where the school is they probably don't have a Swat team, so ther time to get there isn't like in NY or LA where there is one every mile always on standby.

The cops here might 100% be in the wrong, but considering how many of these cell phone videos are complete BS used to create a narrative.

Bath School Massacre, in 1927. 44 dead, from bombs made with legal construction explosives placed by a dickless asshole school administrator as revenge for having lost a local election about a year before.

Cologne School Massacre, 1964. 11 dead, from a homemade flamethrower and spear made by another dickless asshole, in this case a sexual deviant who fantasized about kidnapping little girls.

553 394 Castle Rock v Gonzales, folks. Law enforcement can stand idly by while people get murdered, and its legally okay.

Dialing 911 to get rescued is Hollywood, not reality.

554  Democrats want gun confiscation, and I'm 100% for it.

Take away all democrats' guns. When was the last time you heard of a church-going, law and order, hard-working, patriotic American going on a shooting spree?

Problem solved.

Posted by: red speck at May 26, 2022 01:16 PM (gS3OW)

I had that same thought earlier.

Want to theoretically get rid of 50% of ther countries guns? Well make a law saying if you vote Democrat on a federal level, you aren't allowed to have a gun. Why should you vote to outlaw guns but then be allowed to have one (To compromise with Dems I'll say people voting Republican shouldn't be allowed to have abortions)

555 I have had, and still do have family and friends who are LEO. I generally am disgusted by the immediate jumping to conclusions in a officer involved incident. In this case, I think the questions I posed at 537 are highly relevant and, if true, damning.

556 And if you start your rebuke, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, straighten up and fly right," you may get shot or stabbed anyway; but you will be awesome. And if you're a believer, the villain might be startled into ceasing his offenses and others nearby may be startled into helping the victims.

557  I understand how upset everyone is, I've shed so many tears, but, instead of believing the media BS I'm going to wait for more information. I'm not going to crucify the police or border patrol, who also had children and spouses in the school, until the truth comes out in full. It's been devastating to watch the snippets of videos but without a time line, you can make any assumption you want whether it's true or not. I guess I'm surprised by the vitriol without facts.

Posted by: Stellastwocents at May 26, 2022 01:14 PM (SVo1+)

We have to remember media and Dems want you to hate cops, so they'll distort everything to make us all hate them.

They want cops to know they're hated by Republicans, so when the Dems use cops as their personal police force (like Capitol police or those told to ignore riots) they can whisper "Republicans hate you, so do what we say since we rally care for you."

Never discount the media and Dems to create a non- controversy to rut and divide people they see as allies.

558 Today Hispanics have learned a painful lesson that working class whites have learned over and over. Your on your own. The government cares about itself. The only time goevenmemt gets involved or pretends to care is when it's own short term self interest is threatened.

There in lies the problem, no one knows if it's true, and by the time we find out everyone has made up their mind, become outraged, and the truth ends up hidden.

Not that the situations are the same, but this (video context) is no different than Nick Sandmann

560 Grrrr. The time line isn't solidified. The shooter crashed his truck. (Running from police) grabbed his weapons leaving one behind. Entered the school. Locked the door and started killing. But police were on the scene from the beginning... Right? Right? What did i get wrong?

Posted by: USNtakim deplorable, now with ultra maga at May 26, 2022 01:30 PM (0OmEj)

561 The cops here might 100% be in the wrong, but considering how many of these cell phone videos are complete BS used to create a narrative.
Posted by: Rbastid

I don't disagree but they are questions that need discussion. Two LEO's I have known were swat team leaders. One was a WSP lieutenant. The other was a correctional officer at the Spokane area prison. I spent two plus years doing informal combative arts training with these gentlemen and a half dozen other brothers from church. Training to take quick and decisive action was part of that. I can't imagine either of them, in those circumstances taking that long to formulate a plan nor could I imagine them standing by while a single officer entered to engage the minster.

Posted by: Sock Monkey * Ungovernable at May 26, 2022 01:31 PM (lXEIW)

562 So most local cops like to play dress up and play hero and have buzz cuts and wear kevlar. Meanwhile the guy playing the villain and living out his delusions is actually killing people.

No one has balls anymore. Except parents. So we're back to square one. Get a gun, protect your family, homeschool.

565 I fear this more of this "keep the rubes calm" and "let's de-escalate" and "lets make sure we aren't racist" all this sensitivity crap. They should all be fired. And we should all learn from this.

566 In Georgia they will bring you on Felony violation of oath of office charge for not going in. We’re trained to get our asses in there and stop him. Even have tactics to identify each other when more than one officer gets on scene. Hope I never have to do it but I know how if I do.

567 I think people are kind of looking at this the wrong way. Of course, WE see Beto as a horse's butt, but THEY don't. The other side won't ever hear our critiques or denunciations, nor will they be informed that Beto completely hijacked the event.

The other side doesn't actually care about people. All of politics are staged events to them, so this was just another political forum.

Looking at it from the other side's perspective, this was a very successful op. The whole country is talking about Beto today.

573 OT: I've heard by email from the animal shelter about 3 hours away with the little fluffy black kitten up for adoption. They are open on Saturdays. They want the contact info for the vet I use as a reference; have you ever heard of such a thing? The vet will give me a good notice, I'm sure, but isn't that overdoing things?

I'll need to ask if they insist on the face diaper nonsense still.
Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at May 26, 2022 12:19 PM (txdEq)

Sadly, yes, I have heard of this for adoptions for a long time. That's why I went to breeders, because the charity adoptions pretty much refuse to consider men as adopters here in LA.

Yes, the doctrine was supposed to have changed after the Columbine H.S. shootings some 20 years ago. I've been retired since 2008, but our doctrine was to go in with the first two police officers and engage the shooter ASAP. I have no idea why we keep having active shooters in schools and the cops keep d!cking-around to set up perimeters.

Why the lessons seem to have been forgotten, I haven't the foggiest idea.

576 Lest we forget the exact same thing happened in the Las Vegas Massacre. LVPD SWAT sat on their asses in a hotel stairwell while the shooter rampaged from his firing nest. It was a mixed unit that had to intervene and ultimately take out the shooter.

579 I'm just going to suggest that perhaps people need to stop asking cops "permission" to go in and save their own children, and just go save them.

Yeah, I'd probably get myself killed, but I'm not going to be outside begging anyone to 'DO SOMETHING!" and talking with other parents about whether or not we should go in and do something.

If I die, I die. There's some things that aren't worth living with, anyway.

581 Obviously late to this- was working - but for the record, every single cop who stood outside should be fired and prosecuted.

They give us a ballistic vest for a reason. It's because sometimes they shoot at us. If you respond to an active shooter, you do your job. Get in the building, protect the innocent and eliminate the threat.

When I was in patrol a guy came outside and started firing rounds in our direction. Not something anyone should have to deal with. All those kids slaughtered because these cops wanted to wait him out.
