Philadelphia Pizzeria Worker Shoots Thief; City Is Now an Ultraviolent Thunderdome Where Laws Are Unenforced and Citizens Are Forced to Make Their Own Law

A skel attempted to rob a pizzeria in Philadelphia, and was stopped by an armed worker defending his family's business.

Dramatic surveillance video captured the moment a 14-year-old boy pulled out a handgun and shot a robber in the face as he tried to steal cash from the family's pizzeria in Philadelphia.

The violent confrontation in the City of Brotherly Love took place about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at Bold Pizza on Spring Garden Street, where one of three men who had just robbed a nearby CVS pharmacy entered the pizza joint, according to WPVI.

The footage shows the robber reaching over the cash register and tussling with the clerk before her son pulls out the gun and opens fire.

Police followed a trail of blood that led them to the suspect at a subway station about three blocks away, NBC Philadelphia reported. The man was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Dworkin Barimen says he saw a photo of the perp, and the lower half of his face is "hamburger." Ugh. What a horror.

Can I just point out that law enforcement doesn't just protect law-abiding civilians -- it also protects would-be criminals from getting their faces blown halfway off, by letting them know that their chances of competing a crime successfully are low, so it is unwise to attempt it?

Soros DAs unleash anarchy in the streets which not only winds up killing law-abiding citizens but also winds up stacking up the bodies of the criminals (largely "brown and black," as we'll see below) they claim they're "helping."

I hope he lives, because the kid who shot him might face some charges, especially at the hands of Soros DA Kasner. I don't know if he had actual legal justification for the shooting -- the thief did not pose a lethal threat.

Not that I'd convict myself. When there is no law, people make their own law.

What choice is left to them?

But Philadelphia is Kasner's and Soros' Thunderdome of ultraviolence. They just matched the record 500 murders it saw in 1990, during the peak of the late 80s/early 90s crime wave, and that was back before Thanksgiving.

Now they're just padding their stats.

Inman posted the video of this shooting yesterday -- I had it in the Cafe, but omitted it, as being too graphic for a light-hearted Cafe item. But here it is.

Noted Moron Wyatt Earp was written about Krasner.

Meet Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner: a Soros-installed "prosecutor" whose mission is to release violent criminals and stifle police investigations.

Krasner is a piece of garbage, but what's worse is the man is completely delusional. While addressing the press Monday, Krasner ludicrously claimed Philadelphia "does not have a crisis of crime," despite the 521 murders (as of Monday [December 6th]) in 2021.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said Monday that the city is not plagued by a crime crisis despite a record number of homicides in 2021. Krasner insisted that while the city has seen a spike in gun violence, residents should not be worried about rising crime in general.

"We don't have a crisis of lawlessness, we don't have a crisis of crime, we don't have a crisis of violence," the district attorney told reporters at a Monday press conference. "It's important that we don't let this become mushy and bleed into the notion that there is some kind of big spike in crime. There isn't. There is not a big spike in crime.... There is not a big spike in violent crime. Neither one of these things is true."

In fact, all those things are true. Violent crime in Philadelphia has been rising in 2021, but Krasner and his corrupt ADAs have been so busy denying body warrants, disapproving arrest reports, and releasing offenders without bail, that he can "claim" the violence doesn't exist.

It does, but if the offenders are not charged, it's like it never happened.

Krasner's insane Marxist, Orewellian propaganda -- the bodies you see piling up in the street do not exist; they are delusions of your lunatic mind -- that even former Democrat mayor Michael Nutter called him out on this lie, and insinuated he was an uncaring racist to boot -- because, of course, the great majority of the murder victims are "black and brown" people.

Nutter is black. That is highly relevant to the rest of this story, because that's highly relevant in the Democrat hierarchy of Moral Authority.

In Philadelphia, Krasner's remarks -- "There is not a big spike in violent crime," he continued--usually would go unchallenged by the mainstream media. But former mayor Michael Nutter had heard enough. Under Nutter, who served as mayor from 2008 to 2016, Philadelphia had pushed homicides down as low as 246 murders per year--half of the current total under Krasner and current mayor Jim Kenney. Nutter was known as a low-key wonk, not charismatic, but competent and incorruptible. In response to Krasner's denialism, Nutter fired back with a brutal op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

"It takes a certain audacity of ignorance and white privilege," Nutter wrote, for Krasner to claim that Philadelphia does not have a crisis of violence. "Krasner portrays himself as the Great White Hope for Philadelphia's Black and brown communities," he continued. "But if he actually cared about us, he'd understand that the homicide crisis is what is plaguing us the most." Nutter criticized Krasner's "white wokeness," urged Krasner to apologize to the victims' families, and called on the district attorney to resign.

# B A S E D

Now the woke never apologize, because they are God's Perfectly Righteous Avenging Angels on earth sent to punish the wicked and set the earth ablaze in a purifying fire of hatred.

But Krasner was forced to apologize -- sort of.

Because Nutter is black and a liberal and was accusing him of "white privilege" and white savior complex and white wokeness and for not caring about the massive pile of black and brown bodies he had allowed to be cut down through his lunatic policies.

So he gave a press conference where he squirted a few tears -- and just said that he was sorry if some people in the black and brown communities had experienced a loss. If you can find that video, please let me know -- I've seen it, but YouTube is hiding it from me, and I'm not saying that to be cute. They deliberately hide things they don't want people to see.

(I checked Rumble but Rumble just doesn't have it.)

Krasner also continues insisting that "overall crime is down," which is a lie-- he's jut not charging people for crimes, so the stats will show "fewer crimes are charged."

As Wyatt Earp personally attests:

In my division alone, homicides are up, shootings are way up, robberies are up, aggravated assaults are up, etc.

The Free Beacon previously covered Krasner's refusal to prosecute crimes.

Here's what made him so attractive a candidate to George Soros:

Krasner took office in January 2018 after mounting an unconventional campaign that centered on his history of suing police officers as a civil rights attorney. Just five months later, he reached a plea agreement with two career criminals who murdered a Philadelphia cop, allowing them to avoid the death penalty. Defense attorneys Michael Coard and Daniel Stevenson oversaw the deal after donating a combined $2,700 to Krasner's 2017 campaign. Coard--who has called police departments "modern versions of colonial-era slave patrols"--also served on Krasner's transition team and vocally supported the progressive in 2017.

Flashback: In 2017, the Philadelphia city council voted to force businesses to remove protective bulletproof plexiglass from their storefronts, so that criminals could get at their registers and personnel more easily.

The Philadelphia City Council voted Thursday to remove bulletproof glass from the windows of some local businesses, despite a backlash from shop owners who cited safety concerns.

...

"If we take down the safety glass, they're not changing their business model. They're not moving. What they will do is purchase firearms. I think that is a worse situation than what we have today," Oh said ahead of Thursday's vote.

Eh, what a worrywort.

The city council claims the bulletproof glass was just on stores which were fronts for drug dealers. Um, all right.

Thanks to Lizzy and Just the punchline...

This isn't about Krasner, but about another Soros DA -- George Gascon in LA.

Adam Carolla interviews LA Sheriff Alex Villaneuva, one of the last sane men in Los Angeles, who directs his deputies to continue making all the arrests they'd normally make even knowing that the Soros-funded, crime-legalizing DA Gascon will not prosecute them and will just set them free without charges.

At least Gascon won't be able to run the "crime is down" play.

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at December 16, 2021 01:35 PM

Good questions. What exactly is the solution here. If a "white savior" comes in and is tough on crime - which is mostly committed by black and brown people - then that person is considered racist for punishing minorities and putting them in jail. If a "white savior" comes in and is soft on crime - which is mostly committed by black and brown people - then that person is criticized for all the black and brown people who are victims of the rampant crime - which is mostly committed by black and brown people.

The solution is to be tough on crime. But then that person is criticized, driven out of office, replaced by a soft on crime person and then the cycle continues.

Chesa Boudin also is claiming that in San Francisco.

Remarkably, people stop calling the cops when they know that nothing will happen, and the crime statistics fall.

Two left-wing reporters had a big expose - it turned out that a couple of Walgreens that are closing in San Francisco due to rampant shoplifting had reported almost no shoplifting to the cops in the last couple of years.

Why, this proves that the stores aren't closing because of shoplifting!!!

The detective who solved the crime stops sometime as he drives past and gabs with me while i work in the garden. The perp left a cigarrette butt in the Store's parking lot and gave a sample of DNA under a court order that put him in the parking lot.

165 Seriously, thinking back to when you were 14 - if there was a 14 year old kid and a thug (with backup thugs) attempted to rob his mom and then fought with her in their place of business... what City official with a single dangling thread of sanity would do anything but say, "Well done, son, you are a hero. I hope my kids would have your courage. If you ever have ANY problems of any kind moving on from this, call me and we will personally help you."

btw I had a friend way back - ugh such a sad story - he was hiding in his house (very fancy house) when home invaders came in, armed, tied up his parents. he hid in the basement, found the family gun, snuck upstairs and killed one of the perpetrators, the rest fled. he definitely saved his parents' lives. he was 14 at the time.

this event haunted him his entire life. I really feel for the young man in this case. and to have the city going after you on top of it.

Soros made a lot of his money betting against currencies--one way is to know and control actions that affect that currency--e.g. chaos, riots, etc.

There is a reason that if the US wanted to, they could deport him to places around the globe where his life would be short and painful because of what he did to those countries in the past. Good reason given his background to suspect that he was a longterm commie mole in the UK and US.

Posted by: whig at December 16, 2021 02:03 PM (9hXN1)

193 This story has an interesting angle to consider. Soros prosecutors are attempting to terrify legitimate gun owners (and citizens in general) from defending themselves by prosecuting even obvious cases of self defense, while passing on charging violent offenders.

When the government fails to act against crime, then every crime becomes a capital crime.

When the voters decide to return to a system of courts and sentencing, then maybe punishments will be restratified.

210 That is the law in a number of states--for example, an armed robber with an accomplice can be held guilty of felony murder if the police have to shoot his accomplice dead.

There is a woman in Oregon who is a "legal reformer". She was a heroin addict. Her friend was a heroin addict. Sometimes she would be out of heroin, and he would give her some. Sometimes he would be out of heroin, and she would give her some.

Well, once when she gave him heroin, he ODed and died, and she ended up going to prison for felony manslaughter for giving him the heroin that killed him.

She's out now, and is quite outraged by this. It was UNFAIR that she was prosecuted for a little heroin swapping, and is now in law school, burning with a desire to change this unfair law.

We'll see how this works out.

254 Solzhenitsyn remarked on the distinction made by the State between common criminals and political prisoners. Criminals had it better in the camps because the Party viewed criminals as victims of capitalism and that crime would disappear as the last vestiges of capitalism were torn away, while the political prisoners were viewed as outright enemies of the State. In fact, many of the early leadership cadre of the USSR were criminals themselves. Stalin, for example, robbed banks when he was young, albeit for the 'cause'.

There has always been a de facto alliance between criminals and ideologically motivated Leftist revolutionaries. It's a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship. Look at Antifa and BLM.

They're probably responsible for some of the related shooting/stabbing deaths of people that tried to stop them. All but 3 have been released.

Then, the SJ PD arrested a gang suspected of attacking/robbing almost 200 Asian women, and 3 of them were back on the street in 24 hours. Of course, Santa Clara Co. DA Rosen is happy to get in front of a camera and act as if he's really doing what he can to keep these thugs off the street. https://youtu.be/wem_AIwc4UY

I argue against this a different way. When you are told that the police aren't allowed to investigate crimes and aren't going to show up. Your not going to bother reporting that you were just mugged and had 200 dollars stolen. Because why bother? So all the crimes don't get reported. But you just can't ignore the dead body in the street or the shooting victim that does in the ER so those numbers can't be hidden or fudged or ignored like you can other crimes.

331 As I keep screeching, vigilantism is the default condition of policing.

Whenever the caterwauling starts about how dare you think the death penalty should exist for property crimes, all I can think is that up until very very very recently, it was. If you stole something from someone, then that person was considered well within his rights to kill you.

The Year Zero nonsense results in all kinds of horrors, not the least is people being removed from just how brutal the world truly is.

332 "Graham Greene knew what was going on all the way from London."

Not exactly. Greene wasn't commenting on Hollywood; rather, he claimed that it was the *fans* of Temple's movies who were latent pedos. He wrote in his review of "Wee Willie Winkie": "Her [Temple's] admirers - middle aged men and clergymen - respond to her dubious coquetry, to the sight of her well-shaped and desirable little body, packed with enormous vitality, only because the safety curtain of story and dialogue drops between their intelligence and their desire." In other words, if you enjoy watching Temple tapdance with Bojangles Robinson, it's because you want to f*** her.

Temple's lawyers sued for slander, which is much easier under British law, and drove "Night and Day", the publication for which Greene wrote the review, out of business.

Went in, called the Cops and they got him about 15 minutes later. It would have been a righteous shoot if I decided to shoot, but I was able to get away from him. 395 306 Former US first lady Melania Trump on Thursday launched her own NFT platform, the latest public figure to join the crypto boom. A non-fungible token (NFT) is a digital object that can be a drawing, animation, piece of music, photo, or video with a certificate of authenticity created by blockchain technology. This authentication by a network of computers is considered inviolable. A portion of the proceeds from Melania Trump's NFT collection will be used to help children in foster care.

Posted by: ace at December 16, 2021 02:16 PM (0G13K

Ace, you would be wrong--robbery is a forcible felony in most states--and basically is force applied or threatened in order to get the victim to give up something of value.

The pizza shop video is not complete but has been edited. Reports have the individual shot trying to choke the mother who claimed she could not open the register because she did not know the code. We also do not know what was said but robbers are generally pretty blunt with their threats. It is also unclear whether the robber had his accomplices with him at this robbery as he did in the previous CVS robbery.

Disparity of force is involved, even when a weapon is not used, when a man uses force on a woman in order to get her to comply with his wishes. That was done here. Thus, if the mother was justified in using lethal force to repel the assault, the child was justified in shooting for the defense of his mother.

It is still unclear from the 31 second video if the kid originally got the firearm from under the counter--at the beginning, the kid goes and gets something in a rag/towel/etc. just before the attack begins in earnest. There is no audio. The robber reaches over and tries to grab money and momentarily shoves the woman and the woman and robber are tussling over the register, kid moves to the right of mother and then shoots after apparently raising the weapon from waist level.

The one behind the robber may have been his accomplice and worked to approach the register distracting the mother.

513 One of the things that always bothers me about theft is that it doesn't really address a parallel crime. It's utterly ignored, or it's at least not even considered.

It's the concomitant (or alternate) theft of a victim's life. See, time is money. How much any given period is worth is debatable, but the taking of one's assets, property, or money can be measured in the time it takes to acquire tangible currency. Steal that property and it's the taking of one's valuable time which is to say a portion of their lives.

So, it's not actually some trivial, disposable thing that's being taken; it's actual life that's being taken. Not a whole life, but life nonetheless.

We need to reassess (or at least acknowledge) theft crimes and the punishment because life is actually being taken from the victim.

Wrong on so many levels. COPS ARE CIVILIANS. Until the day the police fall under the UCMJ, they are civilians. And law enforcement PROTECTS ABSOLUTELY NOBODY. They CANNOT protect anyone, because in the end, every cop's chief of police is Sir Isaac Newton. And Albert Einstein. Ultimately, protection is YOUR job, not the job of the police.
