Dumping oil in the ground there wouldn't hurt anything, on the other hand, dumping oil into sewers or contaminating ground water supplies, rivers and streams, not so hot.
Believe it or not, if you're on City Water, that is where your toilet flushes to a Water treatment facility, engine anti-freeze (green glycol coolant) can be disposed down your toilet. This is much preferred to say, down the storm sewer. This is the "environmentally friendly" way to dispose of used ethylene glycol.
BUT, the lunatics don't know this. It is great fun to troll them. "Oh, I just flush that shit down the toilet". Much hilarity ensues. I'm a giver that way.

My 6th grade teacher had me read The Trivium by Sister Miriam Joseph during math. I was hooked. He was an awesome teacher. One of the few that didn't consider me a royal pain in the ass. Very popular text book on college campuses until the late 90's. It was not PC by today's standards.

There is no known "Off Switch", and the risk/reward isn't there. This gal who drew the pic of the robber and then included a pic of her sister being bitten by a shark really cracks me up. Tho her parents may want to talk to her about her feelings for her sister, and keep knives away.
It rang a bell, when in kindergarten a friend and I would always get done early and draw stuff at the bottom of the page. I recall drawing pics of camping and hunting.
The teacher said that was fine for now, but in first grade you couldn't do that. Way to stifle creativity educational system.

Currently, I THINK there is a sign that says vaxxed people dont need masks, but unclean should. Nobody checks and I dont even bother to read the signs. That's kind of how my fave hot dog place Mustard's is. It was recently repainted and cleaned out more or less, but still has a very late 1970s-early 1980s fast food vibe, because none of the original tables and furniture and decor has ever been replaced.

Why yes, they were comparing Alpha to Delta (and another variant in the mix as well), which was the whole point. Here is the relevant text from the abstract:
"The Delta variant associated with increased breakthrough infections in fully vaccinated individuals that were mostly symptomatic when compared to the Alpha breakthrough infections..."
So Delta is doing a much better job of breaking through those vaccinations to produce symptomatic infection, which is just natural selection in action. That's the comparison to alpha.

The conversion to non-meat meat (other than to humiliate you) is to remove the need for ranchers. Food can be grown in greenhouses, processed with robotics and processed into food-like comestibles.

I have to get a COVID booster vaccine. And maybe in six months, another booster vaccine.
Does this apply for my kids school vaccines as well? Do they need MMR vaccines every six months? What about the polio vaccine? Does that need an update? Do the schools automatically give kids their vaccines every few months, or do they go back to their pediatrician for this?

In WWI some aircraft used Rotary engines, where the crankshaft was stationary and the rest of the engine rotated. The used castor oil for lube and it slung it everywhere. The pilots ate and absorbed so much of it they had diarrhea constantly.

I know lots of gun nutz use a particular Mobil oil on their gunz. In terms of just oil, not combo solvents/lubricants, I'm still using a little can of "household" light oil that dates back to my teen years (it was at home, I didn't take it/use it).
I'm a rapacious, despicable consumption-crazed American. My gun cleaning rags now include many t-shirts I remember from .... junior high. A Depression-era person might review my overall practices without finding too much that's objectionable or stupid.

That may have resulted in some benign reactions, but, yeah, don't put motor oil on wounds. It's noncomedogenic at the very least. The lead and metal residue don't have a good track record for health.

Castor oil is a 2-stroke thing. I use it once in a while, just cause I like the smell. Not enough to have to take a dump or anything. It has trouble mixing with gasoline in cold temperatures.

Other than samples here and there not much for me so far this year. Sampled some nice masculines from Jovoy but nothing that made me want a full bottle. Watching some Tucker clips. Afgan "army" was joke, just basically a money funneling operation to defense contractors. They kept the data about how poorly they were doing secret (proprietary info, since the contractors were private) from even the commanders.
Afghan recruits were 90% illiterate. Tucker played a video of a couple of our troops trying to train them. They had to be told 20 or 30 times how to do the most basic stuff. It was a joke. One said that if they instituted drug testing, 3/4 of them would be gone.
When they graduated, they still couldn't read. And come payday, they'd disappear, so they learned they had to do any exercises with them before payday, and even delay payday.
And there was Tucker played of some recruits trying to do jumping jacks. They couldn't even do that right, in sync. Looked like a bunch of spastic retards.

Somebody I saw, Mollie Hemingway had screen shots of this stuff they did about how important literal "face time" is with infants and young children. Lots of info about how parents need to smile, make facial expressions and all that with their babies and children. How important this is for brain development, stimulating all those neurons.

My kids tell stories about me torturing them with hydrogen peroxide and iodine. Now my grandkids are learning. My mother's go to. She knew a thing or two . Her 50 year RN career included 30 years in the ER and 8 years of teaching Trauma care at the hospital's nursing school. Of course she would often tell us to stop whining and rub some dirt on it also.

Seven or more decades ago, a soldering iron might be a 1/2"x1" footprint, heated in a forge-fire, and used to heat up tin to melt solder into folded joints for metal boxes and the like.
Modern day? Photo mounting hand-iron, up-amped from 950 watts to 1750 watts, and Katy bar the door. Something is gonna get slapped with that sonofabitch, come what may!

I swear, I am learnin' me some shit from reading people who actually know what they're talking about re the evolutionary dynamics of virus vs host at the population level.
Would you believe that lockdowns, leaky lockdowns, we might say, actually select for more infectious variants of a virus?
So, you get a virus that sneaks in and seeds itself all over the place before you know it. You realize it, then lockdown to stop the spread. Well, now, it's still in those lockdowned homes and business, working it's magic.
But lockdowns are necessarily leaky. People have ot venture out to get food and supplies at the least. Unless you're gonna hold them in their homes at gunpoint and let 'em starve.
So, guess which little mutations get the advantage there? The ones that are really infectious, and have the better ability to infect with less time and exposure.
Think about that.

Thanks Debby. Same situation here. My daughter is well informed regarding the vaccines. One of her comments has been she wished people would pay as much attention to some of the other drugs they so willingly let doctors put in their bodies. I won't second guess her decision.The words she uses to describe Inslee are not ones I will repeat.

Her, my grandkids and I all got very sick in March 2020. We both tested negative. She didn't test the kids. We manifested all of the classic Covid-19 symptoms. I felt like I had pneumonia again. Her good friend is a microbiologistin in the virology lab at Spokane's largest hospital. She said the error rate on the test kit's used in Washington was over 50% iuntil they were updated in mid April. Funny that was never mentioned. Inslee doesn't care about the science. She got the J n J shot. That was two weeks ago. She was fatigued for about 3 days. So far that's all.
