I would like to bring up kind of an offbeat one: manliness, or manhood. A solid understanding of manliness. In recent years, people on the right have had some screwy ideas of manliness, equating it with belligerence and vulgarity. It's amazing how quickly political discussion can get sexualized. Express disapproval of Donald Trump and Trumpism, and you'll get "Grow a pair!" etc. Many of us can testify on this score. I said earlier this year that right-wing politics can seem an endless round of "Quien es más macho?" (Who is more macho?) This was a sketch that Saturday Night Live had, eons ago. At the dawn of the Trump administration, a leading personality on the right said, "The alpha males are back." Other people are called “beta.” Donald Trump is a real man, you see -- an "alpha." John McCain, Mitt Romney, and others are girly men, or "betas."What makes you beta, apart from genetics and your yearning to be held by Big Strong Arms, is your craven craving of approval from your peers. It's disgusting to watch "men" compete for Social Validation Points like eighth grade girls. And that's what they mean by "Grow a pair," you ridiculous pansy. They mean, "Have the courage to stand alone without soliciting the approval of your leftist peer group." But you never will. No one at National Review ever will. I would go a step further, we should try to eliminate football in its entirety starting at the HS level. Saw Brubeck twice. The last time was at the Blue Note about a year before he passed away. The guy had to be helped onto the stage but he was as sharp and with it as ever.

I disagree. Rush was out there very publicly preaching conservatism in a way that influence an entire generation, perhaps two. I grew up listening to him, reading his newsletter, and buying his two books.
National Review was a magazine aimed at appealing to the beltway conservative crowd. Rush was aimed at appealing to middle America in a way that probably converted more than a few people.

2. Are the drives completely reformatted prior to be used for election purposes?
3. How are the drives marked to identify the precinct for which the drive was used?
4. What human being is given custody of the drive initially?
5. What human being is given custody at the precinct?
6. Is only one person allowed to use the drive? If not, how many users are there?
7. Is an audit trail kept of every single human being who had touched the drive?
8. How is the data transfer accomplished?
9. What training are the people using the drive given on the data transfer process?
10. What program is used for the data transfer?
11. Do the drives have some type of encryption?
12. Is so, what encryption program is used?
13. Are there written protocols for how the drives are to be physically handled at all points of transportation?
14. If so, what are those protocols?
15. To what human being are the drives to be given for final vote tally?
16. Is there a signed log for the physical transfer from one human being to another of the drive?
17. Does any human being take a tally to ensure all drives are accounted for before vote totals are announced?
18. What is the file structure on the drives regarding vote types and totals?
19. What training are those using the drives given regarding that file structure?
20. What human beings wrote the protocols for that file structure?
21. How many drives were used in each state?
There's 21 questions off the top of my head in like five minutes. I haven't seen anyone ask any of those questions. These are, to me anyway, the most basic questions of all to be asked before those who know computers ask the important questions. And yet, radio silence.
A note on my use of human beings - I spent decades drafting discovery to companies that used software for various tracking purposes. Unless you say give me the name of a living breathing human, the replies would be the computer did it. Yeah, no, humans did. Tell me their names.

Actually I read much of the document, and re: the rigging I'm doing a similar analysis of the NC numbers as the NC Governor's race looks just like the spade shape in their document. I'm pretty sure there's a house seat or two here that can be flipped for similar reasons if they can get traction, and the NC-1 candidate has already reached out to Powell to join her lawsuit.
My comment about "not much in the news" was in regards to the GA recount exclusively, though I may not have done a good job of indicating it. Right now, there's alot of noise flying around regarding the recount and what is or isn't happening in the rooms themselves, along with a number of first-hand accounts that are in affidavits in the Lin Wood document.
Trying different phrasing: There's a thick fog-of-war around the recounts right now and since they are supposed to finish tonight(?) I don't know what that means once they've turned in those numbers, or what the SoS's comments about "recount, canvas and audit" mean in regards what is yet to be done or still will be done.

Anyone who has ever worked on a government project requiring a closed network knows how BAD an idea thumb drives are. They become dirty words. I've been in this environment so long that I don't even like using them for personal stuff.
There are so many protocols put in place to secure networks for DoD programs, I would expect the same amount of security and gravity extending to something as important to the country as VOTING.
But crap. Not even close.

Did you take a gander at the manual that @condemonkeyZ posted a few days ago? That has a few answers to your questions. What I found surprising was the "flash drive" they show in the manual is a CF card. This is old tech, I think only used by us photographers that needed the speed (this has changed). The cards have problems in that they rely on a bunch of pins that can easily be bent.
The transfer from the scanner to the destination drive is literally a drag and drop interface. You'd assume there would be no way to choose certain folders, it would automatically send all/copy all. That's not the case.
Now, this only pertains to the manual I read, and I'm sure it's different depending on age of system, county and state. Here in CA, it appeared everything I saw was OTS, from the tablets to the printer.
I do know that Ron said that when transferring from scanner to destination drive, only 2-6 people are present. We don't know how many time chain of custody is broken. We've already seen that somebody in GA "forgot" to copy off 2k votes. The system is full of holes, on purpose.

Election commissions would issue a numbered memory card/stick and a backup to each precinct or polling location. The ID Numbers are entered into a log. Cards and sticks are coded to try to make them tamper-proof after removal from the precinct's tabulation computer. Try being the key word.
Then you simply run an inventory of cards/sticks turned-in to the designated collection site or sites. Cards/sticks missing by the designated turn-in time on election night are flagged, and searched for. When missing ones are found, they are sequestered and subjected to audit.
A similar procedure can be used for boxes containing paper ballots or printed records from machines at precincts.
This will not stop cheating, but it should get rid of ballots and records going missing due to honest forgetfulness or human error. Boxes of ballots "discovered" days or weeks later in the trunk of a Buick become automatically and officially suspicious, and are dealt with per pre-election laws and rules for audits.
This ain't hard to if you want to do it.

You know where my what human beings did that came from? Getting companies to answer with names the people who set up the document destruction protocols.
Old Firm had a case where the company who destroyed the stuff was adamant that The Computer Did It and there was no human intervention at all at any point in that.
So I drafted a whole set of discovery demanding all their patents for the AI technology the company created in order to have purely AI generated code. The only reason this worked is because the judge we were before was tech savvy. The company objected on the grounds of relevance and it went up to the judge on a motion to compel. The judge ripped them a new one because either human beings created the code and then human beings at the company decided on the parameters to be used in the code or the company had created the world's most cutting edge technology and didn't tell anyone.
It was glorious. Case settled in the hallway once Big Boss pointed out to the judge that by the by the destruction protocols at issue required the destruction within 90 days of information that the company was required to keep for seven years under IRS regs.

I looked at this, and found it to be grotesquely flawed. Seems like a lot of the "math proofs" of the fraud are complete junk. Shiva seems downright incompetent, "Pede" is pulling misleading statistics from a data stream that basically just sucks, and can't really tell you much. Doug Ross has similar stuff. Then there's this POS. I don't even know where to begin.
I hope at least the guy that was on Lou Dobbs last night has a clue. He apparently got some really GREAT data, and could show things like precincts with three times as many votes as voting-age people, and votes being cast there much faster than is physically possible, given the machines that are there. He's actually a cyber security expert.
