The Murdochs have decided to reposition Fox as a leftwing "news" venture, so they will be accepted by their leftwing social circle again. I wonder if they counted on losing most of their money while doing so. Good luck with that guys. I'm sure you'll be the first to buck the Get Woke Go Broke trend. I imagine that Fox News will be attempting to pressure -- or bribe -- its few assets with actual conservative credibility to push a "Fox Is Your True Conservative Friend" narrative, both behind the scenes and publicly. But I think Fox's few conservative assets realize that Fox has broken faith with its audience for the last time -- and there is no coming back from this latest McCain-like betrayal. And I think Fox's few conservative assets have alerted their business managers and agents to begin talking to Newsmax about future contracts.

We're all sitting around speculating about the election results, AND NO OEN EVEN KNOWS WHAT THE RESULTS ARE. The "official" sties are frozen, not being updated. All the alternate sources are hosted by biased media outlets. They have an agenda, can't be trusted.
As a result, we don't really know what's happening.

The fix was in. No one screwed up. They did what they were supposed to do. This election was important enough that the money men (whoever they are - Soros or similar, China, whomever) made the call that it was worth it to take a hugely valuable asset - Fox News Channel - and set it on fire.
This wasn't incompetence. This was malfeasance. It was intentional, and the people running the thing were clearly willing to sacrifice it.

I like Tucker and he serves a purpose. But he is also like many of us in that he is just a guy earning a living. Just his living is a little different than most. So he will do what he can to earn the most $$. When you are a profit center, you can take liberties at your job that cost-centers cannot, such as insulting your boss or other employees. But that only goes so far. If Tucker were a true believer, he might have already run. His logical next step would be to capitalize on his newfound fame and own his own company so that he is not dependent on Fox or anyone else. Because he runs the risk of losing support just by staying at Fox.

Hurting Fox News is simple. Stop watching it. There are more than enough T&A on Newsmax and Oann to keep the casual male viewer interested , which is how Fox managed to turn what was an alternative news channel at one point into a mass marketing news channel. It finally started to bite them when Roger Ailes was sued, and Fox itself for sexual harrasment, etc. Remember Miss America Gretchen Carlson and the conga line of model types that ended up leaving and suing? But no matter , Fox had it's audience, and because of the few conservative voices, they stayed.
No more. I have been tolerant, spending more time of FBN than FNC, but I am finding Newsmax and Oann to be much more well rounded as news channels. Fox became one big political machine last spring and they were spending almost no time on actual news.

Get that list in a live spreadsheet and you can find more impossibly improbable situations - sort by votes for each candidate, high to low, or same with %s.
It is amazing how many wards Trump got 5% or less of the vote but 95% of registered voters voted. DC is more republican... anyway, Those are the wards where the vote counter at least knows how to count and do basic math.
The other thing, Milwaukee is a blue collar town right? Not saying Trump should have had an easy win, but Biden with 80% ?

Since both MSNBC and CNN have moved so far left, there is now a huge underserved moderate dem/rep/squish market to their right. I think that's what FOX is looking to exploit. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise for you. Just that we think Tucker is a true believer. Maybe he is. I'm sure he is to some extent, but to the extent that he would sacrifice what he has at Fox? I don't know about that. Now if he really believes in himself, he can probably set up shop on his own or go elsewhere, but that is a risk. In that regard, he is just a guy earning a living. As I stated, he runs the risk of losing all that by staying as viewers gradually leave. But he can probably milk it for a good long while.

He laughed and said, well, because traders are looking at the next two years, not the next two weeks and they see that Republicans held the Senate and gained seats in the House. He didn't think that Trump was going to pull out a win out of the remaining states and said that because of the makeup of the congress, Biden's platform of green new deals and all the crazy ideas will go nowhere. He won't even try to get any of the nutty stuff through. Money will go to the Dept of Education and to the Dept of Transportation and Nancy will HAVE to work out some kind of Covid deal with the Republicans, who will pass another major spending bill. And then things will simply roll along with no major left or right legislation going anywhere.
These types are the living example of why we lose elections.

By the way, was it the Walker recall election or one of the presidential elections that Milwaukee was late releasing their votes until they knew how many they needed to cheat? The Republican-heavy county where Brookfield is located knew what was going on so they reported 0 votes for hours because they knew what Milwaukee was trying to do. Milwaukee blinked first. Newsmax is run by a leftist named Christopher Ruddy.
He's a Jew from New York and educated in Israel, and has consistently attempted to undermine Trump's support using weasel words, giving credence to the "polls", slipping in poison pills of giving credence to Russia and Ukrain hoaxes, etc. He's the classic example, of "setting up a garbage bin to collect refuse" school of business - that's what these guys think of Patriots.
Newsmax is literally promoted by Yoiutube and others to "collect refuse" from Foxnews, capturing the market, after which Ruddy will warp Newsmax into a left-leaning enterprise just like Murdoch's sons.
Newsmax is already "converged". Like Foxnews, it keeps some figureheads who are solidly on the Right, like Hannity and Carlson, but scratch under that patina and you see the money is going to an army of leftist propagandists and infrastructure workers (pollsters, digital, IT, etc).
OAN has been consistently attacked by news media, even voted out of the White House Press Corps, while these same Leftists largely leave Newsmax (who they know is owned by a Leftist Jew) alone. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, etc, have attacked OAN and judges have acted against this one "little watched, right-wing news channel". Combine the shenanigans of Big Tech, and it's no wonder why Newsmax has grown so much larger than OAN, as it has been starved for resources both legally and economically, as Youtube's algorithm historically diverts all attention to Newsmax.
We're being set up for another fall.
And our only viable news network, built after a long slog by Robert Herring, is being canceled without anyone except Trump noticing.
