Christopher Steele Gave More Garbage Conspiracy Theories to James Comey's FBI, Some of Them Straight from Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer

Hey, remember when the Smart Set was supposedly totally anti-conspiracy theories and attacked Trump mercilessly for the Kenya Birth Certificate conspiracy theory?

Remember when they repeatedly slandered the Tea Party as conspiracy theorists?

Remember right now when these supposed anti-conspiracy-theorists attempt to deny all facts they don't like by calling them "conspiracy theories"?

And yet... they sure do love a conspiracy theory that affirms their prior political biases.

British ex-spy Christopher Steele shared more fake conspiracy theories with the FBI than just his infamous Steele dossier (with the pee story in it). At least three Steele assertions went to the Crossfire Hurricane team. Every single one of them was -- wait for it-- was untrue.

The Washington Times explains that "The three allegations had to do with supposed Trump campaign cash from Moscow via Azerbaijan, a Russian intelligence officer, and a purported intervention by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the next secretary of state."

The stories are described in Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz's recent report on FBI misconduct.

...

And then there is the allegation that Trump received "illicit campaign cash from an Azerbaijani family... Like the dossier, the Azerbaijani angle remains unverified. There is no hint of such payments in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report and his team’s two years’ worth of FBI investigating any links between Trump, his allies and Russia."

This information was given to Steele, not by a Russian source, but by "two longtime Hillary Clinton operatives and liberal former journalists, Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer." In other words, Democratic Party / Hillary Clinton operatives were directly involved in the attempt to make Trump look like a Russian stooge.

For decades we were told that the goings on in DC was so complicated
that we needed "experts" to explain to us what was happening. Experts on
both sides of the aisle started multiplying like rabbits.

Trump has shown that someone with zero elective experience could win
the highest political office in the country and not just figure it out
but master it.

If an outsider can play the game better than the experts, why do we
need experts? And if we don't need experts a whole bunch of people are
going to need to learn to code.

People do some crazy stuff when their meal ticket is threatened.

So Obama/Hilda told them ... "we will protect you from the Bear, but first you will Blow Me". Or at least they would pay millions for Hunter and his ilk to buy blow, and get blown by the hooker de jour. DeepState serves the oligarchs, our military might is used to persuade, or punish.

187 Client of mine came in today and we were talking about immigrants. While he is a NYC-bubble, piety-regurgitating liberal progressive, I thought we could at least agree that it's always difficult to be a first generation immigrant.

This leads him into a train of thought about how that "Putin is so clever" that he apparently ginned up some electronic bot farm that succeeded in maintaining civil war in Syria so as to cause the immigrations problems of Europe.

So I guess the left has now retreated into the narrative of All Powerful and Inscrutable Putin, so that the apparent evidence of his obviously having manipulated the election for DJT will just never be found. Jesus Horatio.

But the legacy press isn't nearly as powerful as it was even a decade ago.

1. The whole Judge Kavanaugh thing stemmed from data mining the NSA Mega data by democrat operatives working through GPS Fusion who collected as much information as they could on potential Republican SC nominees. Ford was recruited to make accusations, and they assumed that would be enough to shoot him down.

2. When Cruz was running in the presidential primary, GPS Fusion floated the infidelity story and inundated the media with it, which resulted with Trump pulling away, and Cruz dropping out. Until that very moment, it was still competitive. They assumed Trump would be the easier candidate to beat.

Prediction (not really):

Biden walks into the convention with a plurality of delegates but not the majority.

The first vote happens as predicted and no one wins.

Before the second vote takes place, Barr announced Durham's indictments and they include Biden himself along with many other top name officials in the DNC.

How do the delegates vote on the second ballot?

339 People who've seen Cats are actually angry about how bad it is.

I'm sorry but anyone who would imagine that "Cats" would be a good choice deserves to be mocked not sympathized with.

At the very least trapped, humanely neutered or spayed and released.

344 334 The most striking part of the Uranium One Deal: to this very day, not one "journalist" has ever asked Obama or Clinton the most obvious question: "Why is this in our interest?"

Weird, huh?

346 Great, Cats is so awful it's probably going to become the next Rocky Horror.

And bootleg copies are probably already playing during Furry yiffing parties.

347 I have no doubt that the Bushes knew the game and took part. They may look dumb (maybe Jeb) but they aren't dumb. You don't get to the top job without your elbows out and knowing how the other players play the game.

I felt like a fucking fool for having fallen for GWB's regular guy schtick. What makes it even worse is that asshole Rove probably coached him.

For what it is worth the babysitter we got (very infrequently) for our boys is now a DEA agent somewhere in Central America. I like to think we helped with that somewhat.

Your not going to see anything that's not animated for years. I highly recommend the classic WB stuff and old Johnny Quest DVD s

353 THAT'S DAME JUDI DENCH TO YOU was in Chronicles Of Riddick. Only the seriousest of serious thespians get to star in a vehicle like that.

Not quite as bad as Patrick Stewart starring as a poop in the Emoji movie, but close.

They can't use it after nearly 3 years of everyone in the Democrat Party flat out lying about Russia collusion.

If you want to have some fun, the next time some leftist gives you shit about Ukraine or Rudy or getting to the bottom of what really happened in the 2016 election, ask them if it's Mueller Time yet.

They don't like it.

366 Interesting experience today:

I usually go day after Christmas and buy the Hallmark Star Trek ornaments. I went today - they were sold out of all Star Trek ornaments, including the one that cost $100 this year. But they had a shit ton of Star Wars left.

Same thing online.

368 I keep thinking about something... Let's say we have a corporation whose management is the marketing team. How would that corporation be run?

Well for one, they wouldn't give a shit about the product being made. As the saying goes "people don't know what they want, marketing job is to tell them what they want." So there is no point to research and development - those dollars would be better spent on marketing. They would get easily absorbed into silly twitter fights with each other. They would be positively resentful against the public, and anyone else at the company that suggests they don't know what they are doing. They would pretend to be the experts at everything - they would boss around the engineers or manufacturers telling them what do do, and not listening to them over what is actually possible. All company decisions would be about making the company "look good".

At some point conservatism became beholden to the marketing department. And they are pissed that a design engineer stepped in and said "instead of more advertising, why don't we spend our time making a better product? In fact, let's make the best product for the lowest price." They are not just resentful that their position and importance has been usurped, but that such strategy actually works, much better than their advertising and marketing based strategy ever could. And they are doing everything in their power to prove such a strategy is a failure, up to and including advertising their competitors product.

369 It was just a matter of time until Sid's name popped up really. I always thought that Steele and his "resume" were just a cover for the usual Blumenthal Bullshit.

Sid's MO is all over the 24 hours after the election when Clinton Inc. was spinning their "muh russhan erection CONspiracy".

I'm surprised it took this long for his name to reappear in the MSM.
