CNN Claims That an FBI Agent Is Under Criminal Investigation For Altering an "Investigative Document"

The Horowitz report will now supposedly be released on December 9, with Grassley holding hearings with Horowitz as the main witness on December 11.

Christmas comes early? Or another ticket to see the wolf show?

Well, it seems legit, because CNN is reporting what could be the first leak from the upcoming report.

An FBI official is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document related to 2016 surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser, several people briefed on the matter told CNN.
The possibility of a substantive change to an investigative document is likely to fuel accusations from President Donald Trump and his allies that the FBI committed wrongdoing in its investigation of connections between Russian election meddling and the Trump campaign.

CNN is just telling you their planned coverage there. The "accusations" will be coming from inside Jake Tapper's nasally face.

Say, isn't an FBI Form 302 Interview Memorandum an "investigative document"?

And didn't we hear about a Form 302 being altered long after the fact to incriminate Michael Flynn?

So, which FBI agent will be investigated for altering an "investigative document"?

I think Trump is making a huge mistake here.

Sure, the prosecutors broke multiple laws and obviously had no idea who did what or they wouldn't have been humiliated on the stand by their star witness suddenly claiming to be the murderer.

And yes, inserting malware into a DoD computer system would get most people hard time, let alone get a case thrown out of court, but there are bigger issues at stake.

Good order and discipline mean that sometimes enlisted men just have to take in the pants for the good of the service. That's particularly true in the Navy. (Oh, is it!)

Anyhow, just the other day a 1st Sgt with two CIBs and three ranger tabs came up to me in tears, demanding to know why Trump didn't simply do everything the flag officers said, even if they stomp on the enlisted ranks.

I fear he's right, and a lot of 11bs I know will be voting for Warren, because she seems like she understands the military and will respect the chain of command.
